Friday 4th May: Complete communications and entertainment provider, Digicel, would like to congratulate Ms. Tai Vaeluaga who met with Deepak Khanna, Digicel Samoa’s Chief Customer Officer, to collect her VIP Fight tickets and accommodation details for herself and her friend Lawreen to watch the WBO Heavyweight Champion, Joseph Parker defend his title against Romanian challenger, Razvan Cojanu.
Digicel’s VIP Experience data promotion called for pre-paid customers to simply purchase any data bundle to be entered into the draw to win with every $1 spent earning one entry into the draw.
The excitement in the room was contagious as Ms. Tai chatted with Digicel representatives; “I never thought I’d win so it was a huge surprise to receive the call saying that I was the winner! Like every proud Samoan, I’ve always followed Parker and Tua’s fights. Whether you’re a boxing fan or not, you can’t escape it, so I’m really excited for the opportunity to actually watch the fight live and especially with Lawreen who has always been a great friend. This trip is going to be amazing and I’m glad that, thanks to Digicel, I get to share this experience with her”. Tai and Lawreen will leave Samoa on Friday evening, returning Sunday afternoon – a flying visit for the two friends who are looking forward to an unforgettable experience.
Deepak Khanna added, “This is just one of the many ways that we’ve been able to reward our customers. We thank Ms Tai for her continued loyalty as a Digicel customer and hope that she and Lawreen have a fantastic trip – we can’t wait to follow their journey to the boxing ring and back.”
