Prepaid Unlimited Plans

 

The following are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of these plans:-

1.       What are the prepaid plans?

The following are Digicel's prepaid plans together with their features:

NOTE:       Local Digicel numbers include numbers that have been ported from other local networks and are now on Digicel’s network.

2.      If I make a non-local call, how will I be charged?

  • You will be charged at Digicel’s prepaid Pay As You Rates Go rates if you make a non-local call. Please click here to view our prepaid Pay As You Rates Go rates; OR
  • You can purchase the following Anywhere Minutes Add-On for calls to certain non-local destinations by dialing *323# or visiting the My Digicel App

Please note the following:

  • Once any of the prepaid plans is active, an Add-On can be purchased.
  • For Prepaid Plans with Unlimited Data, the Anywhere Minutes Add-On will expire when the current plan expires.
  • For Prepaid Plans with Rollover Minutes and Data, any unused minutes from your Anywhere Minutes Add On will roll over for a maximum of a further 30 days whereupon they will expire.

3.      What are Anywhere Minutes?

  • Anywhere Minutes are minutes that can be used for calls to local non-Digicel mobiles, local non-Digicel landlines, USA (mobiles and landlines), Canada (mobiles and landlines), UK landlines only, Venezuela (Telefonica Mobile only) and Digicel Caribbean (excluding Jamaica, Haiti and Guyana) mobiles.

4.      Do the Anywhere Minutes apply to Venezuela Mobiles or landlines or both?

  • The Anywhere Minutes will only apply to Telefonica Mobile in Venezuela.
  • If calling a different provider in Venezuela you will be charged at Digicel’s prepaid Pay As You Go rates.

5.      What countries are considered Digicel Caribbean?

The following are Digicel Caribbean territories:

  • Anguilla
  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Aruba
  • Barbados
  • Bermuda
  • Bonaire
  • British Virgin Islands
  • Cayman Islands
  • Curacao
  • Dominica
  • French Guiana
  • Grenada
  • Guadeloupe
  • Martinique
  • St. Kitts
  • St. Lucia
  • St. Vincent and Grenadines
  • Turks and Caicos   

6.       If I have a Prepaid Plan with Unlimited Data, what happens when my LTE data is depleted?

  • For the Prepaid Plans with Unlimited Data, when you have depleted your allocation of LTE data, your data speeds will be throttled from LTE speeds to 2G speeds. If you need additional data at LTE speeds, you can purchase a Data Add On. Any unused data from your Data Add On will not roll over and expires at the end of your current plan.

7.      If I have a Prepaid Plan with Rollover Minutes and Data, what happens when my LTE data is depleted?

  • For the Prepaid Plans with Rollover Minutes and Data ONLY bundle plans, when you have depleted your allocation of LTE data,  you will be charged the Pay As You Go Rate of $1.90 MB (VAT Exclusive) for any additional data used, unless you purchase a Data Add On. Any unused data from your Data Add On will roll over for a maximum of a further 30 days whereupon it will expire.

8.      What are the Data Add Ons which are available for purchase?

  • The following Data Add Ons are available for purchase by dialing *323# or visiting the My Digicel App:

Please note that you must have an active prepaid plan in order to purchase an Add On.

9.        If I am on either a 1 Day, 3 Day, 10 Day or 30 Day 15GB Prepaid Plan with Unlimited Data, which calls qualify for 30 minutes of free calls per day?

  • All local calls which are not calls to local Digicel mobiles and local Digicel landlines will qualify, that is, calls to local non-Digicel landline numbers, local non-Digicel mobile numbers and local toll free numbers.
  • Once you have depleted your 30 minutes of free calls for the day, you will be charged at Digicel’s prepaid Pay As You Go rates or you can purchase an Anywhere Minutes Add-On. Please click here to view our prepaid Pay As You Rates Go rates.

10.      If I have a Prepaid Plan with Rollover Minutes and Data, for how long will rollover minutes and rollover data be valid?

  • Rollover minutes and rollover data will only be valid for a maximum of a further 30 days whereupon they will expire.

11.      Can I use any of these plans whilst roaming?

  • No. You will only be able to use these plans when you are in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.  You can purchase one of Digicel’s roaming plans when roaming. Please click here for information on our roaming plans.

12.      Are there any Extras (e.g. d’Music, PlayGo) with these plans?

  • No.  d’Music and PlayGo are not included with these plans. However, these Extras can be purchased by dialing *323# or visiting the My Digicel App.

13.      What is Digicel’s d’Music App?

  • d’Music is Digicel’s music app which is exclusively for Digicel customers. This cool mobile music app allows you to listen to and download over 30 million tracks from all genres of music including the latest local and international content from your favourite artistes
  • d’Music is:

    Allows track download in offline mode

    Available on Wi-Fi

14.  What is PlayGo?

  • PlayGo is an online streaming service that allows you access to 17 of the best live local and premium TV channels and more than 3000 options of On Demand content.

15.  Do these prepaid plans auto renew?

  • Yes; all these prepaid plans, except the 1 day Prepaid Plan with Unlimited Data, will auto renew.
  • You will receive an auto renewal SMS 48 hours and 24 hours before your plan expires.

16.  Will my prepaid plan auto renew if I top up on the day it is set to expire?

  • Yes; your plan which is set up to auto renew at time of purchase, will auto renew on the day it is set to expire, provided that you top up your account with the required credit to pay for the plan, prior to its expiration.

17.  Additional Terms and Conditions

  • These plans are offered for the personal use of individuals and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of the particular plan.
  • Digicel reserves the right to terminate the plans forthwith if in its sole opinion the plans are being abused.
  • Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) these plans being offered to its customer at its discretion.
  • Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its prepaid plans. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the terms and conditions of the plans, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
  • Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of the USSD code or the My Digicel App from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.
  • Subject to the above, the standard Prepaid Terms and Conditions apply.
