1. What is the new offer?
The SMS plan will now support auto renew and will not be capped at 2 subscriptions per day. This means customers can opt-in as many times as they wish to in a day (00:1hrs to 23:59hrs). The price will remain as K1.20 for 60 SMS.
To opt in the customer simply has to text SMS to 1629.
2. How does the auto renewal work?
The auto renewal time will take on the last subscription of the day. For example, if a customer purchases his/her first SMS Plan at 10am and later purchases at 8pm again during the same day. The SMS plan will auto renew the next day at 8pm.
3. Can I subscribe more than twice in a day?
Yes, you can subscribe as many times as you wish in day.
4. Does the SMS Plan support bundle roll over?
Yes, it does. So what this basically means is that if the customer has some SMS remaining from the previous day’s subscription. This will add on when the plan auto renews on the next day. For example, a customer purchases the SMS plan on Tuesday at 4pm and receives 60SMS. The next day on Wednesday the customer has 5 SMS remaining at 4pm
when the plan auto renews. The SMS remaining will add on to the new 60 SMS received so the customer will now have 65 SMS in total.
5. How do I opt out from the SMS plan?
To opt out from the SMS Plan, the customer simply has to text “STOP” to 1629.
6. Can I be able to send text to other networks as well using the SMS plan?
No, you can only use the SMS plan to send Digicel to Digicel SMS.
7. Is the SMS Plan available to all Digicel customers?
No, the SMS Plan is only available to prepaid subscribers. This offer is not available to postpaid subscribers.
