These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to and govern your participation in the “More Fuh Now” Promotion, offering chances to receive a $1,000 in prizes. We encourage you to carefully review these FAQs and Terms before taking part in this promotion.

“Digicel,” “we” or “us” refers to Digicel (Barbados) Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of Barbados, with its registered office at 2nd Floor, Williams Tower, Williams Industries Complex, Warrens, St. Michael. Throughout these Terms, “we,” “our,” and “us” also extend to include our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) as applicable. “I” or “You” refers to the participating person (the use of “my" and “your” will carry the same meaning). Your participation in this promotion will be taken as your agreement to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of eighteen (18) you should not participate in the Promotion.

1. What is the More Fuh Now Promotion?

The More Fuh Now (“Promotion”) offers customers the opportunity to receive a $1000 in prizes from Courts (Unicomer) Barbados Limited and Shine Automotive, upon completion of the qualifying activity.

2. What is the Qualifying Activity?

New Customers switching to Digicel from the competitor, who sign up for the Hastings Flex Postpaid Plan will receive a $1000 in prizes.

3. When does the Promotion start and end?

The Promotion starts on Wednesday, January 7, and ends on Saturday, January 31st (the “Promotional Period”). The redemption period for the incentive will be February 3rd, 2025 – December 31, 2025.

4. Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?

Eligibility is extended to:

  • New customers who sign up for the $125 Hastings Flex Postpaid Plan.

  • Customers switching to Digicel and porting their number.

  • You must also be a resident of Barbados (“Participating Market”).

Exclusions: The following persons cannot participate in the Promotion:

  • Corporate and business account customers.

  • Any person who is not a legal resident of Barbados.

  • Any person under the age of eighteen (18).

  • Digicel employees or family members.

5. How do I sign up for the Promotion?

You can sign up by visiting one of our four retail locations at Colonnade Mall Bridgetown, Sky Mall Haggatt Hall, Sheraton Mall, Sargeant’s Village, Via a Foot on the Streets (FOTS) team member, Online Digital Advertising or via our website www.digicelgroup.com/bb.

7. How do I qualify for the Promotion?

To participate in the promotion, customers must activate a new Postpaid plan valued at $125 under a 24-month contract. This offer is available to new port-in customers, individuals switching to Digicel and porting their number. One (1) qualified participant will receive $1000 in prizes.

8. Is a security deposit required?

A security deposit may be required depending on the outcome of your credit check. The amount is based on your credit score and will be communicated during the sign-up process.

9. How is the winner selected and notified?

Once you have signed up and are eligible, you automatically qualify for the incentive. Eligible persons will be notified when they sign up for the $125 postpaid plan in the retail store and by the FOTS. The promotion will also be promoted on all our owned channels (social, digital, retail screen, OOH digital, MDA and Madme) to encourage persons to sign up.

10. What are the compatible smartphones for this promotion?

Apple & Android smartphones are compatible.

11. Can the customer participate while roaming?

Yes, the customer can participate while roaming. However, while roaming, you will not be able to use any data from your local prepaid or select postpaid plans, and you will be charged at the prevailing roaming rates for Voice, SMS and Data usage.

Additional Terms and Conditions

A.      This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any rewards redeemed through this Promotion.

B.      Digicel gives no warranty or guarantee that its network or services shall be continuous or will be free from faults. Digicel will, however, use its best endeavors to ensure its network and services are reasonably fault free, and that service is reasonably uninterrupted.

C.       We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.

D.      You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for redemption of prizes and for connectivity in relation to your use of text messages.

E.       The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter and be on an active, qualifying contract with no accounts held with Digicel being in arrears to be eligible to win the prizes.

F.       We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you.

G.      If a prize is unavailable, we may substitute the prize with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification where applicable.

H.      Prizes (if other than cash prizes) are not exchangeable and are not redeemable in cash.

I.         We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

J.        Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion on behalf of the Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion for the purposes of administration of the promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented.
