All the Digicel Postpaid customers can use their phones while being oversea. Dual-band phones will work in most countries except the USA and Canada. You will need to use tri-band and quad-band phones in these countries. We recommend that you contact Digicel Customer Care before you leave Vanuatu, to verify that your phone will work in whatever country you are traveling to, and to receive more detailed information about Digicel’s roaming policy.
Follow these easy steps:
1. Make sure your Roaming service is activated on your Digicel SIM. Visit a Digicel store or contact Digicel Customer Care on 123 and pay the 15,000VT deposit.
2. Before departure, find the Network Selection setting in your Digicel mobile phone menu and select Automatic.
3. Upon arrival, turn on your phone and allow it to select Digicel’s roaming partner in the country you are visiting.
In some instances, your phone will not automatically select the Digicel roaming partner in the country you are visiting. In these cases, you will have to manually select the roaming partner. To manually select the roaming partner, scroll through the menu options in your phone until you find the Network Selection option, select Manual, and then select the available Digicel roaming partner.
The process for changing a network selection varies for each phone, so we recommend that you refer to your phone’s manual before you depart.
