The Digicel Trinidad and Tobago Foundation is a non-profit organization that was formally established in July 2012. With a focus on community development and advancement of persons with special needs, our mandate is to partner with implementing agencies, provide funding for developmental projects and to become directly involved in the execution of each project. With an investment of US$3 million, over the past five years, the Foundation has funded over 300 projects impacting over 88,000 persons.
In March 2016, the Digicel Foundation launched a new community initiative entitled – EPIC - Extraordinary Projects Impacting Communities. EPIC aims to deliver a series of small scale community-based projects that have the potential to enhance indoor and outdoor spaces and contribute toward the development of communities throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
All approved projects must be implemented with 6-8 weeks. Only registered Community-Based, Faith-Based and Non-Governmental Organisations can apply for the US$5,000 grant funding. We encourage partnerships with other Civil Society Organisations, Corporate entities and Government agencies.
