2. When does the Promotion start and end?
The Promotion is valid until 23:59 June 30, 2021 (the “Promotional Period”).
3. Who can participate in the Promotion?
To participate in the Promotion, you must be a Digicel customer with an active Eligible Plan (as defined in Clause 5) from Samoa (as identified in Clause 6) AND have shaken your phone or otherwise participated via the ‘Shake It’ mechanism in the My Digicel App. You may activate a new Eligible Plan during the Promotional Period or already be on an existing Eligible Plan.
The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:
a. Postpaid corporate & business account customers;
b. Families of our employees;
c. Employees and families of employees of any company associated with this Promotion
d. Postpaid customers with overdue amounts or inactive accounts;
e. Persons under the age of eighteen (18); and
f. Persons who do not reside in Samoa.
5. Which Digicel prepaid/postpaid bundles/plans are included in the Promotion?

The Eligible Plans will be available in the ‘Shake It’ section of the App, which are identified with the ‘Shake It’ Icon.
7. How do I participate in the Promotion?
i. To participate in the Promotion, you will need to have activated an Eligible Plan via one of the following channels:
1. My Digicel App; or
2. USSD/UMM (by dialing *123#
ii. You will receive a ‘Shake It’ notification inviting you to participate in the Promotion. The notification will be received via SMS, push and/or an in-app notification.
iii. Confirm your participation in the Promotion by clicking on the ‘Shake It’ notification and accepting the terms and conditions.
iv. Once you agree to participate in the Promotion, you can then ‘Shake to Win’! Please note the ‘Shake It’ action must be completed in the App.
8. Will I be notified when to participate in the Promotion?
Yes. Whenever you activate an Eligible Plan, you will receive an SMS notification that you are eligible for a chance to win.
10. How will the Winner be notified?
a. The winner will see that they have won the prize at the time they shake their phones using the Shake it function on My Digicel App.
b. The Winner will be notified by a Digicel representative who will call the mobile phone number used by the Winner to participate in the Promotion.
Additional Terms and Conditions
A. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.
B. You are required to use a compatible smartphone to run the App and participate in the Promotion. A compatible smartphone is an Android (OS 4.0 or higher) or Apple (iOS 2.0 or higher) smartphone.
C. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused.
D. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you, at our discretion.
E. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App, and your redemption Prizes, including but not limited to Withholding Tax or any other applicable tax.
F. This Promotion will be accessible to you while roaming, but any prizes won will only be able to be redeemed in Samoa.
G. The Grand Prize is non-transferable, and Digicel reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify, or supersede the Promotion due to circumstances outside its control.
H. Digicel’s decisions, including the selection of a Winner, are final and binding on all participants.
I. Participants must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to win.
J. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
L. You agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel. By participating in the Promotion, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the world in perpetuity. If you refuse to do so, you forfeit your right to claim the Grand Prize if you are selected as the Winner.
M. In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by our My Digicel App Terms and Conditions of Use.
