Tuesday, November 21, 2017 – Road Town, British Virgin Islands: Customers in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) now have a new ‘experience’ in communications, courtesy of Digicel. The total communications and entertainment provider proudly opened the doors to their new retail ‘Experience’ store located at Waterfront Drive, in the heart of Road Town today.
Digicel’s Experience store features a new design for the brand’s retail outlet and as CEO Kevin Gordon noted, “We have introduced ‘Smart Serve’ in our Experience Stores which is an intelligent digital queue and customer flow management system. This will significantly reduce wait times, provide a flexible shopping experience and greatly increase the quality of service we are able to deliver. In addition, it will provide us with intelligence on customer requests, service times and agent performance, so that we can monitor and improve processes.”
Visitors to the experience store on Tuesday, Nov 21, can enjoy a variety of special offers including up to 50% off select smartphones, great discounts on selected handsets and surprise giveaways throughout the day. New postpaid customers can take advantage of a free smartphone and no deposit when they signed up for a postpaid service, while new Home LTE customers can enjoy a free router when they sign up for any Home LTE plan.
As an extra special treat, Digicel’s adopted school, the Althea Scatliffe Primary, will send their brass band to play at the celebration. “Our new Experience Store symbolises Digicel’s commitment to the BVI and our ongoing pledge to build back better. We would love to have our customers check out the new store and the services available to them at their convenience.” finished Gordon.
