THURSDAY, OCTOBER 01, 2015 – PORT-OF-SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO:  On Friday, September 25 players from the Special Olympics of Trinidad and Tobago (SOTT) National Basketball team and the Digicel Jumpstart Basketball Clinic showcased their talent in a #PlayUnified game that took place at the UWI SPEC.

Copping the bronze medal in their category at this year’s Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles, USA, the SOTT athletes played side by side with the young recruits of the all-new Jumpstart Basketball Clinic, that was launched this year in collaboration with the National Basketball Federation of Trinidad and Tobago (NBFTT) and Digicel to promote basketball in T&T and in the Caribbean.

Throughout the game, the integrated teams had the opportunity to receive shooting and passing pointers by NBA coach Troy Justice.
