Digicel is celebrating our Parents in British Virgin Islands through the “Win $1,000 Weekly Promo” (the “Promotion”). The promotion offers new and existing subscribers a chance to win $1,000 cash throughout the months of May (Mother’s Day) & June (Father’s Day).
These Frequently Asked Questions (“FAQs”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for chances to win prizes. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.
“We” or “us” means Digicel BVI Limited, a company registered under the laws of the British Virgin Islands with registered offices at 5th Floor, Jayla Place Building, Road Town, Tortola. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
“I” or “you” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms incorporate the Digicel Terms of Use and Privacy Policy which you can access via our website.
If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of sixteen (16), you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.
1. What is the Digicel “Win $1,000 Weekly” promotion?
This promotion aims to celebrate our parents in the British Virgin. Digicel is offering new customers a chance to win $1,000 cash throughout the months of May & June by completing any of the activities listed at Item 3 below (“Activities”).
2. What is the promotional period for the Promotion?
The promotion is valid from Friday, April 28th, 2023 12:00:01AM through to Friday, June 23th, 2023 11:59:59PM.
3. Can I take part in the Promotion?
To be eligible for the promotion, new and existing subscribers must meet one of the following activities:
Activities:
1. In order to be eligible for the Promotion, as a new Prepaid customer you must get the DL4+ Pro Smartphone for as low as $89.00 or Samsung A14 for $199.
2. As an existing Prepaid customer you must activate a 30 Day Prime Plus Bundle.
3. As a postpaid customer, sign up for a new Postpaid Prime Plus More Bundle plan priced at $100 with a 12 month contract where you will receive a free Samsung A23 smartphone. A security deposit of $100 will be required.
4. As an existing Postpaid customer, you must pay your bill on time and in full.
The Following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:
a. Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers;
b. Persons under the age 18 years;
c. Digicel Employees and family members.
All the successful transactions, require that you fill a card with the information:

4. How many select handsets am I allowed to purchase within the promotional period?
You will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two handsets under this special offer.
5. Where will the selected smartphones be available for purchase?
Customers can purchase these Hero handsets from any of the below retail locations or through a Direct Sales Agent:
a. Flagship Store, Road Town
b. Virgin Gorda Store, Village Rose
6. How do I sign up for the Handset Promotion?
You may visit any of our Retail Outlets to sign up with an agent or sign up through a Direct Sales Agent or register on our webpage, an agent will contact you in the next 24-48 hours.
7. How the Promotion will be announce?
Winners will be announced every Friday by the Flagship Store in Road Town:
FOR MOTHER’S DAY:
1st – May 12
2nd – May 19
3er – May 26
FOR FATHER’S DAY:
1 st – June 2
2nd – June 9 (16 June, BVI Public Holiday)
3er – June 23
8. What do I need to know about collecting my prize if I am a winner?
a. If you win, Digicel will contact you by telephone.
b. A maximum of three (3) attempts will be made to call you within a period of twenty-four (24) hours.
c. During the telephone call, our Digicel representative will advise you where and how to redeem your prize.
d. Customers have fourteen (14) days after being notified of their winning to collect their prizes. Unclaimed prizes will remain the property of Digicel.
e. You will be required to provide government-issued identification. If you are under the age of eighteen (18) years, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must collect the prize on your behalf, and will be required to provide government-issued identification.
f. You agree that if you are a winner, you will permit photographs of you to be taken and for your image, likeness and name (your “Likeness”) to be used for public relations and marketing purposes free of cost, including the publishing of your Likeness on social media, mainstream media and other platforms that we may choose. If you refuse to do so, you acknowledge that this will result in forfeiture of your right to claim the prize. If you are under the age of eighteen (18) years, your parent or guardian must consent to this on your behalf.
Additional Terms and Conditions
A. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any prizes redeemed through this Promotion.
B. Upon accepting a prize, you will be responsible for reading and accepting any terms and conditions that may be associated with that prize.
C. Digicel makes no representations or warranties as to the working condition of any tangible prize. The warranty information provided by the manufacturer of the prize will apply. Please contact the manufacturer of the prize for more information on the warranty of your prize.
D. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
E. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you, at our discretion.
F. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for claiming and collection of prizes and for connectivity and data usage in relation to your participation in the Promotion.
G. If a prize is unavailable, we may, at our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal value and/or specification.
H. We reserve the right to award any forfeited prize to another participant in the Promotion.
I. Prizes are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for devices or services.
J. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or on our social media pages. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
K. Any personal data relating to you will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by us to assist with running the Promotion on our behalf and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without your prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are selected) and any other purposes to which you have consented. L. Except in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming or collecting any prize.
