Terms and Conditions

 

During the Promotion Period defined below, Digicel is offering a discounted hand-set offer.  (The “Promotion”).

 

These Frequently Asked Questions (“FAQs”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in this Promotion.

 

“We” or “us” means Digicel (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited, a company registered under the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with registered offices at 11C Maraval Road, Port of Spain, Trinidad.  References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

 

“I” or “you” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

 

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

These Terms incorporate the Privacy Policy which you can access via the Digicel’s website.

 

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of eighteen (18), you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.

 

1. What is this Promotion about?

 

With the “More ways to win Christmas 2021 – Handset Offer”, during the period from Monday, 8th     November, 2021 to Friday 31st December, 2021 (“Promotional Period”):

 

Existing and new Digicel mobile Prepaid customers, who purchase a Prime 249 Bundle or Prime 349 Bundle (“Plan”)  in any Digicel store (or store that is an authorized dealer of Digicel) during the Promotional Period, and who purchase a DL3 Plus Pro Long Term Evolution (“LTE”) handset (“handset”)  will receive that handset at a discounted price of $249.00TT (VAT Inclusive). You will also receive a twenty-five percent (25%) discount off the selected Plan for three (3) consecutive months from the date of activation of the Plan.

 

New Digicel mobile Postpaid customers, who subscribe to a Postpaid Prime 350 Bundle during the Promotional Period, will receive a DL3 Plus Pro LTE handset free of charge, as well as a FREE Digicel Sim with a 1 Day Prime Junior Bundle

 

Persons who port their mobile number from the other mobile network provider to Digicel as a Prepaid mobile customer, and who purchase a DL3 Plus Pro LTE handset during the Promotional Period, will received that handset at a discounted price of $249.00TT (VAT Inclusive). Customers will  receive the 30 Day TT$249.00TT Prime Bundle with the first month FREE and 50% off the Prime 199 bundle, Prime 249 bundle or Prime 349 Bundle for the following  (3) consecutive months. Note :- Persons who port their mobile number from the other mobile network provider to Digicel, as a Prepaid mobile customer, must be on the other mobile network for not less than three (3) months prior to the date of the port request in order to avail of this offer.

 

Persons who port their mobile number to Digicel as a Postpaid customer during the Promotional Period, will receive the Postpaid TT$350 Prime Bundle FREE for the 1st full month subscription, and will enjoy a 25% discount for the following 11 months. Customers will also receive  a DL3 Plus Pro LTE handset free of charge.

3. Additional Terms and Conditions

 

These offers are for the personal use of individuals and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of the particular promotion.

 

 Digicel shall have the right to disqualify any individual from availing of any offer in this Promotion, if, in its sole opinion, the offer is being abused by that individual.

 

Digicel reserves the right to terminate this Promotion or any offer or all forthwith if, in its sole opinion, the offers are being abused.

 

Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) this Promotion being offered to its customer at its discretion.

 

Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without the notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.

 

Customers shall be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset or properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of a short code from a mobile handset or via the My Digicel App shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.

 

Except in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion

 

Subject to the above, the standard Postpaid Terms and Conditions or Prepaid Terms and Conditions (whichever is applicable) shall apply.

 

In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by our Conditions of Use and Digicel’s Fair Usage Policy.
