The prepaid Visitor SIM is an all-encompassing product (Voice, SMS and Data) that gives more value and offers short to short term visitors at an affordable price. The Visitor SIM is a convenient solution for visitors to stay connected with their friends and family during their stay in Barbados.
Yes, the Visitor SIM card will be available for purchase using both methods; physical SIM or eSIM.
To confirm your device is eSIM capable, dial the Short Code *#06# to verify your device has an eSIM ID or EID or another good way to check is to search your phone Settings (usually under Mobile Network/Connections) for the “Add eSIM/Add Mobile Plan” option.
· eSIMs are hard-wired to your device while physical SIM cards are removable
· eSIMs hold multiple profiles (phone numbers) per customer, while a physical SIM card holds one profile per customer.
To activate the SIM card dial *122# and the Visitor Pass Bundle will be activated automatically
