The following are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of these bundles:-

 

1.       What are the Quick Pick bundles?

  • The Quick Pick bundles allow you to purchase bundles that include a combination of talk, text and data. These bundles are available to you if you have 2G and 4G compatible devices. Bundles can be activated via the MyDigicel App or by dialing *323# SEND.

  • Anywhere Minutes are applicable to ALL other local (Bmobile and landline) calls, USA (mobile and landline), Canada (mobile and landline), UK landlines only, Venezuela (Telefonica Mobile only) and Digicel Caribbean (excluding Jamaica, Haiti and Guyana) mobile numbers.

  • Digicel’s standard Pay As You Go rates will apply to all calls to destinations not included in Anywhere Minutes and calls that are not to local Digicel numbers.

2.       What countries are considered Digicel Caribbean?

The following are Digicel Caribbean territories:

3.       What is the difference with these new Pick Unlimited Bundles?

  • The new Pick Unlimited bundles will now include unlimited Digicel Local Talk, 30 minutes per day of local (non-Digicel) talk, Unlimited SMS to All Local Mobiles and Unlimited* Local Data.

* Digicel’s Fair Usage Policy applies.  

4.       Are there any Talk only bundles with the Quick Pick or Pick Unlimited Bundles?

  • There are no Talk only bundles with the Quick Pick or Pick Unlimited Bundles. Quick Pick Bundles and Pick Unlimited Bundles now consist of data, talk and text.

  • If you have a 2G device, you can only access the minutes and texts from your Quick Pick Bundle and Pick Unlimited Bundles.

5.       Are there any data only bundles with the Quick Pick Bundles or the Pick Unlimited Bundles?

  • There are no data only bundles with the Quick Pick Bundles or Pick Unlimited Bundles. The Quick Pick Bundles or Pick Unlimited Bundles now consist of data, talk and text.

6.       Is the d’Music Top 40 subscription free with the purchase of the Quick Pick Bundles?

  • Yes; the d’Music Top 40 subscription is free with the purchase of the Quick Pick Bundles.

7.       Is the d’Music Premium subscription free with the purchase of the new Pick Unlimited Bundles?

  • Yes; the d’Music Premium subscription is free with the purchase of the 7 & 30 day Pick Unlimited Bundles. The 1 day Pick Unlimited Bundle comes with d’Music Top 40.

8.       Can I request the Premium d’Music subscription for $65.00 (VAT Inc.)?

  • Yes; you can request the stand alone d’Music subscription with the Quick Pick Bundles.

9.       What are the bundles available under the new Pick Unlimited Bundles?

The following bundles are available under the new Pick Unlimited Bundles:-

  • 1 day bundle
  • 7 day bundle;
  • 30 day bundle

as shown in the table above.

10.    What happens if my data has depleted on the 3 day bundle?

  • If your data has depleted, you must purchase a Quick Pick Bundle or a Pick Unlimited Bundle via *323# or the MyDigicel App.
  • You will also receive a prompt once your data has depleted, where you can choose to either browse Pay As You Go at $1.90 (VAT Ex.) per MB or choose to activate a new bundle.

11.   What happens if I exceed the data allowance under the fair usage policy for the 1 day, 7 day or 30 day Pick Unlimited bundles?

  • If you use more than the data allowance under the fair usage policy with respect to any of these bundles, your data speed will be throttled from Long Term Evolution (“LTE”) speeds to 2G speeds until a new data plan is purchased.

12.   Can I purchase these bundles via the My Digicel App?

  • Yes you can purchase these bundles via the My DigicelApp.

13.   What else can I do using the MyDigicel App?

  • You can change the auto-renewal settings of your active Quick Pick bundles or Pick Unlimited Bundle via the MyDigicel App.

  • You can also view the data and local or international minute balances.

14.    Can I purchase these bundles via plan vouchers?

  • Yes; you can purchase these bundles via plan vouchers.

  • For example you can request a 3-Day Quick Pick bundle voucher and upon activation of the voucher, the bundle will activate.

  • The voucher will add credit to your main account and then activate the bundle.

Note: Digicel Jamaica, Haiti and Guyana numbers are not included in the Bundle minutes.

 

15.   Do the Anywhere Minutes apply to Venezuela Mobiles or landlines or both?

  • The Anywhere Minutes will only apply to Telefonica Mobile in Venezuela.

  • If calling a different provider in Venezuela you will be charged from your prepaid credit.

16.   What happens if I allow my Quick Pick Bundle to expire?

  • If you allow your Quick Pick Bundle to expire, you have up to midnight on the day your bundle expires to activate the same or another Quick Pick Bundle in order to have your unused data or minutes rollover.

17.   Do the Quick Pick Bundles or Pick Unlimited Bundles auto renew?

  • Yes; the Quick Pick Bundle and the Pick Unlimited Bundles will auto renew.

  • You will receive an auto renewal SMS 48 hours and 24 hours before your Bundle expires.

18.    Will my Quick Pick Bundle or Pick Unlimited Bundle auto renew if I top up on the day it is set to expire?

  • Yes; your bundles which are set up to auto renew at time of purchase will auto renew on the day it is set to expire, provided that you top up your account with the required credit to pay for the bundle, prior to its expiration.

19.   What happens if I do not have sufficient credit to auto renew my Bundle?

  • If you do not have sufficient credit at the time the bundle is set to expire/auto renew, the bundle will still expire.

  • There is a grace period after the bundle expires in which you can top up and reactivate the same plan or another Quick Pick bundle via dialing *323#SEND. Any unused bundles (minutes/data) will be stored during the grace period for your future use.

  • Please note that during the grace period you will be required to activate the bundle on your own via dialing *323# SEND as the bundle will NOT auto renew, even if the auto-renewal feature was enabled on the bundle before expiry.

  • Unused minutes or data from your previous bundle will be recovered if your bundle is auto renewed or activated during the grace period.

20.   Will my Quick Pick Bundle auto renew if I top up on the day of expiry?

  • Yes. All Quick Pick bundles are set to auto renew. Provided you top up with the required credit to pay for the bundle, prior to the bundle expiring, your bundle will auto-renew.

21.   Will I have access to any unused minutes or data in my bundle during the grace period?

  • No. You will not have access to any unused minutes and data in your bundle during the grace period since during that time there is no active bundle.

  • You will only regain access to these unused minutes and data in your bundle, once a Quick Pick Bundle is activated before the grace period ends.

  • Please note: During the grace period you will not be blocked from Pay As You Go data charges as there is no active Quick Pick Bundle within that time.

22.   Will my minutes and data rollover with the Quick Pick bundles?

  • Yes; all your unused minutes and data will rollover once you allow the plan to auto renew or if you activate the same or another Quick Pick Bundle before expiry of the grace period. You can therefore benefit from unlimited rollover once you keep a Quick Pick plan active.

  • During the grace period the code *323#SEND must be dialed in order to reactivate the same bundle or a different bundle.

  • If you allow the grace period to expire any unused bundles will be lost and will not rollover.

23.   What happens if my mins or data has depleted?

  • The below add-ons are available once by dialing *323# or visiting the MyDigicel App.

Bundles roll over once the bundle is reactivated within the grace period (midnight on the day your plan expires)

 

24.   What is included in Unlimited Apps Add-on?

  • Unlimited Apps include WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest and do not include video calls. Video calls on Social Apps will use data from your data bundle.

25.   Can I have the current Quick Pick Bundle active and still also purchase one of the new Pick Unlimited bundles?

  • Yes. You can have a current Quick Pick bundle active and still purchase one of the new Pick Unlimited Bundles.

26.   Can I activate more than one of the Quick Pick bundles simultaneously?

  • Yes; you can have more than one of the Quick Pick bundles active simultaneously.

  • E.g. You can activate a 30 day 1GB Quick Pick bundle and on day 28 purchase a 10 day Quick Pick bundle.

  • NB: If you have minutes/data remaining from your current 30 day 1GB Quick Pick bundle by the time the bundle expires, the unused minutes/data will then be rolled over to be used with the 10 day Quick Pick bundle.

27.    Can I activate more than one of the same Quick Pick Bundles simultaneously?

  • Yes; you can activate more than one of the same Quick Pick Bundles simultaneously however, the duration of the bundle does not have to be the same.  E.g. You can activate a 30 day 1GB Quick Pick Bundle and on day 14 you can activate another 30 day 1GB Quick Pick Bundle.

  • If you activate more than one of the same Quick Pick Bundles simultaneously, this will simply extend the time in which you have to use your Quick Pick Bundles as your Quick Pick Bundles will extend to the bundle that expires last.

E.g. You can activate a 10 day Quick Pick Bundle and on day 5 you can also activate another 10 day Quick Pick Bundle. The first 10 day Quick Pick Bundle expires, however if by the end of the first 10 days you still have data or minutes remaining from that bundle, it will be added to the second 10 day Quick Pick Bundle, to be used during that bundle’s remaining period.

28.   How can I check my bundle minutes and data?

  • You can dial *120*83# to view both minutes and data balances.

  • OR
  • You can dial *323#SEND to check your existing bundles.

29.    What happens if I do not cancel the auto renewal of my initial Quick Pick Bundle and choose to activate another Quick Pick Bundle?

  • If you do not cancel the auto-renewal on the initial bundle and purchase another bundle, this will not stop the initial bundle from activating if you have sufficient credit.

30.    What happens when my bundled data in the Quick Pick Bundle is depleted and I attempt to access data?

  • Once you have depleted your bundled data from your Quick Pick Bundle and attempt to access data after this, a prompt message will be received providing options of the Quick Pick Bundles or accessing data at Pay As You Go Rates ($1.90 VAT Ex. per MB). You will NOT have access to data until you have purchased one of the new bundles.

31.    If I access data at Pay As You Go rates and then activate a Quick Pick Bundle, will I still be charged Pay As You Go rates?

  • No; if you access data at Pay As You Go rates and later activate a Quick Pick Bundle plan, the Pay As You Go rates will be stopped.

32.    Can I use bonus credit or Quick Credit to sign up for any of these new Quick Pick Bundles?

  • Yes; you can use quick credit to sign up for any of the Quick Pick Bundles, however bonus credit cannot be used to purchase a Quick Pick Bundle.

33.    What is PlayGo?

  • PlayGo is an online streaming service that allows you access to 17 of the best live local and premium TV channels and more than 3000 options of On Demand content.  

34.   What can I watch on PlayGo?

  • You can watch live sports, top quality TV shows and movies on PlayGo on channels including SportsMax 1 & 2, NBA TV, Fight Sports, Catch & Catch 2 and Revolt TV over the internet.

 

 

35.   Can I stream in HD on PlayGo?

  •  Yes, you can stream in HD on PlayGo.

36.   What is the required internet connection speed?

  • The required internet connection speed is 464 kilobytes per second (kbps). For the best quality, an optimal internet connection speed is required.

37.   What happens if my internet connection speed is not fast enough for PlayGo?

  • If your internet connection speed is not fast enough, PlayGo will adapt to give you the best quality for your internet speed.

38.   Who can use PlayGo?

  • Postpaid Start, Postpaid Core, Postpaid Plus and Prepaid customers can use PlayGo.

39.   What are the PlayGo packages available?

  • The PlayGo packages available are listed in the table below:-

40.   What happens when my 1 Day Pass or Month Pass expires

  • When the 1 Day Pass or the Month Pass is finished, you will no longer have access to PlayGo. To continue streaming content, you will have to activate a new 24 Hours Pass for only $15.00 (VAT Inclusive) or a Month  Pass for $65.00 (VAT Inclusive) via the MyDigicel App or *323#. Once you have purchased either of these passes, any streaming of content on PlayGo will not use the data included in your Quick Pick bundle. You can also choose to use your Quick Pick bundle data to continue enjoying your streaming experience instead of buying one of these passes.

41.   When will the time on my 1 Day Pass start?

  • The time on your 1 Day Pass will start from the point of purchase of the pass.

42.   When will the time on my Month Pass start?

  • The time on your Month Pass will also start from the point of purchase of the pass.

43.   Can I purchase multiple PlayGo packages at the same time?

  • No; you cannot purchase multiple PlayGo packages at the same time.

44.   How often can I purchase a 1 Day Pass?

  • You can purchase a 1 Day Pass every day, once you have an active Quick Pick Bundle. Your 1 Day Pass expires 24 hours after the point of purchase of this pass.

45.   Must I have an active Quick Pick Bundle to be able to access the PlayGo package?

  • Yes, your Quick Pick bundle must be active in order to access the PlayGo package. If your Quick Pick Bundle expires, you will need to purchase another Quick Pick Bundle in order to access the PlayGo package.

46.   Would the data from my Quick Pick Bundle be used to stream PlayGo when I purchase these packages listed above?

  • No. You will be able to stream with no depletion of data from your bundle. For example, if you purchase the 1 Day Pass you will be able to stream for 24 hours without your data being depleted.

47.   If I’m streaming a video and my package expires during the video would the data usage come out my Quick Pick Bundle?

  • Yes, once your PLAYGO package has expired, the data usage from streaming will come out of your existing Quick Pick Bundle. However, you will be notified via a pop up message and an SMS message 5 minutes before your PLAYGO package expires and again at upon expiry of the PLAYGO package. At this point, you will be provided with the option to either purchase another PLAYGO package or continue using your allotted data from your Quick Pick Bundle or use WiFi.

48.   How do I access PlayGo?

  • You can access PlayGo by downloading the app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store. It will be available regardless of who is your current mobile provider. You can also access PlayGo via the Digicel website at http://www.digicelplaygo.com/en/download.html or by visiting the “More Apps” section of the MyDigicel App.

49.   Am I able to use PlayGo with a Wi-Fi connection?

  • Yes, you can use PlayGo with a Wi-Fi connection however, you are required to purchase a PlayGo subscription or to have a Quick Pick Bundle or Postpaid plan active which will give you FREE subscription.

50.   If I’m not on a Quick Pick Bundle, can I access PlayGo?

  • Yes, if you are not on a Quick Pick Bundle you can access PlayGo by signing up for a Postpaid Plan or via the 14 day free subscription trial. Your subscription fee will be waived for the duration of the trial, but your data will be depleted if you are not on Wi-Fi while you are using the PlayGo app. After your trial has expired, you will have to pay a subscription fee of $65.00 per month to have access to the PlayGo app for 30 days.

51.   What channels can I watch as part of the free subscription trial?

  • During the free trial period you will have access to all content available on Play Go as stated above.

52.   What countries can I access PlayGo in?

  • PlayGo is available across the Caribbean and Central America in Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Panama, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks and Caicos.

53.   How long does my subscription last with my PlayGo package?

  • Once you are on an active Quick Pick Bundle, your subscription will last for the duration of your applicable PlayGo package. If you are not in a Quick Pick Bundle or Postpaid plan, you can access PlayGo when you purchase a 30 day subscription at the price stated above.

54.   What devices can I use to stream PlayGo?

  • You can use your Android Phone, iPhone, iPad and Android tablets to stream PlayGo.

55.   What is the minimum requirement for my devices to be able to access PlayGo?

  • The minimum requirements for your devices to be able to access PlayGo are listed below:-

-Android Devices - Android OS 4.1 and above

-Apple iOS Devices for iPad and iPhone - iOS 8.0 and above

-Not sure what version you’re running?  Check your ‘Settings’.

NB. If your device was purchased within the last three (3) years it should be compatible with the PlayGo app. If you are not sure what version of Operating System you have, you can check it under “Settings” at “About device” for Android devices and for Iphone devices you can check it under “Settings” at “General” and “About”.

 

56.   How do I use PlayGo on my computer or laptop?

  •  You can use PlayGo on your computer or laptop by typing www.digicelplaygo.com in your browser and clicking on the direct download link and follow the setup instructions.

57.   I don’t have a Digicel ID, what do I do?

  • If you do not have a Digicel ID, click on the ‘Register’ option in the PlayGo app and follow the instructions. Connect with your Digicel ID/Sign Up for Digicel ID. If you use the mobile data network to access PlayGo, you will be automatically signed into the app.

58.   As I am already a Digicel Home & Entertainment customer, can I use PlayGo?

  • Yes, you can use PlayGo if you are already a Digicel Home & Entertainment customer. You will have to download the app in the Google Play Store or the Apple Store and activate any one of our Quick Pick Bundles, Postpaid plans or a PlayGo subscription.

59.   How many devices can I use the PlayGo app on at the same time?

  • You can connect as many devices as you wish.  However, you will only be able to watch TV on one of the devices at a time, so keep this in mind if you plan to share an account with your household. If you try several times to watch TV, it will result in an error message stating that you are “Unable to login. Too many connections”. Once received, you are required to end any other active session and retry your login.

60.   Can I use PlayGo when I travel?

  • Yes; you can use PlayGo when you travel. However, you will only be able to access it via a Wi-Fi connection. Your PlayGo package on a mobile network connection will only be accessible in the country where you subscribed to it. It will not work while you are roaming in another country.

61.   How will I know when to renew my subscription?

  • We will let you know when it’s close to the end of your subscription. Two notifications will be sent as reminders via Flash SMS and SMS. The first reminder will be sent once you have 5 minutes remaining and the second notification will be sent once there is 0 minutes remaining.

62.   Can I download content on the PlayGo app to watch later?

  • No; you cannot download content on the PlayGo app to watch later. Currently, content is only available to watch live.

63.   What content can I view as part of the PlayGo app?

  • You will have access to all the live channels and On Demand content available on the PlayGo app.  

64.   Can I connect my PlayGo Stream to a SmartTV?

  • Yes, you can. You can connect your PlayGo via an HDMI cable as well as from your mobile device. This will be dependent on the handset type e.g. Samsung S5 has a feature called Screen mirror which displays images, video and audio that is on the phone, on your Smart TV.

65.   Will Pay As You Go charges start automatically when my data from my bundle depletes during a streaming session?

  • No; it will not start automatically. If your Month Pass or 1 Day Pass has expired and you are not in a Wi-Fi area, you will be charged Pay As You Go data at $1.90 VAT inc. per MB. Please note that you will be notified before Pay As You Go is activated and we will require your approval before proceeding.

66.   Additional Terms and Conditions

  • The Quick Pick Bundles and Pick Unlimited Bundles are offered for the personal use of individuals and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of the particular package.

  • Digicel reserves the right to terminate the Quick Pick Bundles and/or the Pick Unlimited Bundles forthwith if in its sole opinion the bundles are being abused.

  • Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) these bundles being offered to its customer at its discretion.

  • Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without the notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its Quick Pick Bundles and Pick Unlimited Bundles. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the terms and conditions of the bundles, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.

  • Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of the USSD code from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.

  • Subject to the above, the standard Prepaid terms and conditions and Digicel’s Fair Usage Policy shall apply.
