Terms and Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions governing this Promotion:
1. What is the “Bill Pay” promotion?
Digicel is offering its Home and Entertainment customers the opportunity to participate in this “Bill Pay” promotion (“Promotion”), subject to these terms and conditions.
This Promotion allows you, as a Digicel customer, the opportunity to win prizes once your account is in good standing and when you pay your bill in full and on time in a particular entry month during the period from 12:00 a.m. on 1st September 2020 to 11:59 p.m. on 31st March, 2021 (“Promotional Period”).
Eligible customers will have an opportunity to win a prize of 1 month free service.
2. Who is eligible to enter this Promotion?
In order to be eligible for this Promotion (“Eligible Customer”):
You must be a legal resident of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago;
You must be 18 years of age or older;
You must be an active Digicel Home & Entertainment Customer and
As a Digicel Home and Entertainment customer, your account must be in good standing and you must have paid your bill on time and in full for the particular entry month during the Promotional Period.
Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to participate in this Promotion or win any of the prizes:
Any person who at any time on or after 31st August 2020 was or is a director, officer, employee, agent of Digicel (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited or any of their respective parent, subsidiary, or other affiliated companies, franchisees or service agencies or independent contractors
Individuals engaged in the development, production, advertising or distribution of materials for this Promotion (collectively the ”Promotional Entities”); and
Persons who are or purport to be immediate family members (defined as biological parent, step-mother, step-father, sister, brother, daughter, son or dependent or spouse of any of the foregoing) of any person in any of the preceding categories, regardless of where they live, or who reside in the same household as any person in any of the preceding categories (i.e., who have lived in the same household for at least three (3) of the twelve (12) months preceding 31st August 2020) whether those persons are related or not).
Digicel Corporate customers are excluded from participating in this Promotion.
3. How does a Home & Entertainment customer participate in this Promotion?
To participate in this Promotion, you will need to be an active Digicel Home & Entertainment customer who has paid your bill in full on or before the due date in a particular entry month during the Promotional Period.
NB: Only qualifying customers whose Home & Entertainment account remains in a good standing on the day of the monthly draw will be eligible for a prize.
4. How many times can a customer win a prize?
The maximum number of wins per customer is one (1) monthly prize for the duration of the Promotion.
If a customer wins a prize, that customer can no longer qualify for another monthly prize during the Promotional Period.
5. What are the entry dates and the respective draw dates for the Weekly Prizes?

6. Will I be notified if I have received a prize?
Yes; you will be contacted via the number listed on your account that won the prize.
After a winner is randomly chosen, Digicel will place a call to that customer’s number. Digicel will make only one (1) attempt to call the selected number. If no one answers that call, then another winner will be randomly selected.
A winner shall be deemed the person identified (by the person answering the call) as the owner of the Digicel account (“the winner”). If, in Digicel’s sole opinion, the information given when Digicel placed the call to identify the winner is untrue, then Digicel reserves the right to have the prize withheld from the purported owner and then to give the award to the rightful owner of the Digicel account.
The winner will also be announced on Digicel’s Facebook and Instagram page.
7. How will a winner receive their prize?
The prize of free service for 1 month will be applied to the winner’s selected account.
The next bill received by the winner will reflect the full plan discounted.
Additional Terms and Conditions
A. Participants in this Promotion acknowledge that compliance with these Terms including all eligibility requirements is a necessary pre-condition to any of the prizes being awarded to them. For removal of all doubt, participants who have not complied with these Terms are subject to disqualification.
B. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any prizes redeemed through this Promotion.
C. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
D. Digicel does not warrant that access to or use of the Digicel service will be uninterrupted or free of any of the events stated below, due to the nature of computer and wireless communications. Digicel and the Promotional Entities are not responsible for any problems that may arise, including but not limited to:
lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks or other connection, availability or accessibility problems arising in connection with or over the course of this Promotion;
communications failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions or hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties;
failure of personal computers and/or software and hardware configurations, any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of the prizes or in the prize notification documents;
for any errors of any kind in connection with this Promotion, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, or technical in nature; or
the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information in connection with the Promotion.
E. Any attempt by an entrant or other individual to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, may be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws in the countries where this Promotion is being run. Should such an attempt be made, Digicel reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
F. The selected winners must have complied with these Terms to enter and be on an active, qualifying contract with no accounts held with Digicel being in arrears to be eligible to win the prizes.
G. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.
H. If a prize is unavailable, we may, in our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification.
I. Prizes are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.
J. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel Trinidad website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
K. In the event of any conflict with any promotional details contained in these terms and conditions and promotional details contained in point of sale, television and print, advertising, promotional packaging and other promotional media (“Promotional Materials”), the details of this Promotion set forth in these terms and conditions shall prevail.
L. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these terms and conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Digicel employees are not authorized to waive, modify or amend any provision or provisions of these terms and conditions in any manner whatsoever.
M. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by Digicel and/or the Promotional Entities and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or Promotional Entities for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties) and any other purposes to which you have consented. N. In no event will Digicel be liable for more than the relevant prize available under these Terms.
O. Save in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming any prize.
P. All entrants agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel. By participating in the Promotion, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel, its agencies or its affiliates, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity. If a winner refuses to do so, they forfeit their right to claim the prize (including the Grand Prize).
Q. In addition to these Terms, you remain bound by our the Postpaid Terms and Conditions and the Home & Entertainment Terms and Conditions (whichever is applicable)
