What is the PlayGo pass?

With a PlayGo pass, Prepaid and Postpaid customers will be able to use Digicel’s PlayGo app to enjoy your favourite sports, movies. . The pass provide customers with a data allocation that can be used to view all available content:

Who can activate a PlayGo pass?

This pass is available to all Digicel Prepaid and Postpaid customers.

 

How do I activate this pass?

Prepaid and Postpaid customers may activate the pass by dialing *141# or visiting the MyDigicel App from their mobile phone at p.mydigicel.net

 

How long is this pass valid for after activation?

•      The Day pass expires at 11:59pm on the day of the activation after receiving the activation SMS.

 

How much data do I get with this pass?

Customers will receive 5GB of data to stream on the PlayGo app only. 

 

Where can I download the My Digicel App?

You can download the My Digicel App from either the Android PlayStore or the Apple App Store. Download it now from your Digicel phone at p.mydigicel.net

 

If I activate a PlayGo pass, will I be able to activate a regular data plan or mixed bundle (data+talk) and have both working at the same time?

Yes, you may activate any other data only plan or mixed bundle and your PlayGo pass will still continue working without inconvenient.

 

Can I use the data allocation of my PlayGo pass outside of the PlayGo app?

No, customers can only use their PlayGo pass data allocation to stream on the PlayGo app.

 

Is there a limit to how many times I can activate this pass?

No, customers may purchase the PlayGo Day pass as many times as they’d like.

 

What is the minimum internet connection speed required to use my pass?

To enjoy of the streaming quality, ensure you are connected to the Digicel Mobile network (4G or LTE) or to a High-speed WiFi service.

 

What happens if my internet connection speed is not fast enough for PlayGo?

If your internet connection speed is not fast enough, PlayGo will adapt to give you the best quality for your internet speed.

 

What devices can I use to stream PlayGo?

You can use your Android Phone, iPhone, iPad and Android tablets for the best streaming.

 

What is the minimum requirement for my devices to be able to access PlayGo?

The minimum requirements for your devices to be able to access PlayGo are listed below:-

Android Devices - Android OS 4.1 and above.

Apple iOS Devices for iPad and iPhone - iOS 8.0 and above.

•      Iphone devices: Go to “Settings”      “General”     “About”

 

How many devices can I connect to my PlayGo account at the same time?

You can connect as many devices as you wish.  However, you will only be able to watch TV on one of the devices at a time, so keep this in mind if you pass to share an account with your household. If you try several times to watch TV, it will result in an error message stating that you are “Unable to login. Too many connections”. Once received, you are required to end any other active session and retry your login.

 

Can I use PlayGo when I travel?

Yes; you can use PlayGo when you travel. However, data usage while roaming will be charged at roaming rates. You will also be able to access PlayGo via Wi-Fi connection for the duration of your pass.

 

What happens when my free PlayGo Pass expires?

When your free PlayGo Pass expires, you will no longer have access to the PlayGo app. To continue watching your favouritesmovies and sports, you may activate a new PlayGo pass from only $3.00 via the My Digicel App at p.mydigicel.net or by dialing *141# from your Digicel mobile phone.

 

How do I qualify for free 7 day PlayGo for free streaming

All Prepaid and Postpaid customers automatically have this benefit added to their Account.

 

Is there any cost associated or data depletion with this free 7 day playgo plan ?

 

There is no cost to activating the free 7 day PlayGo plan and no charge from data bundle

 

What Can I view with my free 7 day PlayGo Plan?

With Free 7 day PlayGo Plan, you are able to stream anything totally unlimited from the Digicel’s PlayGo App

 

How do I activate the 7 day PlayGo  plan for free streaming?

Prepaid customers are able to activate their 7 days free streaming via the My Digicel App or by dialing the USSD Code *140#

Postpaid customers are able to activate using the My Digicel App only

  2. Via menu; select available plans
  3. Select Entertainment
  4. Select either free 7 day PlayGo Plan .

  2. Select Free PlayGo 7 day
  3. Select activate now

 

What happens when my 7 day plan expires ?

You will need to reactivate your free 7 day PlayGo pass or purchase a premium plan for only $5 a day.

 

•      This Product is offered for the personal use of individuals and not for the commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of this promotion.

•      Digicel reserves the right to terminate your use of this Product forthwith without notice if in its sole opinion the promotion is being abused by you.

•      Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) this Product being offered to its customer at its discretion.

•      Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without the notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its Product. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the Product, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.

•      Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of a USSD code from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.

•      Subject to the above, the standard Prepaid, Postpaid and 4G terms and conditions shall apply.
