If your prepaid account is running low on credit and you need an advance, use DigiLoan and get credit quickly!

If you’ve got less than $1 remaining on your account, you can request a DigiLoan, and we’ll lend you a boost of credit to buy you a little extra time.

For a flat fixed fee of 20c per DigiLoan, you’ll receive a loan of $2.50 in credit, and you’ll have 30 days to pay back.

Getting started is simple, just follow these steps:

  1. Dial *111# to determine whether you’re eligible for a DigiLoan (you’ll need a prepaid account balance of less than $1 and no other outstanding DigiLoans)

  2. If eligible, follow the instructions, and we’ll loan $2.50 along with a small fee of 20c.

  3. Once you’ve received your DigiLoan credit, you’ll be able to use to use your credit to call and text locally, and within specific Caribbean destinations.

  4. You’ll have 30 days to repay any outstanding balances for DigiLoans; if left unpaid, your outstanding DigiLoan may affect your ability to receive future DigiLoans.

If you prefer not to have this facility and would like to deactivate this service, simply dial *135*30# from your Digicel mobile phone. If you have deactivated this service, you can dial the same code at any time to reactivate.

Digicel will help you control the volume of paid data you use when downloading ads and the quality of the ads you download.   To do this when you access a webpage we will look at the requests that the webpage sends to retrieve ads from ad agencies and filter those which don’t meet Digicel’s quality and commercial standards. Looking at these retrieval requests is the only aspect of your browsing activity we need to access to implement this facility.  This should improve the download speed for these websites and reduce the amount you spend retrieving ads.
