HERE'S HOW YOU CAN WIN

Step 1: Open the MyDigicel app

Step 2: Tap on the “Plans” icon then the “Available Plans” tab and opt into any data bundle.

Step 3: Once you have opted in, tap the home icon to go back to the home page.

Step 4: At the home page, tap the shake it icon and start shaking your device.

Step 5: A message will pop up to tell you if you’ve won anything or not.

Step 6: Share your results with your friends and family on social media by tapping the share icon.

1.       What is the “Shake to Win Christmas Promotion”?

Digicel is offering its prepaid customers the opportunity to participate in the “Shake to Win Christmas Promotion” subject to these terms and conditions. The Promotion allows you to WIN prizes by shaking your phone via the Shake It gaming mechanism in the MyDigicel app. Each participating customer will have an opportunity to win prizes daily and weekly.

 

2.       What is the promotional period for the Promotion?

The Christmas promotion is valid from [Thursday, November 21st, 2019 12:00AM] through to [31st December, 2019 11:59PM].

 

3.       Who is eligible to enter the Promotion (the “Eligible Customers”)?

In order to be eligible for the Promotion, you must be a Digicel customer with an active Digicel Prepaid SIM and an active plan from the selection of “Eligible Plans” as defined below. This includes customers who activate a new Eligible Plan during the promotional period as well as customers on an existing Eligible Plan.

The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:

  • Postpaid numbers
  • Home & Entertainment customers

 

4.       Which Digicel prepaid/ bundles/plans are included in the Promotion?

Please see below list of plans that are eligible for the Promotion (the “Eligible Plans”):

 

Data Plans:

  • Weekly Data Plan
  • Supersize Weekly Data Plan
  • Monthly Data Plan
  • Supersize Monthly Data Plan

D’Music Plans:

  • Premium Weekly Plan
  • Premium Monthly Plan

PlayGo Plans:

  • Premium Daily Plan
  • Premium Weekly Plan
  • Premium Monthly Plan

Customers can also find the list of eligible plans in the Shake It section of the App identified with the Shake It Icon.  As such, plans listed in the MyDigicel app that do not have the Shake It icon are excluded from the Promotion.

 

5.       How does a customer participate in the Promotion?

  • To participate in the Promotion you will need to have activated an Eligible Plan via the MyDigicel app
  • Eligible Customers will receive a Shake It notification inviting them to participate in the Promotion.
  • By clicking on the Shake It notification and accepting the terms and conditions of it, the customer has confirmed their participation in the Promotion.
  • Once an Eligible Customer agrees to participate in the promotion, they can then Shake to Win!
  • Please note the Shake It action must be completed in the MyDigicel app.
  • The Promotion includes a “Guaranteed Win” day (subject to the applicable Promotion terms and conditions as outlined below) on Saturdays and “Chances to Win” on every other day.

 

Guaranteed Win: Every Saturday during the promotional period, customers who have activated a new eligible plan or has an active Eligible Plan can play Shake It for a guaranteed prize.

 

Chance to Win: Every other day, Eligible Customers stand a chance of winning a prize after activating a new Eligible Plan

 

Guaranteed Win Eligibility: Eligible Customers must complete the Shake It action in the MyDigicel app on the Saturday to receive their instant win prize.

Chance to Win Eligibility: Eligible Customers will have twenty-four (24) hours from the issue date and time of the Shake It notification to comple the Shake It action in the MyDigicel app for a chance to win a prize.

This Promotion will be accessible to Eligible Customers while roaming, but any prizes won will only be available to use and redeem in Nauru.

 

6.       Will customers be notified when to participate in Promotion

Yes.  Every Saturday during the Promotional Period, customers will be notified about the Guaranteed Win Shake being available.

Whenever a Customer activates an Eligible Plan, they will also receive an SMS notification that they are eligible for a Chance to Win Shake on any other day.

 

7.       How many times can a customer win?

The maximum number of wins per Customer is one (1) per day.

 

8.       Rewards and Prizes

The Digicel Shake It prize pool will consist of Instant Win Prizes and Other Prizes, including but not limited to: Data, Voice and d’Music.

*Other Prizes* on available on Nominated day-Saturday

The Other Prizes will be included in the prize pool daily with notifications of the same via social media and/or other Digicel communication. The Nauru Shake It Grand Prize will be on Saturday, 31st December.

Instant Win Prizes redemption process and use:

  • Voice, data and content rewards will be allocated immediately to Eligible Customers who have won these rewards
  • These will immediately be available to use from time of reward and will expire after six(6) hours.
  • Unused instant win prizes allocated will expire after six (6) hours and there will be no carry over or refund
  • Instant Win prizes cannot be transferred to other customers.
  • Any usage that falls outside the specified usage period or after the bundle is depleted, will be billed at the customer’s applicable price plan rates.

 

Other Prizes redemption process and use:

  • On winning a prize in this category, the Customer will receive a notification to the phone used for the Shake It including:
  • A voucher with a picture of the prize (for illustrative purposes only);
  • A description of the prize with a QR code; and
  • A telephone number to contact Digicel to arrange prize collection.
  • Customers MUST contact Digicel on the number provided within 24 hours of the notification being issued or the prize may be forfeited.
  •  Once the winners have contacted Digicel and their entries validated, their prize will be made available for collection from: 124, between the hours of 8am-12am, 7 days a week.
  • Customers are encouraged to collect their prize within fourteen (14) days from the issue date of the notification of the prize win or the prize will be             forfeited.
  • Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for another product or for cash.
  • Digicel reserves the right to award any forfeited prizes to another participant in the Promotion and to substitute Prizes where reasonably required.
  • Warranty and support information will be included in product packaging.
  • Save in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming any Reward.

 

 

9.       Will customers be notified when they have received a prize?

Yes.

 

For Instant Win Prizes:

Customers will be notified via SMS and In App notification for Instant Win Prizes. See below sample confirmation text message.

Sample: “Congratulations! You won 5 on-net call minutes valid for 6 hours. Subscribe to Participating plans using MyDigicel app for a chance to win more rewards.”

 

For Other Prizes:

Customers will be notified via SMS and In App notification as follows:

                                 i.          A voucher with a picture of the prize (for illustrative purposes only, not the actual prize);

                                ii.          A description of the prize with a QR code; and

                               iii.          A telephone number to contact Digicel to arrange prize collection (124).

 

10.       What will customers need in order to claim Other Prizes?

Winners must present Digicel Phone with QR code for their winning Shake. Customer will be required to complete and sign a Redemption Form confirming their receipt of their prize AND a Consent Release Form authorizing the use of their picture (where they chose to do so) on Social Media.


These My Digicel “Shake to Win Christmas Promotion” (the “Promotion”) Frequently asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for chances to win certain prizes on the My Digicel mobile application (the “App”). You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.

“We” or “us” means Digicel Group Limited, a company registered under the laws of Bermuda with registered offices at Clarendon House, 2 Church Street, Hamilton HM11, Bermuda. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

“I” or “You” means the person accessing or using the App to participate in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

By participating in the Promotion on the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms incorporate the MyDigicel Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy, which you can access via the App.

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.
