  1. WHAT ARE BIG DATA BUNDLES?

    Digicel's NEW Big Data bundles are a combination of data, talk, and bonus app data in one bundled plan. These plans are available to all Prepaid Customers using compatible devices and can be activated via the My Digicel App or UMM short code *284#.

     

    2. WHAT DO THE BIG DATA BUNDLES ENTAIL?

    There are 4 Big Data bundles to choose from including data, cross-net minutes, unlimited on-net Digicel talk & and bonus app data. Bonus app data can be used to stream content from Digicel apps including d’Music and PlayGo.

     

    3. WHAT’S NEW WITH BIG DATA BUNDLES?

     

  • Plans include increased data allocations.

  • A new 3-day plan option.

  • 3 to 30-day plans include bonus app data that you can use to stream content from d’Music and PlayGo.

  • Unlimited Social (SWIFT) is no longer free, there are now 3 social bundles at a cost per validity.

     

    4. WHERE CAN I CALL WITH MY UNLIMITED TALK MINUTES?

    You can call Digicel BVI Mobile numbers unlimited for your plan validity. (Does not include international to other Digicel markets.)

     

    5. WHERE CAN I CALL WITH MY CROSS-NET TALK MINUTES?

    You can call any BVI Mobile number.

     

    6. DO MY MINUTES AND DATA ROLLOVER WITH MY BIG DATA BUNDLE?

    Yes. Unused minutes and data bundles rollover once you allow the plans to auto-renew or if you activate the same or another plan before the expiry of the grace period. Unused minutes and data bundles will be stored but not accessible by the customer until they activate a new Big Data bundle within 24 hours.

     

    If your Big Data bundle expires, you have a 24 hour grace period to activate the same or another Big Data bundle. Once activated within that time, any unused bundles from your last plan will be rolled over.

     

    You can, therefore, benefit from unlimited rollover once you keep a plan active.

    If you allow the 24 hour grace period to expire any unused bundles will be lost.

     

    7. WILL MY BIG DATA PLAN AUTO-RENEW DURING THE GRACE PERIOD?

    No. Auto-renewal will not occur during the grace period, even if auto-renewal was enabled on the plan before expiry, you would have to activate a  Big Data Bundle on your own to get back your unused minutes and data bundles.

     

    8. WILL UNUSED MINUTES/DATA FROM MY CURRENT PLAN ROLLOVER INTO MY NE BIG DATA BUNDLE?

    Yes. Unused minutes/data rolled over from the previous plan will be used first upon activation of the new plan.

     

     

    9. CAN I ACTIVATE MORE THAN ONE BIG DATA BUNDLE AT A TIME?

    No.

     

    10. HOW CAN I CHECK MY BUNDLE MINUTES AND DATA?

    You can check your bundle minutes and data balance by dialing *284# under manage plans or with the MyDigicel App.

     

    11. DO THE BIG DATA PLANS AUTO-RENEW?

    Yes. All plans are auto-renew by default. All auto-renewal/expiry notification messages give you the option to cancel if desired.

     

    12. WILL MY PLAN AUTO-RENEW IF I TOP UP ON THE DAY OF EXPIRY?

    Yes, it will. Plans set for auto-renew will renew on the day it is set to expire, provided you top up with the required credit to pay for the plan before the plan expiring.

     

    13. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT CREDIT TO AUTO RENEW THE PLAN?

    If you do not have sufficient credit at the time the plan is set to expire/auto-renew, the plan will still expire. There is a 24 hour grace period after the plan expires in which you can top up and reactivate the same plan or another plan via *284#.

     

    Please note, during the 24 hour grace period, a plan activation is required via *284# as the plan will NOT auto-renew.

     

    14. WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO ANY UNUSED BUNDLES DURING THE 24 HOUR GRACE PERIOD?

    No. You will not have access to any unused bundles during the grace period. You will only have access to these remaining talk and data once a Big Data bundle is activated within the 24 hour grace period ends.

     

    15. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT CANCEL AUTO-RENEWAL OF MY INITIAL PLAN AND I ACTIVATE ANOTHER BIG DATA BUNDLE?

    If you do not cancel the auto-renewal on your initial plan and purchase another plan, this will not stop the initial plan from auto-renewing if you have sufficient credit.

     

    16. WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BIG DATA BUNDLE EXPIRES AND I CONTINUE TO USE DATA AND MAKE CALLS?

    You'll be charged the PAYGO data rate of $0.31c per MB and applicable out of bundle voice rates.

     

    17. CAN I USE BONUS CREDIT TO SIGN UP FOR ANY OF A BIG DATA BUNDLE?

    The promotion under which bonus credit is given will specify whether or not it can be used to purchase plans.

     

    Social Add-ons

     

    18. WHAT ARE SOCIAL BUNDLE (SWIFT)  ADD-ONS?

    Social Bundle add-ons are plans that are available as an attachment that works simultaneously with the Big Data Bundle. These add-ons become visible to customers once a Big Data bundle is activated.

     

    19. WHAT DO THE SOCIAL BUNDLE ADD-ONS ENTAIL?

    There are 3 Social bundle Add-ons for selection, and each bundle includes the following for the plans duration:

  • Unlimited WhatsApp  (Messenger only)

  • Unlimited  Facebook

  • Unlimited Snapchat

  • Unlimited Instagram

  • Unlimited Twitter

     

    The unlimited SWIFT add-on lasts for the duration of your Big Data bundle. For best value, you should activate at the same time as you Big Data bundle.

     

    20. HOW CAN CUSTOMERS RECEIVE THE SOCIAL ADD-ON?

    The Social add-on is available on the My Digicel App & UMM (*284#). Once a Big Data bundle is activated via any of the activations channels, i.e UMM, My Digicel App, you will receive a text message notifying you that the social bundle add-on is now available for purchase.

     

     

    21. CAN I ACTIVATE MORE THAN ONE SOCIAL ADD-ON PLANS SIMULTANEOUSLY?

    No. Only One Social Add-on plan can be activated at a time.

     

    23. DO THE SOCIAL BUNDLES AUTO-RENEW?

    No. The Social Add-On will not auto-renew as it can only be activated once a Big Data bundle is active.

     

    24. DOES MY DATA ROLLOVER WITH THE SOCIAL ADD-ON?

    Yes. Once a Big Data plan is active, you can reactivate your social bundle and keep your rollover data.

     

     

    Digicel App Data

     

    WHAT IS DIGICEL APP DATA?

    Our 3, 7, and 30-day Big Data bundles come with bonus app data, so that you can enjoy the best Mobile entertainment experience.

     

    WHAT APPS CAN I STREAM WITH MY APP DATA?

     

    You can use your bonus app data to stream content from d’Music and PlayGo. You must have an active app plan subscription to stream content.

     

    HOW DO I ACTIVATE D'MUSIC AND PLAYGO?

    Download the apps free from the Google or Apple app stores.

    Once downloaded, activate a plan subscription of your choosing in MyDigicel.

     

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I USE UP ALL OF MY BONUS APP DATA?

    If you use all of your bonus app data allocation, data will pull from your Big Data bundle. Once that data is exhausted and providing you have adequate credit, you will use PayGo data at $0.31c per Mb.

     

    HOW CAN I CHECK HOW MUCH BONUS APP DATA I HAVE?


    You can check your data balances in MyDigicel.
