1. What is the ‘My World prepaid International plan?

My World Prepaid International Plan is a product which was developed to replace the previous Caribbean plans. These new plans allow prepaid customers to purchase bundled minutes for a weekly/monthly subscription to call internationally – There is currently a 7 day plan and a 30 day plan available as shown in the table below.

2. How does each plan work?

Customers can use a short code to activate the plan, and this will allow them to have minutes to call the following international destinations:

Digicel prefixes in: Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, BVI, Cayman, Curacao, Dominica, FWI (Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, and St Martin), Grenada, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Vincent, Surinam, TCI, and Trinidad. Calls to Jamaica, Haiti and Guyana are NOT part of this plan.

All numbers in USVI, USA, Canada and UK Fixed lines

Fixed lines only in China, Ireland, India, Australia, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, Turkey, Sweden, New Zealand, American Samoa, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile,  China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Vatican City, Venezuela.

3. How does a customer activate a plan?

The plans can be activated by dialing *134# and following the text instructions that will follow or you can download the new My Digicel App and activate at the touch of a button.

Example: To activate MyWorld 7 the customer will need to dial *134#, then *134*20# and then confirm it by dialing *134*1#

4. What does it cost to activate the MyWorld prepaid international plans?

The weekly/monthly cost for the plans are as follows,

  • MyWorld  7 - $15 for 7 days
  • MyWorld 30 - $49 for 30 days

5. How do you check the plan minutes?

Customers can check their available minutes by dialing the respective short code of the plan they are currently on

6. Can a customer activate both plans at once? 

NO. A customer is only able to on one plan at a time.  

7. Which dedicated account will be used for each plan?

The dedicated accounts that will be used for each plan are as follows,

8. Can I purchase more minutes?

Yes. The customer can activate another plan by dialing short code *134*5*selection#

Example: A customer who is on the MyWorld 7 plan would dial *134*5*50# this would extend the plan for another 7 days, charge the customer an additional subscription fee of $15 and add an additional 150 minutes to the dedicated account.

9.  the customer’s minutes have been exhausted and the plan is not renewed, what are the charges for international calls?

Customer will then be charged at the normal international prepaid rates.

10. If a customer does not use all the minutes available can the minutes be used the following week/month? 

No. if in given week or month the customer does not use their plans minutes the minutes will be lost.

11. Will the plan auto renew upon expiry?

Yes. Once the funds are available on the customer’s account, the plan will automatically reactivate.

12. How can I cancel the auto renew cycle?

24hrs before a plan expires all subscribers will receive a SMS indicating that the plan will auto renew on a particular end date and time. The subscriber would have to dial the cancellation code {*134*9*50#} otherwise the auto renewal process will continue.  

E.g. your plan MyWorld 7 expires on 20120815 @ 12:59 and will auto renew. To cancel auto renew dial *134*9*50#. 

13. Is this product for both Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers?

No. This product is available only to prepaid subscribers. Postpaid subscribers will have a separate offer. 

14. Can I choose to cancel at any time?

No. subscribers must allow plan to expire. 

15. Am I able to use the ‘MyWorld Prepaid International Plan’ while roaming?

No. Customers are not able to use the minutes while roaming.
