1.     What are the new LTE Freedom bundles?                                                                                    

LTE Freedom bundles are simply the coolest mix of data and talk that gives you anywhere minutes, unlimited Digicel text, SMS to other local networks, data and free WhatsApp chat plus, enjoy FREE video daily via PlayGo/Youtube with your bundle.

 

2.     Who can benefit from the new LTE Freedom bundles?

All Digicel prepaid customers can enjoy the value and convenience of our New LTE Freedom bundles.

 

3.     How many New LTE Freedom Bundles can I choose from?

There are five (5) New LTE Freedom bundles to choose from and customers will enjoy a lot more data and all net calls.

4.     Why should I buy a New LTE Freedom bundle?                                                                          

Because you get way more value. All net minutes, unlimited WhatsApp chat for the ‘texters’, unlimited Digi Text, all nets SMS and the right amount of data for customers who like to browse. Best of all, enjoy FREE video daily via PlayGo/Youtube with your bundle.

5. How do I use my 1hr Free video daily?

With an active LTE Freedom bundle, you are rewarded with free video daily. To claim your free video, visit the MyDigicel App p.mydigicel.net and go to ‘Free LTE Add-ons’. Similarly, you can dial *141# and go to ‘Free LTE Add-ons’ to claim your 1hr Free PlayGo/Youtube.

6. After my 1hr Free PlayGo/Youtube add-on is expired, can I still access PlayGo/Youtube for free?

Unfortunately, once your daily free PlayGo/Youtube add-on is expired, you will no longer have free access to PlayGo or Youtube. If you choose to browse Youtube after your free add-on expires, you will be charged from your available data bundle. Access to the PlayGo App will be barred after your free 1hr add-on has expired.

                                                                                                                                                

7.     Can I activate a New LTE Freedom bundle now?

Yes, you can activate any of our newest LTE Freedom bundles via the My Digicel App at p.mydigicel.net, or by dialing *141# to access the prepaid service menu option 1 “New LTE Freedom bundles”.

 

8.     Why is my plan no longer available?                                                                         

You spoke. We listened. We've replaced older plans with a fresh set of simplified New LTE Freedom bundles that give you All Net minutes and SMS, a lot more Data, WhatsApp messaging and Unlimited Rollover. Best of all, no data overage charges.

 

9.      My plan will no longer auto-renew, what plan should I purchase?                                       

Now you have the option to choose from a better range of LTE Freedom bundles that includes even all net minutes. So now it's up to you to decide how much data and minutes you need, then choose the bundle that's right for you. If you feel you'll need more while on an active plan, simply purchase an Add-On. Activate a plan via the My Digicel App at p.mydigicel.net or by dialing *141#.         

                                                        

10.      Will I receive another notice that my plan will be removed?

Yes, you will receive a reminder 24 hours before the plan expires and on the day it ends.

 

11.   Will my data rollover?

Absolutely, any unused data from your New LTE Freedom bundle will rollover, once you purchase a new LTE Freedom Bundle by midnight on the day of expiry.       

  

12. How will I know when my New LTE Freedom bundle is active?

We'll send a confirmation message to let you know that you're free to use your LTE Freedom Bundle, this message will also include the expiration date.

  

13.  How many times can these bundles be activated?

As many times as you wish. As long as you have enough credit, you can choose a new LTE Freedom Bundle, even while you have an existing plan or bundle. Voice and Data allotment will be accumulated and we will keep longest expiry date.

14.  How can I get more data with my LTE Freedom Bundle?

That’s easy! Introducing our new supersized LTE Freedom bundles packed with more data for you to browse and stream your favourite shows, movies and more! Please note this offer is available for a limited time only.

15.   Will I incur charges once my data is finished and my plan is still active?            

Remember, no surprises. Pay no overage charges once you are on an active LTE Freedom Bundle. Standard overage rate of ECD $0.30/MB will only apply if you are not on one these bundles or if you do not have an active plan.                                                                         

16. Can I activate another LTE Freedom bundle if I already have one active?

Sure. When you activate a LTE Freedom Bundle while another is already active, you'll receive all the benefits of the new bundle and still be able to use both until each bundle expires on its own end-date.

 

17. Will my available minutes/data/sms on my current plan rollover to the LTE Freedom Bundle?

Sure. You get to keep your unused minutes and data when you activate another LTE Freedom Bundle by midnight on the day of expiry.

                                                                                   

18. What happens if I choose not to activate a LTE Freedom Bundle?

Standard call charge of ECD $0.79 per minute will apply for Digicel local calls. Data will be charged at ECD $0.49 per megabyte.

19. Where can I call with my All Net minutes and SMS?

These can be used to make all net calls or send texts messages to the following destinations:

  • USA
  • Including U.S. territories in the Pacific Islands (Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa)
  • Canada
  • UK landline
  • Caribbean (Excluding Haiti, Cuba, Guyana and Jamaica).

20. If I am on a call within the duration of the LTE Freedom Bundle, and it expires, what happens to my call?

If you are on a call and your LTE Freedom bundle expires, your call will not drop. However, you will be charged for the remaining portion of the call at an ECD $0.79 rate per minute.

21. Where are my data and minutes displayed?

You can check your data and minutes balance via the My Digicel App at a.mydigicel.net or by using service menu *141# from your phone and select the option “Balances” (menu is subject to changes) to view the ‘Balance Check’ menu.

22. Do my data and minutes from the expired LTE Freedom Bundle rollover onto my active LTE Freedom bundle?

Yes, the unused data and minutes from the current LTE Freedom Bundle will rollover to your new bundle if you repurchase your bundle before midnight on the day of expiry of your previous bundle.  

23. How will I be notified when my LTE Freedom Bundle expires?                                                         

Before your LTE Freedom Bundle expires, you will receive a reminder letting you know that your bundle is about to expire. If you do not activate a new LTE Freedom Bundle, we'll send you another reminder, just in case you forget.

24. Does the LTE Freedom Bundle automatically renew?

Yes, all our New LTE Freedom bundles will auto-renew as long as there is sufficient credit on your account. We encourage you to top up by visiting to t.mydigicel.net to add more credit to your account.

25. Can I opt-out of auto-renewal?

Yes, you can opt-out of auto-renewal by using the service menu *141#, press 6 option “Manage Plans” and select the option “Opt Out” You can also visit the My Digicel App at p.mydigicel.net to view and manage your plan where you can also choose to opt-out of auto-renewal.

26. Am I able to use my LTE Freedom Bundle after it expires?

No, after your LTE Freedom Bundle expires, you lose all the benefits.

27. How do I check the balance of minutes and data on my LTE Freedom Bundle?

You have two ways:

  • Service Menu: *141# - press 5 to enter the “Balances” menu, then press 4 to enter the “Check Plan Balance” and expiry to see your available minutes and/or data balances.
  • My Digicel App – click on the app and go to ‘Accounts and Balances’.

 Additional Terms and Conditions

  • Prepaid FREEDOM bundles are offered for the personal use of individuals and not for commercial use.
  • To help protect against the possibility that customers may occupy an unfair share of the network, Prepaid FREEDOM bundles will be subject to fair usage guidelines which are designed to ensure that quality of service and reliability are maintained at all times. These fair usage guidelines give an indication of what we believe is normal and reasonable for an individual user.  
  • Voice and data allotments are only applicable while in St. Kitts & Nevis. Once roaming, customers may activate a roaming plan or roam at the prevailing standard roaming rates.
  • Digicel reserves the right to terminate the Prepaid FREEDOM bundles offer if, in its sole opinion, the PLANS are being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to, unreasonable levels of usage, reselling or attempts to resell the Data/Voice, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of Digicel’s network or services.
  • Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) the Prepaid FREEDOM Plans being offered to its customer at our discretion.
  • Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its Prepaid FREEDOM plan. In the event of Digicel giving notice to Customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the Service, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
  • In addition to the Terms and Conditions herein, customers remain bound by any other terms and conditions of use for any of Digicel’s other services, including the general Terms and Conditions for Digicel Telephone Services.
