5.     Where can I sign up for a Family Plan?

Family Plans are available in-store only at participating Digicel retail locations. All lines must be activated in store.

To add additional lines to your account, the Primary Account Holder will need to visit a retail store, and go through the below mentioned procedure:

1.     Choose the Family Plan that fits your needs (2, 3, or 4 users).

2.     Provide a valid ID for verification and a quick credit check.

3.     Review and sign the service agreement.

4.     Receive SIM cards for each additional line.

5.     Insert the SIM cards to activate and start using the service.

If the other users are with you in-store, their SIMs can be set up and tested right away.

Important to know

  • The Primary Account Holder is responsible for all lines on the account.

  • A credit check is only required for the Primary Account Holder.

  • SIM cards can also be taken and set up later if other users are not present.

6.     Is valid identification required?

Yes. The Primary Account Holder must present valid government-issued photo identification at the time of sign-up. The Authorized Users are not required to present in the store at time of sign up.

7.     How does shared data work?

The data allowance is shared across all lines on the Family Plan. Usage by any line reduces the total shared data balance available to the group.

Once the shared data allowance is exhausted, data speeds may be throttled and data overage will be barred.

8.    How does shared anywhere minutes work?

The anywhere minutes allowance is shared across all lines on the Family Plan. Usage by any line reduces the total shared minutes balance available to the group.

Once the minutes allowance is exhausted, any further calls will be charged at pay-go rates  and applied to the Primary Account.

9.     What is Roll Over?

Unused data and minutes from the current billing cycle will roll over to the next billing cycle, subject to Digicel’s Fair Usage Policy and provided the account remains active and in good standing.

10.  Can I add or remove lines later?

Yes. Changes to the number of lines will require a plan change and re-contract, and pricing, data allowances, and bonuses will be adjusted accordingly.

The Primary Account Holder shall have the ability to add or remove lines and/or Authorized Users from the plan, and Digicel will act solely on the instructions of the Primary Account Holder.

11.  How does the Digicel+ bonus data work?

Eligible Digicel+ customers will receive the stated bonus data, which is added to the shared data pool each month while the account remains eligible.

12.  How does Caribbean roaming data work?

Caribbean roaming data (where included) can be used in eligible Caribbean destinations and is subject to Digicel’s roaming policies and fair usage limits.

13.  Can Family Plans be used while roaming internationally?

International roaming outside the Caribbean is not included and will be charged at standard roaming rates unless an applicable roaming add-on is purchased.

14. Are credit checks required?

Yes. All Family Plans are subject to credit checks and approval based on the Primary Account Holder. Digicel reserves the right to request deposits, apply credit limits, or decline applications following its credit assessment.
