1.   What is Digicel Online Bill Pay?

Digicel Online Bill Pay is a service provided by Digicel to our Postpaid customers, whereby Postpaid customers can now pay their monthly bill online via a credit card, in a safe and secure environment, without having to go to a store.

 

2.   What can customers pay for with Digicel Online Bill Pay?

Customers can pay their Digicel Postpaid bills using their credit card. They must have either a Visa or a MasterCard credit card for payments to be processed, since these are the only type of credit cards supported.

 

3.   Who can sign up for Digicel Online Bill Pay?

Any individual who has an existing Postpaid account with Digicel (Trinidad &Tobago) Limited can sign up for Digicel Online Bill Pay.

 

4.   What do customers need to access Digicel Online Bill Pay website?

  • A PC or a mobile device with a secure internet connection
  • Current Postpaid account
  • a valid Visa or Mastercard credit card
  • Valid email address

 

5.   Can anyone access customers’ credit card information?

Only customers can access their credit card information. Digicel does not store these details and no one at Digicel will be able to access customers’ credit card details and/or balances.

Customers are reminded to keep secure their username and password for accessing the Digicel Online Bill Pay website. Under NO circumstances should they reveal their password to anyone or any organization including Digicel’s employees. If a customer believes their password has been compromised, they should change it immediately.

 

6.   Will the information gathered by Digicel be kept confidential?

In keeping with Digicel’s policy on customer confidentiality, all customer information submitted to us through the internet will be maintained with the strictest confidence. We will not disclose any customer information unless specifically authorized in writing by you to do so, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

 

7.   What type of transactions can customers perform using Digicel Online Bill Pay?

  • View their Postpaid account balance
  • Make partial and/or full payments to their Postpaid account
  • Check transaction log for payments made.     

 

8.   What types of accounts can customers use to pay their Digicel bill?

 

Customers can use any Visa or Mastercard credit card registered in their name. These cards must be in the same name as registered on their Digicel Online Bill Pay account.

 

9.   How can customers register for Digicel Online Bill Pay?

Go to website https://billpaynow.digicelgroup.com:8080/bill-pay-now/

1.   Click on “Register”

2.   Click on “Create Account”

3.   Enter information on the registration form.

  • Email
  • Password
  • Confirm password
  • Digicel Postpaid mobile number
  • Address #1
  • Address #2 (Optional)
  • City
  • Validation Code

4.   Your password:

  • Should contain a minimum of 8 characters
  • Must not have spaces
  • Must be a combination of letters, numbers and special characters (e.g. !,@,#,*,%,^,+ )

5.   You must also accept the Terms and Conditions of Digicel Online Bill Pay to successfully register.

6.   Once all required information has been completed on the form you can click ”Register.”

7.   After signing up, you must click the confirmation link that will be sent to the email that was registered with the account.

8.   Once a successful sign up has been completed, you will be prompted to add a Digicel Postpaid number to the account.

9.   Once a Digicel Postpaid number has been submitted, a verification code will be sent to the number via SMS.

10.  Once you have entered the verification code on Digicel Online Bill Pay website, you can continue to make a payment to that number once a credit card has been registered to the account.

 

10.       Are there any fees attached to this service?

The service is free for Digicel Postpaid customers.

 

11.       How long do the payments take to reflect?

Your Digicel Postpaid account will be credited within 24 hours of your transaction.

 

12.       Can a customer’s payment transaction be rejected?

  • Yes, your payment transaction can be rejected if you do not have a valid Visa or Mastercard credit card.

 

13.       Can a customer change their password?

Yes. They can change their password by clicking on their email address, located just below the menu bar at the top left corner of the screen. This will direct them to the “My Account” page, where they can change their password.

 

14.       What should a customer do if they forget their password?

If you forget your password, you can click on the "Click Here" link on the login page and enter the email address you used to register. A new password will be emailed to you.

You can then use this password to log in. You must change your password by clicking on your email address in the top left corner of the page.

 

15.       How do customers login to Digicel Online Bill Pay?

  • Click on “Login” on the home screen of Digicel Online Bill Pay.
  • Enter your email address and the password you provided at registration

 

16.       Can I view my Digicel Postpaid bill details via Digicel Online Bill Pay?

No, to view you Digicel Postpaid bill details online, go to www.digiceltt.com and click on “Online Bill View”, under “Quick View” 

 

17.        How can a customer add another Digicel Postpaid number to their Digicel Online Bill Pay account?

 

With Digicel Online Bill Pay, customers can make payments to multiple Digicel Postpaid numbers at once. To add another Digicel Postpaid number simply:

  • Click “Mobile Numbers” under the “My Accounts”
  • Enter the Digicel Postpaid mobile number in the space provided.
  • An SMS will be sent to the mobile number with a validation code. This code must be entered in the space provided. Once entered, payments can then be made to that number.

 

18.       If a customer navigated away from the page before they could enter the validation code, can they re-enter the validation code?

  • Yes, click on “Enter Validation Code” on the “My Accounts” tab
  • Select the mobile number from the drop down list
  • Enter the validation code from the SMS.

19.       How will I know if the payment has been reflected on the Digicel Postpaid account?

The system will generate a receipt with a reference number to confirm that the payment has been made. The receipt number will be sent via email to the customer.

Once the payment has been fully processed, customers will receive an email and SMS from Digicel confirming that payment has been updated to their Digicel Postpaid account. 

 

20.       How do I make a payment?

1.   Click on the Payments tab

2.   The amount due for each registered Digicel Postpaid mobile number will be displayed

3.   Enter the payment amount in the space provided

4.   Enter credit card details in the spaces provided:

  • Card Type
  • Card Holder Name
  • Credit Card Number
  • Expiry Date (MM/YY)
  • Telephone Contact
  • Address #1
  • Address #2 (Optional)
  • City
  • Country

5.   Click “Pay Now”

6.   You will receive an email with payment details from Digicel, indicating that the payment has been sent for processing.

7.   Once the payment has been processed you will receive an SMS from Digicel indicating your Digicel Postpaid account has been updated

8.   If a customer’s payment transaction displays “Processing” the customer should not attempt a second transaction as this may result in duplicate payments. The customer should check their email for receipt of transaction.

9.   Customers are reminded that payments take 24 hours to be applied to their Digicel Postpaid account.

 

21.       Can I see a record of the payments made on my account?

Yes, you can click on the “History” tab.

 

22.       What happens if my payment does not go through?

In the instance that any issues occur concerning this Digicel Online Bill Pay website or the customer’s payment, the query should be escalated by the customer using the highlighted link to contact “system administrator” as seen in screenshot below.

The customer should contact their bank as well to verify if the charges were applied and if the issue occurred with the bank.

 

23.       What happens after my payment is successful?

A receipt will be displayed on the screen indicating that the payment was successful. Also, an email and SMS will be sent to the customer shortly after the payment is successful.

 

24.       Conditions of Use

  • To the extent permitted by law, Digicel reserves the right to amend or unilaterally change any of the above terms and conditions subject to notifying customers of such amendments. Such notification may be by way of text message, advertisement in the national media and/or our website. If after notice of amendment the Digicel service is used (whether by making an online payment or otherwise), then the amendment shall be deemed as accepted.
