1. What is a MiFi?
A MiFi is a wireless device, particularly a wireless router, which operates as a Wi-Fi hotspot. It connects, via the use of a SIM card, to a mobile phone network (using 3G, 4G or LTE) and uses this connection to provide a wireless or Wi-Fi hotspot. A MiFi can provide a Wi-Fi hotspot to various devices capable of establishing internet connections including laptops, tablets, smartphones and video game devices, all of which must be within a specific range of the MiFi.
2. What are the available MiFi plans?

3. How do I track the data usage on my MiFi plan?
You can track the data usage on your MiFi plans through the My Digicel App (“MDA”). Simply download the MDA from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store, then add your MiFi account. You will be able to see the amount of data used for the period.
4. How do I add my MiFi mobile number to MDA?
To add your MiFi number to MDA, you can call Digicel’s customer care at 100, or visit any Digicel Store to have your number added to MDA.
5. What can I do if I deplete the LTE/4G data allotment in any of these 30 Day plans?
Once you have added your MiFi number to MDA, you can purchase an LTE data add-on through MDA. Alternatively, you can visit any Digicel dealer store or contact our Customer Care to purchase an LTE data add-on.

6. What are the specifications of the MiFi devices?
The following are the specifications of the MiFi device:
- Portable
- Utilizes the LTE Network
- Maximum number of devices that can be connect to the MiFi device: 15 to 32
- Data Speed: Up to 150 Mbps
7. Is a security deposit required when purchasing the MiFi device?
No. There is no security deposit. The MiFi devices (“Devices”) are sold separately from the MiFi plans. Please see the VAT inclusive prices of our available Devices below:
8. Can I place the MiFi SIM card in another device?
No. The SIM card in the MiFi device will not work in another device. You should not tamper with the MiFi device in order to remove the SIM card.
9. How can I activate the Hotspot 150 plan or either of the prepaid plans?
You can visit a Digicel store or contact our Customer Care to sign up the Hotspot 150 plan or activate the prepaid 30GB or 10GB plans.
10. Do I get roll over data with the MiFi plans?
No. There will be no roll over data with the MiFi plans.
11. Can I return the device if I am having issues with coverage?
Yes, if you have coverage issues, you can return the device within seven (7) days of purchase and be refunded within seven (7) days of the device being returned. Please note, for a refund to be processed, the device must not be damaged or in a state of disrepair and you must provide a copy of your proof of purchase. Upon presenting the device to a Digicel store, the device will be checked by a Digicel representative to ensure there is no physical or liquid damage to the device. Once a Digicel representative determines that the device is not damaged, then a refund will be processed and given to you within seven (7) days from the date of return and inspection of the device.
12. Additional Terms and Conditions
· The plans offered here are for the personal use of individuals and not commercial use. Any usage at all by an individual that, in Digicel’s sole discretion, is intended for financial gain or profit by you will result in the immediate termination of the plan.
· Digicel reserves the right to terminate any of these plans if, in its sole opinion, the plans are being abused.
· Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) these plans being offered to its customer at its discretion.
· Digicel reserves the right at any time, with or without notice, to vary or cancel these terms and conditions or the plans. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the terms and conditions of the plans, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice by posting such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
· Customers shall be solely responsible for keeping the MiFi device properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their MiFi device. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s MiFi device.
· Subject to the above, Digicel’s standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions or Prepaid Terms and Conditions (whichever is applicable) shall apply.
