Digi Goal Rush – World Cup Promotion FAQs

These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to Digicel’s DIGI GOAL RUSH. We encourage You to carefully review these FAQs and Terms before participating in this promotion.

1. What is Digi Goal Rush?

Digi Goal Rush is a World Cup promotion where Digicel customers can predict the score of selected World Cup matches for a chance to win prizes.

2. Who can participate?

The promotion is open to all consumer Digicel prepaid and postpaid customers in Barbados.

3. Who is not eligible to participate?

The following persons are not eligible:

• Corporate mobile customers.

• Employees of Digicel Barbados and their immediate family members.

• Any person otherwise excluded under the Promotion Terms and Conditions.

4. How do I enter?

To enter, text your score prediction for the featured match to the designated short code 2215 before the official kick-off time of the match.

5. How much does it cost to enter?

Each entry costs BBD $2.00 and will be charged to your Digicel account or deducted from your prepaid balance. Premium SMS text charges apply, and standard bundled SMS allowances do not cover promotional entries.

6. Can I enter more than once?

Yes. Multiple entries are permitted. Each entry submitted will incur a separate BBD $2.00 charge.

7. When do entries close?

Entries close at the official kick-off time of the featured match. Any entries received after kick off will not be eligible. Please note that specific match cut-off times may be advertised at 2:00 PM on match days, depending on the tournament schedule.

8. How do I win?

Customers who correctly predict the final score of the featured match will be entered into a random draw for the advertised prize.

9. What happens if I predict the wrong score?

Incorrect predictions will not qualify for the prize draw. The BBD $2.00 entry fee is non refundable regardless of the accuracy of the prediction.

10. How are winners selected?

Eligible participants who correctly predict the final score will be placed into a winner selection pool. Winners will be randomly selected from that pool.

11. How will I know if I have won?

Winners will be contacted by Digicel via phone call or SMS within forty-eight (48) hours after the match. For specific promotional windows, winners may also be announced and called live on the radio on Tuesdays or Thursdays between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM.

12. What prizes can be won?

Prizes vary throughout the promotion and are detailed in Appendix 1 below.

13. Can I transfer or exchange my prize?

No. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or alternative prizes.

14. What happens if I cannot be contacted?

If Digicel is unable to contact a winner within a reasonable period or if a winner fails to claim their prize within the mandatory redemption period, Digicel reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

15. How long do I have to claim my prize?

All prizes must be fully redeemed and claimed within one (1) month from the date the customer was first contacted by Digicel. Unclaimed prizes after this window will be forfeited.

16. Will I receive a confirmation message?

Yes. Customers will receive a confirmation SMS acknowledging receipt of their prediction.

17. What happens if there is a technical issue?

Digicel reserves the right to investigate and determine the validity of entries affected by technical issues, network interruptions, or system failures.

18. Can Digicel change or cancel the promotion?

Yes. Digicel reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion at any time in accordance with the Promotion Terms and Conditions.

19. Where can I view the full Terms and Conditions?

The full Terms and Conditions will be available on Digicel Barbados' website and other official Digicel communication channels.
