These Digicel My First Bundle Promotion (the “Promotion”) terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion during the period from 25th November, 2022 to 31st December, 2022 (the “Promotional Period”). You should read these Terms carefully before participating.
“We” or “us” means Digicel (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited, a company registered under the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with registered offices at 11C Maraval Road, Port of Spain, Trinidad. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
“I” or “you” means the person participating in the Promotion, and the parent or legal guardian of the child who will benefit from your participation in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms incorporate our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy which you can access via our website.
If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms or if you are under the age of eighteen (18), you should not participate in the Promotion.
1. What is the Digicel “My First Bundle” Promotion?
The Digicel My First Bundle Promotion is a limited promotional offering whereby existing prepaid and post-paid customers who participate in the Promotion will be allowed to purchase discounted handsets and bundles for their child who is under the age of (16) sixteen (“Child”) and receive applicable benefits accordingly (collectively called the “Offers”).
2. What are the Offers?
There are two (2) Offers included in this Promotion:
i. My First Smartphone Bundle – existing Digicel mobile customers, who purchase a DL4 Long Term Evolution (“LTE”) handset for their Child, will receive that handset at a discounted price of $479.00 (VAT inclusive) bundled with a free SIM card and 3 months free prepaid service of the My First Bundle.
ii. My First Bundle – existing Digicel mobile prepaid customers can gift a 30 day or 3 month My First Bundle via the plan gifting options on *323# or My Digicel App to their Child.
3. What does the 30 day My First Bundle give?
The 30 day My First Bundle gives the following:
i. 1GB LTE data for thirty (30) days;
ii. 1GB gaming data for thirty (30) days. The gaming data applies only to the following games: Freefire, Call of Duty, Clash of Clans, Roblox and PUBG.
iii. Thirty (30) minutes of free voice calls per day to parent/guardian number paired to the number for the Child.
4. What does the 3 month My First Bundle give?
The 3 month My First Bundle gives the following:
i. 1GB LTE data every thirty (30) days;
ii. 1GB gaming data every thirty (30) days. The gaming data applies only to the following games: Freefire, Call of Duty, Clash of Clans, Roblox and PUBG.
iii. Thirty (30) minutes of free voice calls per day to parent/guardian number paired to the number for the Child.
5. When does the Promotion start and end?
The Promotion is valid from 25th November, 2022 to 31st December, 2022. (the “Promotional Period”).
6. Who can participate in the Promotion?
a. Parents/legal guardians who are Digicel mobile prepaid and/or post-paid customers; and
b. Their respective Child.
The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:
a. Customers with Postpaid corporate accounts;
b. Postpaid customers with overdue amounts or inactive accounts.
7. How do I participate in the Promotion?
Follow these steps to participate in the Promotion:
My First Smartphone Bundle Offer:
Step 1: Visit a Digicel store or the MyDigicel App;
Step 2: Complete the Digicel My First Bundle Promotion Participation & Consent Form;
Step 3: Purchase the discounted mobile device for your Child;
Step 4: A Digicel representative will assist with placing a SIM card into the purchased handset, activating the 3 months of free service and pairing your Child’s assigned number with yours to allow the 30 minutes of daily free calls.
My First Bundle Offer:
Step 1: Go to gifting menu either via *323# or My Digicel App;
Step 2: Select and gift the My First Bundle option you want to your Child;
Step 3: The My First Bundle will activate on your Child’s assigned number that you want to pair to your number;
Step 4: Your Child will receive instructions to pair their assigned number with your number for the free 30 minutes of voice calls daily.
8. How many children can a parent/legal guardian register for the My First Bundle?
Only one (1) Child can be paired to each primary number (belonging to the parent or legal guardian).
9. Will I be able to unlink my Child’s number from my account?
Yes, however, once the Child is under the age of 18, the number can no longer be active on its own. Once the Child attains the age of 18, they can register for their own account, however, you must consent to transferring the number to them.
10. Do I need to provide proof of a relationship between myself and my Child?
Yes. You will also be required to fill out the consent form, click here, where you will verify this by signing the form.
A. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.
B. You are required to use a compatible smartphone to run the My Digicel App and participate in the Promotion. A compatible smartphone is an Android (OS 4.0 or higher) or Apple (iOS 2.0 or higher) smartphone.
C. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused.
D. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you, at our discretion.
E. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for connectivity and data usage in relation to your participation in the Promotion, including but not limited to withholding tax or any other applicable tax.
F. You may not participate in this Promotion while roaming.
G. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the MyDigicel application. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
H. You acknowledge and agree that we may collect, store, share, and otherwise process any personally identifiable information that you provide about yourself (and any minor for which you have guardianship) during the Promotion and the mobile services application and registration process, including, but not limited to, names, ages, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. We will use this information in accordance with our privacy policy (https://www.digicelgroup.com/en/privacy-policy.html), including for managing and administering the Promotion, verifying your age, identity, and postal address, or registering you for a product or service. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and country and/or disclosing it to third parties on request) and any other purposes to, which you have consented.
I. You agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel. By participating in the Promotion, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the world in perpetuity.
