Wednesday 12 July 2017: Sunday marked the end of Digicel’s Top Up & Win promotion where customers only needed to top up $6 or more to be in to win weekly cash and Huawei tablet prizes along with daily credit giveaways. To round off Digicel’s biggest promotion yet for 2017, a grand prize winner was selected live on TV1 by Digicel’s Mulitalo Sailo Tulifau from over 300,000 entries.
Acting CEO, Farid Mohammed, said “It’s been fantastic being able to give back to over 700 of our pre-paid customers and we’re very excited to finally be able to reward our Grand Prize winner”. He also added “Now that our Top Up & Win competition is over, we’ve launched our All in One promotion which will send one lucky pre-paid winner and a friend or a family member to the United Kingdom to watch Joseph Parker’s fight in September. We have a lot more promotions this year for both our pre-paid and post-paid customers and we’re looking forward to rewarding and thanking our customers for their ongoing loyalty”.
Maluina Aiono was awarded with a $30,000 cheque to cash, a Samsung Galaxy S8, free talk and free data for one year. “I’ve been topping up but I never actually thought I would win. This is definitely going to help me and my family, it’s truly overwhelming. Faafetai tele lava, Digicel!”
