The “CARNIVAL Shake to Win” (the “Promotion”) Frequently asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for chances to win certain prizes in the CARNIVAL Shake to Win promotion. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion. “We” or “us” means Digicel,. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time. “I” or “You” means the person accessing or using the text to participate in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning). If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.


  1. 1. What is the Digicel’s “CARNIVAL Shake to Win” promotion?

The Digicel’s “CARNIVAL Shake to Win” promotion is available via the Shake It feature in the My Digicel App and gives all Digicel customers a chance to win prizes by completely spelling the word ‘CARNIVAL’.


  1. 2. Who is eligible to enter this promotion?

All Digicel customers, including postpaid, prepaid, dual and hybrid customers are qualified to participate in the promotion.

  2. 3. What is the promotional period?

The promotion begins at 12am on Friday July 8th, 2021 to 11:59pm on Saturday July 31st, 2021.

  2. 4. How do I enter the promotion/how does the promotion works?

Prepaid Customers who activate a qualifying plan or Tops Up $15.00 or more will automatically receive a chance to shake (valid for 24 hours) using the My Digicel app for opportunities to play and collect letters to spell ‘CARNIVAL’.

Postpaid customers who are on an active Prime Bundle will automatically receive chances to Shake.

  2. 5. Will I receive a notification to shake after activating an eligible plan?

Yes. Customers will receive a notification SMS after activating an eligible bundle or topping up with a link directing them to head into My Digicel app to shake.

  1. 7. Can I win letters on Guaranteed Win Days?

Yes. On guaranteed win days (e.g.: Saturdays), customers with an active bundle listed above will be able to shake and win letters to play in the promotion.

  2. 8. What is the difference between Guaranteed Win and More Chances to Win?

We are offering customers two ways to win through this Promotion:


a.      “Guaranteed Win”: Every Saturday (and other special promotion days as we may choose) during the Promotional Period, participating Eligible Customers who complete the “Shake It” action in the My Digicel App will receive a letter.


b.     “Chances to Win”: On any other day, Eligible Customers stand a chance of winning a prize after activating a NEW Eligible Plan or Top Up. Eligible customers will have twenty-four (24) hours from the date and time of the “Shake It” notification to complete the “Shake It” action in the My Digicel App for a chance to win a letter.


  1. 9. How are the letters selected?

All the letters to spell ‘CARNIVAL’ will be available as rewards to customers who activate an eligible plan. One letter will be randomly selected from the pool when a customer plays shake it.

  2. 10. Can I receive a letter more than once?

Yes. A letter can be won more than once during the promotion. Once all the letters to spell ‘CARNIVAL’ are won, customer can contact Digicel to redeem their prize.


  1. 11. Is there a cut off time for the collection of letters to win?

Yes. All letters must be won latest by 11:59:59pm on Saturday July 31st, 2021.

  2. 12. When will the Grand Prize winner be selected?

There’s no grand prize draw. Customers who spell the word ‘CARNIVAL’ completely during the promotion will each be a winner of $300 CASH.


  1. 13. How often am I allowed to enter?

You are allowed to enter as often as you wish.

  2. 14. How will I know if I have won?

To win, customers must collect all the letters. To view letters won during the promotion, customer goes into the My Digicel App à selects ‘Shake It’ from the menu à then selects ‘Unclaimed Rewards’ à all letters won will be visible there.


  1. 15. If I was contacted and won where do I collect the prize?

You will be required to collect your prize at the Digicel Bay-Walk store.

  2. 16. If I was contacted and have won, how long do I have to collect my prize?

You are required to collect your prize within 30 days of being contacted.

  2. 17. What do I need in order to claim the prize?

A government issued photo ID (passport, driver’s license or national voter’s ID)

The phone with the SIM for the winning number that was used to enter.

  2. 18. Am I allowed to enter if I am under 18 years of age?

Yes. Persons under 18 years are allowed to enter.

  2. 19. What do I do if I have won and I am under 18 years old?

Juveniles (under 18) winning must be accompanied by parents/guardians in order to claim prizes. All winners must present the winning phone number called as well as a valid national government ID, in order to claim their prizes. Parents/guardians should present a valid national government ID as well as the child.
