What is the reason for the price adjustment?

 

Price adjustments have become necessary at this time due to the effects of the increasing costs of international television content, global supply chain challenges, global inflation and increasing costs of international capacity as well as challenges accessing forex, all of which have significantly increased the cost of doing business.

 

This price change would allow us to continue to deliver on our commitment of giving you the best experience on our award-winning superfast fibre broadband network, despite the effects of inflation.

 

On what date would the price adjustment take effect?

The price adjustment takes effect from June 15th and will coincide with your next bill date.  

 

Has there been any additional value received from Digicel?

Yes, over the past year, Digicel gave customers great additional value with the following channels being added to our TV line up at no additional cost:

What additional offer would I receive with this price adjustment?

Digicel remains committed in working with all our customers to support their Home and Entertainment needs. Immediate changes in prices will only take effect on accounts that are out of contract.

Customers who are within contract (activated between July 1, 2021 and May 31st 2022) will receive a discount

to maintain their current base subscription ONLY.

 

If I sign up for the service before May 31st 2022, will I be eligible for the discount?

Yes! Discounts will only apply to customers who are installed during the period July 1, 2021 to May 31st, 2022.

 

If I relocate on or before May 31st 2022, and I am within contract, will I be eligible for the discount for the remainder of my contract?

Yes. Discounts will be applied on the account in the month of June.

 

If I am in contract, when will I see the discounts applied? 

Discounts will be applied by your July bill cycle

 

For customers who already receive a discount, will an additional discount be given with this change?

No. If a customer already has a discount, they will not be eligible for any further discounts

 

Would all plans be increasing?

Yes. Price adjustments are happening across all plans.

 

Would I be able to downgrade my package?-

Yes. Downgrades will be processed within 3 business days (Monday to Friday) from request.
