The following are the Frequently Asked Questions on the use of this Promotion:

1.    What is the 123 Unlimited Promotion about?

This promotion allows you to receive a cheaper rate for voice calls. From Monday 6th November, 2017 to Monday 13th November, 2017 (“Promotion Period”) you will get unlimited talk per call for one flat rate. The flat rate for calls will be according to the destination.

 

2.    Who is this promotion applicable to?

This promotion is applicable to prepaid Pay As You Go customers only. If you are on a Quick Pick Bundle and your bundle expires, you will be automatically included in the 123 Unlimited Promotion.

 

3.    Do I have to opt in to this 123 Unlimited Promotion?

No; opt in is not required for this 123 Unlimited Promotion.

 

4.    What are the rates that apply to this Promotion?

For the duration of the Promotion Period, you will benefit from the rates below:-

  • $1 per call, for calls Digicel to Digicel mobile & landline.
  • $2 per call for calls to other local networks (mobile & landline).
  • $3 per call for calls to US, CANADA & India mobile and landline, UK landline only and Digicel non-local numbers* (mobile & landline).
  • $3 per minute for calls to Rest of the World** (mobile & landline-including any network in Jamaica, Haiti & Guyana).  
  • $9 per minute for calls to Cuba, Antarctica etc. *** (mobile & landline).
  • 50 cents per SMS to Local and International messages.

     * Digicel non-local numbers mean calls to Digicel numbers in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman, Curacao, Dominica, El Salvador, French Guiana, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Panama, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Turks and Caicos.

     ** Rest of the World include calls to countries other than Digicel local mobile & landline, calls to other Local networks (mobile & landline) and calls to Group 1 (US, Canada & India    (mobile & landline), UK landline only and calls to Digicel non-local numbers * (mobile & landline).

     *** Group 3 countries mean mobile & landline calls to Antarctica, Ascension, Cook Islands, Cuba, Falkland Islands, Guinea Bissau, Honduras, Saint Helena Sao Tome & Principe, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

 

5.    Are the calls to the countries listed in Groups 1, 2 and 3 include calls to mobile and landline numbers?

Yes; the calls to the countries listed in Groups 1, 2 and 3 include calls to mobile and landline numbers.

 

6.    What are the other countries included in Group 3 in the 123 Unlimited Promotion?

The other countries in Group 3 are Ascension, Cook Islands, Falkland Islands, Guinea Bissau, Honduras, Saint Helena, Sao Tome & Principe, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

 

7.    What are the “Rest of the World” countries included in Group 2 in the 123 Unlimited Promotion?

The “Rest of the World” countries are classified as any country that is not included as a calling destination for “Anywhere Minutes”. Destinations for Anywhere Minutes include the following:

 

  • Local networks (mobile & landline) numbers
  • US mobile & landline numbers
  • Canada mobile & landline numbers
  • UK landline numbers only
  • Digicel non-local numbers (as stated at * in the table above)

 

8.    If I have a Quick Pick Bundle and my Anywhere Minutes Bundle is depleted, will I benefit from this new 123 Unlimited Promotion?

Yes; once your Anywhere Minutes Bundle is depleted, you will benefit from the new 123 Unlimited Promotion during the Promotion Period.

 

9.    What will happen if I call a Digicel number that is roaming during the Promotion Period?

The 123 Unlimited Promotion would still apply if that call is made from Trinidad and Tobago during the Promotion Period.

 

10.  What will happen if I call a local number (mobile and/or landline) in Trinidad & Tobago while I am roaming during the Promotion Period?

The 123 Unlimited Promotion will not apply if you call a local number (mobile and/or landline) in Trinidad & Tobago while you are roaming.

 

11.  Under this Promotion will I be charged if I call a local mobile number and I get voicemail?

Yes; once your call is successfully connected, you will be charged for the cost of the call.

 

12.  How am I charged when I make a three-way or conference call?

You will be charged in accordance with the promotion details for every number that is added to your conference call.

 

13.  Are any voice/video Apps, such as WhatsApp, Skype etc. applicable to this 123 Unlimited Promotion?

No; there are no voice/video Apps applicable to this 123 Unlimited Promotion.

 

14.  If I am making a WhatsApp call, will I be charged for Pay As You Go data as well as the cost of the call?

If you have a Quick Pick Bundle active, you will be charged from your data bundle. Once this bundle has been depleted & you make a WhatsApp call, you will only be charged at the Pay As You Go Rate for data of $2.25/MB.

 

15.  Is there a fair usage policy associated with this 123 Unlimited Promotion?

Yes; the fair usage policy is 4 hours per call for the 123 Unlimited Promotion.

 

16.  Is Pay As You Go (PAYGO) data blocked with the 123 Unlimited Promotion?

No; PAYGO data is not blocked with this 123 Unlimited Promotion.

 

17.  If I make a WhatsApp call on WiFi, will I be charged?

No; if you make a WhatsApp call on WiFi, you will not be charged.

 

18.  If I have Bonus Credit, Credit Swap or More Credit, where will my credit be charged from first, these bundles or my main account credit from the 123 Unlimited Promotion?

If you have Bonus Credit, Credit Swap or More Credit, you will be charged from these bundles first. After they are depleted, you will be charged based on the 123 Unlimited Promotion.

 

19.  Will I be charged for my SMS from the 123 Unlimited Promotion if I have the unlimited SMS on a Quick Pick Bundle?

No; you will not. If you are on a Quick Pick Bundle, you will receive unlimited SMS with your bundle. This promotion applies to Pay As You Go users only.

 

20.  If I have a Quick Pick Bundle active with Anywhere Minutes, how will I be charged when I make a local call with the new 123 Unlimited Promotion?

If you have a Quick Pick Bundle active with Anywhere Minutes, you will be charged from this bundle. If your bundle expires, then you will be charged according to the new 123 Unlimited Promotion.

 

21.  If I have insufficient funds and I attempt to make a call based on the 123 Unlimited Promotion, will my current credit be affected when I opt out of the Promotion?

No; your current credit will be unaffected when you opt of the 123 Unlimited Promotion. There is no charge for opting out of this Promotion.

 

22.  Can I opt out of this 123 Unlimited Promotion?

Yes; you can opt out of the 123 Unlimited Promotion by dialing *123#. Once you opt out, you will be placed on the existing Pay As You Go rates.

 

23.  How can I opt out of this 123 Unlimited Promotion?

You can opt out via one of the following methods:-

  • Dial *123#;
  • Dial *323#; or
  • MyDigicel App

 

24.  Can I opt back in to the 123 Unlimited Promotion?

No; you will not be able to opt back in during the Promotion Period.

 

25.  Is there an info code for this promotion?

Yes, there is. You can text 428 to 247 to get more information on this promotion.

 

26.  Additional Terms and Conditions

  • The 123 Unlimited Promotion is offered for the personal use of individuals and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of this promotion.
  • Digicel reserves the right to terminate your use of the 123 Unlimited Promotion forthwith without notice if in its sole opinion the promotion is being abused by you.
  • Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) the 123 Unlimited Promotion being offered to its customer at its discretion.
  • Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without the notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its 123 Unlimited Promotion. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the 123 Unlimited Promotion, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
  • Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of a USSD code from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.
  • Subject to the above, the standard Prepaid terms and conditions shall apply.
