The Tonga Youth Employment & Entrepreneurship (TYEE) opened two(2) of their news offices today. These two(2) new offices are the Youth Tech Incubation Centre & Tonga Youth Market Connect. With the opening of these offices also celebrated the 4th year Anniversary of the TYEE Centre of which was started by Lusia Latu in November, 2014 were is a registered youth support service organisation working to help school leavers and job-seekers aged 18-29.
These new offices is fully equipped with computers that will give youth employment seeker the opportunity to further their research on the employment world and the chance to develop themselves to being entrepreneur.
The guest of honour for the ceremony were the High Commissioner of New Zealand for Tonga His Excellency Ms Tiffany Babington and the Speaker of Parliament, Lord Fakafanua.
Digicel has played an important role in this partnership with TYEE in providing internet service to the centre and employment opportunities to TYEE candidates in the past years and up to today. The Head of Business for Consumers Sales, Ms Ragigia Dawai mentioned that we are looking forward to further collaboration in strengthening our partnership in years to come.
The ceremony ended with an auction at the Water Front Restaurant with all contribution goes to the TYEE Centre.
