DIGICEL PREYSAL CRICKET COACHING SCHOOL 2015 LAUNCHES
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2015 – PORT-OF-SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO: Eager to succeed, a total of 75 budding cricketers along with 24 coaches came out at the Inshan Ali Park, Preysal for the launch of the Digicel Preysal Cricket Coaching School on October 3.
The coaching school which will run for 12 weeks was welcomed by Chairman of the Preysal Coaching School Tony Harford, Vice President of the Preysal Coaching School Manzur Baksh, Head coach of the Preysal Cricket School Prakash Sookhai and a representative of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board.
This year the school will be doing two trips to visit to the Queen's Park Oval museum and to play matches with other coaching as part of their developmental programme.
Running since 1998, this programme aims to create well-rounded cricketers who can compete at the highest levels. For the past seven years, Digicel has supported the noble goals of the programme - providing funding and uniforms for the children while helping to creating the necessary atmosphere for cricket development.
