Terms and Conditions
These 1GB and Free Nights App Store Promotion (the “Promotion”) Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your download, update, access and use of the Digicel Prime Bundle Apps (listed below and collectively referred to as the “Apps”) from the Android Play Store and Apple App Store (collectively referred to as the “App Stores”) during the Promotional Period (defined below). You should read these Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.
“We” or “us” means DIGICEL [TRINIDAD & TOBAGO] LIMITED (“Digicel”) a company incorporated in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, having its registered office at ANSA Centre, 11C Maraval Road, Port of Spain, Trinidad. References to “we, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
“You” means the person accessing or using the App Stores to download, access or use the Apps (and “your” shall have the same meaning).
By downloading, accessing or using the Apps, whether occasionally, frequently or permanently, or by otherwise indicating your consent, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to, or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of 13, you should not participate in this Promotion.
1. What is the 1GB and Free Nights App Store Promotion ?
From October 20, 2020 until December 19, 2020 (the “Promotional Period”), we are offering Digicel customers the opportunity to redeem and use 1GB of data, free of charge, to download and update the Digicel Prime Bundle Apps in the App Stores. During the hours of 10:00pm and 5:59am (“Night”), all Digicel customers will be able to download and update the Apps at no charge, whether or not the 1GB of data is redeemed.
2. Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?
All Digicel customers, both prepaid and postpaid are eligible to participate in the Promotion.
3. Which mobile applications are included in the Digicel Prime Bundle?
The Digicel Prime Bundle includes the following Apps, which you will be able to download from the App Stores.

4. How does the 1GB and Free Nights App Store Promotion work?
During the Promotional Period, Digicel customers will receive an SMS notification inviting them to redeem their free 1GB on the My Digicel App, which they may use to download and update the Apps from the App Stores. During the Night, Digicel customers will automatically be able to download and update the Apps without using any of their main data allowance or mobile credit.
5. How can I redeem my 1GB data allowance and check my balance?
6. For how long will my 1GB data allowance be valid?
Your 1GB data allowance is valid from the time of redemption for one (1) hour and can only be redeemed once.
7. When will my main data allowance or mobile credit be used?
Your main data allowance or mobile credit will be used at the standard data rate in the following circumstances:
(a) When you browse the App Stores;
(b) If you download or update the Apps during the hours of 6:00am and 9:59pm without redeeming the 1GB data allowance in MDA;
(c) After you deplete all of the free 1GB data allowance;
(d) If you use the App Stores for anything except downloading or updating mobile applications; and
(e) When you access and use the Apps after installing them.
8. Will I be notified if I deplete my free 1GB data allowance?
Yes. If you deplete all of the free 1GB data allowance, you will be notified. If you proceed to use the App Stores after the notification, your main data allowance or mobile credit will be used at the standard data rate.
9. Data Protection
Your use of this Promotion is governed by our Privacy Notice which can be found in the link (https://www.digicelgroup.com/tt/en/terms-of-use/privacy-policy0.html).
Additional Terms and Conditions
A. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by the Terms and Conditions of the App Stores.
B. For customer support, or to report a problem or send us your feedback, please contact us via MDA.
C. This product is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.
D. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App Stores. Be reminded that once roaming, you will not be able to participate in this Promotion or use any data from your local prepaid or select postpaid plans.
E. We reserve the right to terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the App is being abused, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
F. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.
G. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or MDA. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
H. You accept that certain content on the Apps may not be available in your country or in your preferred language due to contractual licensing restrictions. Please note that content available in your current location may become unavailable to you if you travel to another location in which content is restricted.
I. The terms and conditions which apply to any plan are those published on the App at the time that you redeem your data allowance. These will only apply for the Promotional Period. If you participate in the Promotion at Night, then the terms and conditions that apply are those published at the time of your most recent participation.
