Yes. It is recommended that you activate the plan before leaving the country

The more convenient way is the My Digicel app; you may also dial *147# or *153#
What happens if i dont activate a roaming plan?
You may be able to connect to a network while roaming without a plan however you will be charged at the standard roaming rates.
How do I keep track of my usage while im roaming?
Postpaid customers- Use My Digicel App or *120#. Prepaid customers- Use My Digicel App or *147#
