1. What is the Digicel Christmas “Mega Value Family Plan” Promotion?
Digicel is giving you MEGA Value this season! With our Christmas Promotion, all existing Prepaid and Postpaid customers who are parents will be able to participate in any of our three Mega Value offers:
A. Tween Phone Offer (phone purchase without sim)
The Digicel Christmas “Tween Phone Offer” will allow all existing Prepaid or Post-paid customers the opportunity to purchase a mobile device for their child (under the age of (16) sixteen) at a discounted rate $165
B. Mega Value Family Plan (Sim purchase without phone)
The Digicel Christmas “Mega Value Family Plan” will allow all existing Prepaid or Post-paid customers the opportunity to purchase a prepaid SIM for their child (under the age of (16) sixteen) to link to their existing mobile number and earn the following rewards;
i. Free Fifty (50) minutes of voice calls per day between Child SIM and Parent SIM
ii. During the Eligibility/Join Period [ 1st Month Only]: [5GBs] of any use data for the second account holder (child)
iii. Post Eligibility/Join Period [ 2nd Month Onwards]: For each additional prepaid and/or post-paid plan purchased by the primary account holder (i.e. parent) the Child will get 20% of any-use data of that value for free
iv. Child SIM, where applicable, will also come with dedicated data allocated for use of the following applications [APPS to be localized by markets].
C. Value Family Combo (Phone +Sim December 1-31)
The Digicel Christmas “Mega Value Family Combo Plan” will allow all existing Prepaid or Post-paid customers the opportunity to purchase for their child (under the age of (16) sixteen) a mobile device at a discounted rate + a new prepaid SIM to link to their existing mobile number and earn the following rewards;
i. Free Fifty (50) minutes of voice calls per day between Child SIM and Parent SIM
ii. During the Eligibility/Join Period [ 1st Month Only]:5 GBs] of any use data for the second account holder (child)
iii. Post Eligibility/Join Period [ 2nd Month Onwards]: For each additional prepaid and/or post-paid plan purchased by the primary account holder (i.e. parent) the Child will get 20% of any-use data of that value for free

2. When does the Promotion start and end?
Promotion Period Start Date: December 1st 2022

Eligibility/Join Period: December 1st to 31st 2022
3. Who is eligible to participate in the Promotion?
i. All Digicel Mobile customers who are parents and have an active Prepaid or Postpaid SIM/number will be able to participate in the “Mega Value Family Plan”.
ii. The respective Child who is under the age of (16) sixteen.
4. What kind of prizes/benefits will my child and I receive?
Digicel Mega Family Promotion:
i. Free Fifty (50) minutes of voice calls per day between Child SIM and Parent SIM

5. How does the Promotion work?
Follow these steps to participate in the Promotion:
A. Tween Phone Offer
Step 1: Visit a Digicel store or the MyDigicel App;
Step 2: Complete the Digicel Mega Value Family Promotion Participation & Consent Form;
Step 3: Purchase the discounted mobile device for your child (under the age of (16) sixteen)
B. Mega Value Family Plan
Step 1: Visit a Digicel store or the MyDigicel App;
Step 2: Complete the Digicel Mega Value Family Promotion Participation & Consent Form;
Step 3: Upon purchase, a Digicel representative will add your child’s new sim to your mobile account
Step 5: The Digicel representative will activate the Digicel Mega Value Family on your mobile device.
Step 6: Continue purchasing a mobile data plan, and your child will receive 20% any use data for up to one (1) year.
C. Mega Value Family Combo (Available December 1 – 31)
Step 1: Visit a Digicel store or the MyDigicel App;
Step 2: Complete the Digicel Mega Value Family Promotion Participation & Consent Form;
Step 3: Purchase the discounted mobile device + new sim for your child (under the age of (16) sixteen)
Step 4: Upon purchase, the Digicel representative will add your child’s new sim to your mobile account
Step 5: The Digicel representative will activate the Digicel Mega Value Family on your mobile device.
o The parent will be required to show proof of the child’s age by presenting verifications of Birth Certificate
o Only 1 Child can be added per parent and vice versa
o Parent can be either Prepaid or Postpaid However Child can only be Pre-paid First time activaton are done store Only by the Sales Representative. Once accounts are linked and the Mega Value Family Plan is active, this cannot be changed.
Step 6: Both Parent & Child will be able to immediately start calling each other for Free;
o Child accounts will also be awarded dedicated data for Apps
o However 20% Bonus Data will be activated during the second month at the point of eligible plan purchase by the parent and will have the same validity as the Parent plan.
o First-time activation of the Mega Value Family Plan is free for Parent customers.
o Mega Value Family Plan has a 30-day validity (renewable),
o parent customer will be prompted at the start of the 2nd Month to pay $15 to renew the Mega Value Family Plan membership.
o Parent customers will have access via MDA App or UMM to reactivate the promo by paying the monthly required fee.
Step 7: Mega Value Family Plan will be renewable every month until the promo expires
o Both Parent and Child customers will be notified via SMS in case of Mega Value Family Plan expiry.
o The Child’s 20% data validity will be based on the same validility of the last eligible plan purchased by the parent customer.
o Child account holders can independently buy more Prime bundles and offers by recharging their number.
o Parent and Child customers can both also enjoy this Christmas the 10GB Data bonus Christmas offer and continue to maximize the value.
6. How many children can a parent register for the Mega Value Family plan?
Only 1 Child can be added per Parent under the Mega Value Family Plan
7. Is there an age requirement for each child?
Yes. The child must be 16 years old or younger to participate with their parent.
8. Should my child be present at the Point of Sale?
No.
9. Do I need to provide proof/evidence of relationship between me and my child?
Yes
10. Will I be required to provide proof of age for my child?
Yes. The parent will be required to show proof of the child’s age by presenting any of the following verifications:
i. Birth Certificate
ii. Valid ID
11. What if I have two phones, can I just purchase a SIM only for my child and link to my account?
Yes, you will able to utilize the Mega Value Family plan offer which allows you to purchase the a sim for your child and link to your existing Digicel number.
12. If my child already has an account can he/she be qualified for Phone +Sim offer?
No, an existing account cannot be used for a child. Only new sim purchases qualifies for the Mega Value Family Combo plan [New Phone + SIM].
13. How soon will my child receive 20% Bonus Data?
Adter The 20% data allotment will immediately be added to your child’s account once you have made successful purchase of a eligible plan.
14. Will my child’s data rollover/ accumulate each month?
Yes, the 20% data allotment will accumulate/rollover on your child’s account.
15. Will my child and I be able to check Data Bonus and Minutes balances?
Yes, you and your child will be able to check your balances via MyDigicel App or UMM service Menu.
16. Can I use my free 50-minute per day to call any other numbers besides my Child’s?
No, the Family plan will allow free voice calls between parent and child ONLY. Regular calling rates will be applied for any other calls.
17. What happens if my child and I exhaust the 50-minute per day limit?
If you or your child exhaust the daily 50 minute limit then calls will be defaulted to your any Plan minutes you may have and thereafter defaulted to PAYGO where regular calling rate will be applied.
18. How do I ensure my child continues receiving these benefits?.
To ensure your child maintains full monthly benefits of the Mega Value Family Plan you must ensure the following;
i. Payment of monthly subscription for Mega Value Family Plan from the second month onwards.
ii. Continue eligible data plan purchases
19. Will there be a monthly subscription charged to maintain the Mega Value Family plan?
First-time activation of the Mega Value Family Plan is free for Parent customers.
However, for the child to continue enjoying the benefits, the parent will have to pay a monthly subscription fee of $15 from the second month onwards.
20. Will monthly reoccurring fee for Mega Value Family Plan auto renew?
Yes, Mega Value Family Plan will be allowed to auto-renew given sufficient credit is on parent account for activation. Customer will receive auto renewal messages.
21. What happens if my Mega Value Family plan expires?
If the Family plan expires, you will have an option to reactivate same via MyDigicel App and UMM at a cost of $15
22. What happens if I pay my monthly Mega Value Family Plan subscription fee but not renew my data plan?
You and your child will still benefit from the free 50 minutes calls to each other, however you will have to purchase a new eligible data plan for your child to continue receiving 20% Bonus Data.
23. Will there be an option to cancel my Mega Value Family Plan monthly subscription?
Yes, there will be an “opt out” option as well as an option to cancel auto renewal via the MyDigicel app.
24. Can I opt out of the Mega Value Family Plan at any time?
Yes, you can opt out at any time you wish, however reoccurring family plan monthly fee will not be reimbursed.

These Digicel Mega Value Family Promotion (the “Promotion”) terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion during the period of December 1, 2022 - December 31, 2022 ( the “Promotional Period”). You should read these Terms carefully before participating.
“I” or “you” means the person participating in the Promotion, and the parent or legal guardian of the child who will benefit from your participation in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms incorporate our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy which you can access via our website.
If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of eighteen (18) you should not participate in the Promotion.
1. What is the Digicel “Mega Value Family” Promotion?
The Digicel Mega Value Family Promotion is a limited promotional offering whereby existing prepaid and post-paid customers who participate in the Promotion will be allowed to have a second account added to their existing account for their child (under the age of (16) sixteen) and receive applicable benefits accordingly (collectively called the “Offers”).
2. What are the Offers?
There are three (3) Offers included in the Promotion:
i. The Tween Phone Offer – whereby an existing Digicel prepaid and/or post-paid customer can purchase a mobile device at a discounted rate for their child (under the age of (16) sixteen). Discounted rates are as advertised on each Digicel market website.
ii. Mega Value Family Plan- whereby an existing Digicel prepaid and/or post-paid customer can add an additional account to their existing account and receive a dedicated SIM for the applicable second account holder (i.e. their child under the age of (16) sixteen). The Mega Value Family Plan shall include dedicated mobile and data allowances for this second account user which are specified on each Digicel market’s website.
iii. Mega Value Family Combo- whereby an existing Digicel prepaid and/or post-paid customer shall receive both the Tween Phone Offer and the Mega Value Family plan for the applicable second account holder (i.e. their child under the age of (16) sixteen).
3. What are the Rewards?
By participating in this Promotion, you can receive these rewards:
i. Tween Phone Offer – Discounted mobile device for your child (visit Digicel market website for specified rates).
ii. Mega Value Family Plan
a) During the Promotion Period only: 5 GBs of any use data for the second account holder (child)
b) From the Effective date until November 30, 2023:
i. the allocation of Fifty (50) minutes of voice calls per day to both the primary and secondary accounts for parent to child voice calling only; and
ii. Where applicable, dedicated 0GB data allocated for use of the following applications [APPS]
c) Post Promotional period: For each additional prepaid and/or post-paid plan purchased by the primary account holder (i.e. parent/legal guardian) after the Promotional Period, an additional twenty (20%) percent of every purchased plan value shall be allotted to the second account (the child) for any use data purposes. This additional 20% offer will become active as at January 1, 2023 and continue until November 30, 2023.
iii. Mega Value Family Combo
1. A Discounted mobile device for your child; and
2. The Mega Value Family Plan as outlined in Clause 3(ii) above.
4. When does the Promotion start and end?
The Promotion is valid from December 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. (the “Promotional Period”).
5. Who can participate in the Promotion?
a. Parents/Legal Guardians who are Digicel mobile prepaid and/or post-paid customers; and
b. The respective Child who is under the age of (16) sixteen.
The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:
a. Post-paid corporate accounts;
b. Post-paid customers with overdue amounts or inactive accounts; and

Step 3: Upon purchase, a Digicel representative will add the second account (child) to the primary account (parent or legal guardian’s account).
Step 4: Receive your second account holder (child) SIM.
Step 5: A Digicel representative will activate the Digicel Mega Value Family on your mobile device.
Step 6: Continue purchasing a mobile data plan, and your child will receive 20% any use data for up to one (1) year.
Mega Value Family Combo
Step 1: Follow the steps to participate in the Tween Phone Offer and the Mega Value Family Plan.
7. How many children can a parent/legal guardian register for the Mega Value Family Plan?
Only one (1) child can be added to each primary account (parent/legal guardian).
8. Will I be able to unlink my child’s account from mine?
No, once you link your child’s account to your own, it is permanently linked.
9. Will I be able to check my Data and Minutes balance?
Yes, you will be able to check your balances for both accounts via the MyDigicel App or UMM service menu.
10. Do I need to provide proof of a relationship between myself and my child?
Yes. You will also be required to fill out the consent form at (LINK) where you will verify this by signature of the form.
11. Will I be notified when to participate?
Yes. During the Promotional Period you will receive daily alerts via SMS, push and/or in-app notification inviting you to participate.
Additional Terms and Conditions
A. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.
B. You are required to use a compatible smartphone to run the App and participate in the Promotion. A compatible smartphone is an Android (OS 4.0 or higher) or Apple (iOS 2.0 or higher) smartphone.
C. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused.
D. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you, at our discretion.
E. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for connectivity and data usage in relation to your participation in the Promotion, including but not limited to withholding tax or any other applicable tax.
F. You may not participate in this Promotion while roaming.
G. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the MyDigicel mobile application. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
H. You acknowledge and agree that we may collect, store, share, and otherwise process any personally identifiable information that you provide about yourself (and any minor for which you have guardianship) during the Promotion and the mobile services application and registration process, including, but not limited to, names, ages, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. We will use this information in accordance with our privacy policy (https://www.digicelgroup.com/en/privacy-policy.html), including for managing and administering the Promotion, verifying your age, identity, and postal address, or registering you for a product or service. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and country and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the Selected Customer) and any other purposes to, which you have consented.
I. You agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel. By participating in the Promotion, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the world in perpetuity. If you refuse to do so, you forfeit your right to claim the prize if you are selected as the winner.
