Terms and Conditions

The “Fantasy Football Promotion” (the “Promotion”) Frequently asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for chances to win certain prizes in the competition. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.
“We” or “us” means Newcom, a company registered at 14 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.
1. What is the “Digicel Fantasy Football” Promotion?
Fantasy Football allows customers to create virtual teams based on the most popular real life professional footballers in the EPL and win great prizes. The customer will create the best virtual team according to their knowledge, choosing from the list of available players.
2. Who is eligible to enter this promotion?
All Digicel customers 16 years and older, including postpaid, prepaid and dual customers are qualified to participate in the promotion.
The staff of Digicel, its advertising & PR agencies, Dealers, Distributors and sub-distributors and their immediate families (spouse, brother, sister, father, mother, daughter, son) are not eligible to enter
3. What is the promotional period?
The promotion begins at 12am on Thursday, October 21, 2021 to Sunday, May 22, 2022
4. How does the promotion work?
To enter the Competition the Customer must access the URL link (https://bit.ly/307JPax) provided to them in a text message or via Games and More in the MyDigicel App .
Customer will be able to create a team of eleven (11) featuring professional football players. Player’s choice in team members is not determined by the team. Players can only have a maximum of three (3) players from any EPL team.
The end goal of the game is to rank the highest on the leaderboard, which requires players to attain the most points by the end of the game week.
5. Can I access the App free?
No, you will be required to have an active data plan or access to wifi.
6. What is the cost to subscribe to Digicel Fantasy Football?
You will be required to have TT$ 10 available credit to be subscribed to the service.
Subscription is charged on a weekly basis (auto-renew).
7. How will I know that subscription is successful?
If you were successfully charged, the below sample message will be sent to your phone from 7676:
‘Thanks for subscribing to Digicel Fantasy Football Promotion. Go ahead, create your dream team and start winning.’
If you do not have sufficient balance then the below message will be sent to your phone from 7676:
‘Sorry, you do not have sufficient credit to complete this transaction. Please top up and try again.
8. Once subscribed, how do I create my teams?
You can create a virtual team with your preferred players from the EPL, one hour before the football matches start.
You are able to select your team’s lineup and formation. For example: you can select 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 forwards or 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 4 midfielders, 2 forwards or 1 goalkeeper, 3 defenders, 4 midfielders and 3 forwards, assigning players to each available position. Up to three players can be selected from the same real life team.
9. Can I make changes to my team, once I have already created?
Yes, you are able to modify teams during the promotion once the changes are done one hour before the first live football match of the week begins.
10. How does my virtual team accumulate points?
Once the team is created, your points will accumulate based on the performance of the players in the actual football matches.

11. How will I be able to monitor my team’s rank?
You will be able to view your teams’ point standing, by selecting “MY TEAM” or Scores from the MyDigicel App or https://bit.ly/307JPax
12. I no longer want to be subscribed to Digicel Fantasy Football, how do I unsubscribe?
In order to unsubscribe, you can send STOP to 7676.
N.B. There is no charge to unsubscribe.
13. How are winners selected?
Customers whose virtual team is ranked #1 at the end of each week (commencing October 21st 2021- May 22, 2022) will win that week’s prize valued TT$600 while the customer with the virtual team ranking #2 will win TT$350.
Throughout the promotional period, there will be a total of 30 weekly winners for 1st place prize and 30 weekly winners for 2nd place prize.
If two or more virtual teams get the same amount of points in a given week, the virtual team that was created and saved first will be declared as winner, the other team will be award second place.

14. Is there a cut off time for weekly entries to be received?
Yes. All entries must be received by 11:59:59pm on each Sunday or before the beginning of the promotional week.
15. How will I know if I have won?
If your entry was selected, you will be contacted via phone by a representative from Digicel.
You must be able to correctly state the name of the promotion “Digicel’s Fantasy Football Promotion” in order to qualify for the prizes.
If the customer selected with the highest score does not complete the tagline correctly, the customer with the next highest score or tied score will be selected and called until a winner is chosen from the backup list in the order it was drawn based on the rank.
16. What if I was contacted, but I missed the call?
On the draw date a maximum of three (3) calls will be made to the selected winner within a period of an hour. If the phone is engaged, not answered, switched off or goes to voice mail, this is considered a failed attempt.
17. If I was contacted and won where do I collect the prize?
Prize can be collected at Digicel’s Office located at 11c Maraval Road, Port of Spain.
You must provide a valid government ID that is passport, voter’s id or driver’s license in order to redeem the Prize Package.
18. If I was contacted and have won, how long do I have to collect my prize?
You are required to collect your prize within 14 days of being contacted.
19. What do I need in order to claim the prize?
You are required to provide a copy of the following items via email:
A government issued photo ID (passport, driver’s license or national voter’s ID)
In the event that a disabled customer is selected, that customer will be allowed to have a representative collect the prize on his/her behalf. Providing that there is written consent, this written consent should be notarized by JP or Minister of Religion. In addition, a valid government identification of both the winner and the representative collecting the award must be presented to claim the prize.
20. Am I allowed to enter if I am under 18 years of age?
Yes. Persons under 18 years are allowed to enter however, minors should be at least 16 years old to participate.
21. What do I do if I have won and I am under 18 years old?
Juveniles (16 years and older) winning must be accompanied by parents/guardians in order to claim prizes. All winners must present a valid national government ID, in order to claim their prizes. Parents/guardians should present a valid national government ID as well as the child. In the case the child does not have a valid national government ID then a birth certificate will be acceptable.
22. Is this game authorized by NLCB?
Yes.
Additional Terms and Conditions
A. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any rewards redeemed through this Promotion.
B. Digicel gives no warranty or guarantee that its network or services shall be continuous, or will be free from faults. Digicel will, however, use its best endeavours to ensure its network and services are reasonably fault free, and that service is reasonably uninterrupted.
C. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer with prior approval from NLCB if the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
D. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for redemption of Prizes and data or other charges associated with internet connectivity. Be reminded that once roaming, you will not be able to use any data from your local prepaid or select postpaid plans.
E. The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter and be on an active, qualifying contract with no accounts held with Digicel being in arrears to be eligible to win the prizes.
F. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you upon approval of the NLCB.
G. If a prize is unavailable, we may, substitute the prize with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification upon the approval of the NLCB.
H. Prizes (if other than cash prizes) are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.
I. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion subject to the NLCB approval. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications upon the approval of the NLCB
J. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion on behalf of the Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion for the purposes of administration of the promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to agents on request if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented. Winners may be required to take part in related publicity, including (without limitation) publication of the name and image of a promotion winner along with their winning entry via Digicel’s website, social media and other press and media channels. No additional payment will be given for this. Refusal to participate will result in forfeiture of the prize.
