Please ensure that data services are enabled on handset. Always do a manual search for relevant roaming partners.
Restart: A restart is fundamental while roaming as it allows your handset to attempt registering on a network which assists with troubleshooting if need be. When you return home, a restart is also important seeing that your phone is still registered on a foreign network. Calls going to voicemail will incur charges where necessary in cases like these.
Voicemail: In cases where incoming calls are charged, voicemail depositing and retrieval will also incur charges. To access voicemail while roaming dial +18683500000.
N.B. Voicemail is not applicable to the One Rate Roaming plan*
Escalations: If in need of assistance there are a few things that we will like to know in order to efficiently assist in a timely manner:
• Location: with so many varying factors troubleshooting may be pinpointed to the specific area in which you are located
• Error message/Synopsis of issue: a brief detailed description goes a long way in resolving any issues affecting roaming services
• Alternative contact
APN: Using data on your mobile device while roaming requires the correct APN Address on your handset along with “Mobile Data” and “Data Roaming” options to be selected. The correct APN is “web.digiceltt.com”. Always verify this information is correct to ensure connection to a partner’s data network.
Dialing Format: Customers should always ensure that the correct international dialing format is used for each call being made while roaming. To call home “+1868” must be in-front of the 7 digit number. To call the US “+1” must be placed in front the 10 digit number
