DIGICEL REAL CONNECTIONS CHRISTMAS – CHANCE TO WIN” PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions:

During the Promotional Period defined below, Digicel is offering its “Digicel Real Connections Christmas – Chance to Win” Promotion (the “Promotion”).  

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in this Promotion. 

“We” or “us” means Digicel (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited (“Digicel”), a company registered under the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with registered offices at 11C Maraval Road, Port of Spain, Trinidad.   

“I” or “you” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning). 

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

These Terms incorporate the Privacy Policy which you can access via Digicel’s website. 

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of eighteen (18), you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately. 

1. What is the “Digicel Real Connections Christmas – Chance to Win” Promotion about? 

Digicel is offering its mobile customers (both Prepaid and Postpaid) and Digicel+ customers (“Customers”) a chance to win weekly prizes, subject to these terms and conditions, during the period from 12:00 a.m. on 6th November, 2025 to 11:59 p.m. on 18th December, 2025 (“Promotional Period”). 

2. How can customers enter this Promotion?  

The following are the methods by which Customers can enter this Promotion during the Promotional Period: 

• As a Digicel Prepaid mobile customer: Purchase any D’ plan  

• As a Digicel Postpaid mobile customer: Sign up for any Postpaid My plan or pay your bill in full and on time  

• As a Digicel+ customer: Sign up for any Digicel+ service or pay your bill in full and on time  

• Switch network: Port over to our mobile network or Digicel+  

3. Where can I find more information on the plans and services included in this Promotion?

4.  Are there any other methods of entry?  

Yes, Customers can dial *323# or use the My Digicel App to purchase chance to win entries. The price for each entry is $3.00 VAT inclusive. 

5. What are the weekly prizes to be won, how many winners and what are the draw dates for the Promotion?  

NB:  Once a Customer has not won a weekly prize, their entries will be included in any other subsequent weekly draws.  

6. How will winners be notified? 

After a winner is randomly chosen for each of the weekly prizes, Digicel will place a call to that Customer’s number. Digicel will make only one (1) attempt to call the selected number. If no one answers that call, another winner will be randomly selected. 

A winner shall be deemed the person identified (by the person answering the call) as the owner of the Digicel account.  

The winner will also be announced on Digicel’s Facebook and Instagram page. 

7. How many times can a Customer enter for a weekly draw?   

• There is no limit to the number of times a Customer can enter for a weekly draw. 

• Once they have not won a weekly prize, their entries will be included in any other subsequent weekly draws for this Promotion.  

8. Can a weekly winner choose which prize they will receive?  

 No. A Customer cannot choose the weekly prize they would like. Once the Customer wins a weekly prize, they will be awarded the prize based on that week.  

9. Will Customers be able to win a weekly prize for each of the weekly draw dates?  

 No. If a Customer wins a weekly prize, he/she will not be eligible to win another weekly prize during the Promotional Period. 

10. Where can a winner collect his/her prize?   

• A winner can collect his/her prize at Digicel’s head office located at  ANSA Centre, 11C Maraval Road, Port-of-Spain. 

11. Conditions of Use 

• This Promotion is open to Digicel+ customers and all Digicel mobile postpaid and prepaid customers except when roaming and except Corporate customers (and those who are not eligible as they fall into one of the categories identified in the terms below.) 

To enter and be eligible to win: 

• You must be a legal resident of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago 

• You must be 18 years of age or older 

• If you are a Digicel postpaid mobile subscriber, your account must be in good standing or if you are a Digicel+ customer, your account must be in good standing 

The following terms apply to All Digicel Customers  

• Digicel will not notify participants of the number of entries obtained for this Promotion.  

• Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to participate or win any of the prizes:  

• Any person who at any time on or after 6th November 2025 was or is a director, officer, employee, agent of Digicel (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited or any of their respective parent, subsidiary, or other affiliated companies, franchisees or service agencies or independent contractors; 

• Individuals engaged in the development, production, advertising or distribution of materials for this Promotion (collectively the” Promotional Entities”); and  

• Persons who are or purport to be immediate family members (defined as biological parent, step-mother, step-father, sister, brother, daughter, son or dependent or spouse of any of the foregoing) of any person in any of the preceding categories, regardless of where they live, or who reside in the same household as any person in any of the preceding categories (i.e. who have lived in the same household for at least three (3) of the twelve (12) months preceding  6th November, 2025 whether those persons are related or not). 

Conditions of Entry 

• Participants acknowledge that compliance with these terms and conditions including all eligibility requirements is a necessary pre-condition to any of the prizes being awarded to them. For removal of all doubt, participants who have not complied with these terms and conditions are subject to disqualification. 

• A winner may be required to provide Digicel with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder/owner of the Digicel account associated with the selected winning entry before the prize is given to him/her. 

• Winners shall be fully responsible for the payment of all taxes, duties or statutory deductions in relation to the prizes awarded for this Promotion. 

• Digicel reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend this Promotion at any time, if fraud, technical failures, including any network server or hardware failure, viruses, bugs, errors in programming, or any other errors or other causes beyond the control of Digicel corrupt the administration, security, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion. 

• Digicel does not warrant that access to or use of the Digicel service will be uninterrupted or free of any of the events stated below, due to the nature of computer and wireless communications. Digicel and the Promotional Entities are not responsible for any problems that may arise, including but not limited to:  

• lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks or other connection, availability or accessibility problems arising in connection with or over the course of this Promotion;   

• communications failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions or hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties;   

• failure of personal computers and/or software and hardware configurations, any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of the prizes or in the prize  notification documents;  

• for any errors of any kind in connection with this Promotion, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, or technical in nature; or  

• the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information in connection with the Promotion. 

• Any attempt by an entrant or other individual to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, may be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws in the countries where this Promotion is being run. Should such an attempt be made, Digicel reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. 

• In no event will Digicel be liable for more than the relevant prize available under these terms and conditions. 

• Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for another product or for cash. 

• In the event of any conflict with any promotional details contained in these terms and conditions and promotional details contained in point of sale, television and print, advertising, promotional packaging and other promotional media, (“Promotional Materials”), the details of this Promotion set forth in these terms and conditions shall prevail.  

• The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these terms and conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Digicel employees are not authorized to waive, modify or amend any provision or provisions of these terms and conditions in any manner whatsoever. 

• All entrants agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel.  By participating in the Promotion, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel, its agencies or its affiliates, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity. If a winner refuses to do so, they forfeit their right to claim a prize.   

• Digicel reserves the right to award any forfeited prizes to another participant in the Promotion. 

• Where applicable, warranty and support information relating to prizes will be included in product packaging. All the prizes awarded during this Promotion are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty and Digicel makes no representation as to the functionality of any of the prizes. 

• Save in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming any prize. 

All values stated in these terms are conditions are in Trinidad and Tobago currency. 

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the courts of which shall be of competent jurisdiction.
