Terms and Conditions

The following are the Terms and Conditions governing access to D’Music:

1.      What is D’Music?

  • D’Music is a digital streaming music service that features a catalogue of over 40 million songs that you may stream, listen to or download.
  • D’Music is available as a mobile app on Android and iOS devices through their respective app store or the web platform: www.digicelmusic.com.

2.      What are the D’Music plans?

  • The D’Music plans (“Plans”) allow Digicel prepaid and postpaid mobile customers to gain access to an array of music content available on the D’Music app (“App”).

3.      Who can activate D’Music Plans?

  • All Digicel mobile prepaid and post-paid customers are able to activate a D’Music Plan.

4.      How can I activate a D’Music Plan?

  • As a Digicel post-paid or prepaid mobile customer, you can activate the D’Music Plans by dialling *323# or via MyDigicel App
  • After accessing the MyDigicel App, you can select ‘Menu’ then ‘Plans’ to view available D’Music Plans.
  • You must subscribe to a D’Music Plan before being able to access the D’Music App.
  • Once you log into the D’Music App without an active D’Music Plan, a prompt will be displayed on screen advising that there is no active plan and at this point the available D’Music Plans will also be displayed.

5.      How does D’Music work?

  • With a D’Music Plan, you are able to stream content in the D’Music App by activating one of the available D’Music Plans.

6.      What is the D’Music free month of service offer?

  • This is an offer for new Digicel D’Music customers who sign in to the App. 
  • As a new D’Music customer, once you sign in to the App, you will:
    • get instant FREE access to the D’Music Premium Plan for a period of one month from signing in to the App (“Trial Period”);
    • You will not be charged during the Trial Period, and you can cancel at any time.
  • After the Trial Period, you will be automatically charged the standard monthly fee for the D’Music Premium Plan.

7.      What are the D’Music Plans that will be available?

  • The following are the D’Music Plans that can be purchased as an Add On by Digicel mobile customers:

8.      Is any D’Music plan included free with any postpaid plans?

9.      What type of music can I access on the App?

  • The App provides access to a large catalogue of music from all genres including Soca, R&B, Pop, Reggae, Dancehall and Gospel.

10.   Am I able to download tracks/music using this App?

  • Yes. The service allows downloading of music content that can be stored for offline listening.

11.   Do I need a data plan to stream on D’Music?

  • As our D’Music Plans only provide access to the App, in order to stream on the App, you will need a data plan or you can stream using Wi-Fi. 

12.   Can I use D’Music via Wi-Fi?

  • Yes. The service is accessible over Wi-Fi once you have a D’Music Plan active. You can also utilize the OFFLINE feature which allows you to listen to songs you have downloaded without needing any internet connection.

13.   As a prepaid customer, will my D’Music Plan auto-renew?

  • Yes. The Plan will auto-renew once there is sufficient credit on your account available. A confirmation message will be received once the D’ Music Plan is successfully renewed.

14.   As a prepaid customer, can I purchase another D’Music Plan before my existing D’Music Plan expires?

  • Yes, you can purchase another D’Music Plan any time before your existing D’Music Plan expires.  However, the original D’Music Plan will expire at the point of purchase of the new D’Music Plan and the new D’Music Plan will be valid for 30 days from the point of purchase.

15.   Will I be able to cancel the D’Music Plan?

  • Yes. You may cancel the Plan via the MyDigicel app or by dialing *323#

16.   Additional Terms and Conditions

A.     These Plans are offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.

B.     You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App.

C.     We reserve the right to terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Plans are being abused or access to the App is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to reselling or attempts to resell the content on the App, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.

D.     We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), these Plans being offered to you at our discretion.

E.     We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of these Plans. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Plans, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App or the MyDigicel app. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by any other terms and conditions of use for any of our other services including the terms and condition for Digicel’s prepaid or postpaid mobile telephone and data services and the terms and conditions for the App.
