The New Roaming Bundles are available to Digicel Prepaid and Consumer Postpaid customers except where otherwise stated below.

2. The New Roaming Bundles are only capable of being utilized by prepaid customers and Consumer Postpaid customers who are roaming in the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland and Digicel territories within the Caribbean.

3. The following locations will be eligible for the new Roaming Bundles: United States of America, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, The British Virgin Islands, Bonaire, Cayman, Curacao, Dominica, French Guiana, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Martinique, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, El Salvador and Panama (28 locations).

4. Corporate Postpaid customers will still be able to avail of the Corporate Roam Like You’re Home plan.

5. The activation of the roaming bundles will be compatible with the other local or international plans. However, customers will not be able to avail of local offers while roaming.

6. The new Roaming Bundles will not include voice and SMS allotments. All voice rates are inclusive of government taxes.

8. Customers who are Standard Roaming will be notified via the welcome message that they will be incurring Standard Roaming charges. Customers roaming within the roaming destinations, through the landing message, will be encouraged to purchase a roaming plan in order to take advantage of the reduced rates.


9. Purchasing the new Roaming Bundle entitles the customer to the pre-defined amount of data as per plan purchased which is available for use while roaming in the destinations outlined in paragraph 3 above. Once the customer’s plan expires and a new plan is not activated, the Standard Roaming Rates will apply.


10. Customers intending to utilize the new Roaming Bundles must ensure that the handset that will be used while roaming is a device capable of roaming and is compatible to connect to roaming partners.


11. The new Roaming Bundles may be activated by the customer either in Jamaica prior to travelling or while in any of the stipulated roaming destinations.


12. Once the customer is on an active roaming plan, data charges while in any of the roaming destinations will be deducted from the new data Roaming bundle.  Once exhausted, the customer will not be able to data roam unless they repurchase a new Roaming Bundle plan.


13. Auto renewal or early renewal of the new Roaming Bundles will allow for data rollover. Therefore customers will be able retain the benefit of any unused portions of their data once renewal occurs before expiration.


14. Where the Postpaid roaming Customer has exhausted their data from the new Roaming Bundle before the plan expires, they will be have the option of purchasing a data add-on or a new Roaming Bundle plan to continue their data roaming experience.


15. In the event the Postpaid customer opts for a data add-on, their unused data, if any, will be accumulated and the expiration date of the plan purchased maintained. If however, the Postpaid customer chooses to buy a new Roaming Bundle, their unused data will be accumulated and the expiration date changed to the renewal cycle of the last plan purchased. The reduced voice and SMS rates will be available for the duration of the roaming plan.


16. For Prepaid customers, once the data from their roaming bundle is exhausted, they will need to purchase a new Roaming Bundle. If the customers purchases a new plan that has a lower validity period than the plan before, the plan that offers the longer validity period of the two, will be maintained. If the customer purchases a plan that has a higher validity period than the one previously, the expiration date will be extended to that of the longer plan purchased. The reduced voice and SMS rates will be available for the duration of the roaming plan.


17. Customers will be able to activate the new roaming bundle via USSD at *123# or though the My Digicel App through the My Plans section free of cost.


18. Activation of the new Roaming Bundle will be confirmed to customers via text message or in the MyDigicel App depending on the method used.


19. There will be no limit to the number of re-subscriptions allowed to any customer. Customers will be able to re-subscribe to the roaming bundle as soon as their current plan has expired and will be able to reactivate a new bundle once they have reached 100% of their bundle allotment.


20. The new Roaming Bundle will trigger plan expiration messages to Postpaid customers 4 days, 2 days and 1 day before the plan expires. For prepaid customers, notification messages will be sent 2 days and 1 day before the plan expires. Notification messages will be sent to both sets of customers on the day the plan expires.


21. Customers on active roaming plans will be notified whenever their data balances are low. For prepaid customers, notification will be sent at 100MBs (where applicable) 50MBs and 0MBs. Postpaid customers will receive notifications when their data usage is at 50%, 90% and 100%.


22. While roaming, prepaid customers will be automatically provisioned with 100MBs of data specifically for use in the My Digicel App (subject to fair usage). This provision will be available to customers whether or not they have an active roaming plan. Access to the 100MBs will be enabled only when the customer is roaming.


23. With the 100MBs dedicated to the MyDigicel app, the prepaid customer will be able to purchase plans, check their balances or use any of the services available in the app. The 100MBs allotment for the My Digicel app will be reset to zero at 12:00am daily.


24. In the event the customer is nearing their fair usage of 100MBs in the My Digicel App, a warning notification message will be triggered. This message will be triggered whenever the My Digicel app usage is between 95-99MB. At 100MBs, customers will be advised that they have exhausted their free 100MBs and subsequent My Digicel App usage will result in charges from their data bundle allotment.


25. Digicel reserves the right to terminate the new Roaming Bundle offer forthwith if in its sole opinion the new Roaming Bundles are being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to, unreasonable levels of usage, reselling or attempts to resell the data, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of Digicel’s network or services.


26. Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) the new Roaming Bundles being offered to its customer at our discretion.


27. Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its new roaming bundle offer. In the event of Digicel giving notice to Customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the Service, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.


28. The general Terms and Conditions for Digicel Telephone Services remain applicable to Prepaid roaming Customers. For the avoidance of doubt, these terms and conditions are in addition to any other terms and conditions of use of any of Digicel’s other services.
