1.     What is the Digicel Christmas “10GB Any Use Bonus Data” Promotion?                             

As part of our Christmas Promotion, Digicel will be adding 10GB Any-Use data on specified prepaid plan purchases and post-paid plan renewals for 12 consecutive months.

The offer will be available for all new and existing prepaid and post-paid subscribers however subscriber must maintain eligible plan activation/upgrade throughout the promotional period to get the additional 10GB monthly.

                                                      

       i.         New and Existing Prepaid: Get 10GB bonus every month for the next 12 months for staying on a plan with Digicel.

 

     ii.         New and Existing Post-paid: Get 10GB bonus every month for the next 12 months for upgrading current post-paid plan and maintaining it for the next 12 months, or for activating a valid post-paid plan during the eligibility/join period of November 28– December 31, 2022

 

2.     When does the “10GB Any Use Bonus Data” Promotion start and end?   

The Promotion starts on November 28, 2022 and ends on November 28, 2023 [11:59PM]

However, first activation/upgrade must be done during the eligibility period which commences November 28, 2022 and December 31, 2022 [11:59PM]

 

3. Who is eligible to participate in the “10GB Any Use Bonus Data” Promotion? 

a)    All new and existing Digicel GSM (Mobile) prepaid customers

b)    All new and existing Digicel GSM (Mobile) post-paid customers.

6.    How does the Promotion work?   

 

The 10GB Bonus Data Christmas Offer allows all Prepaid and Post-paid subscribers to receive 10GB of any-use bonus data with the purchase/upgrade and renewal of an eligible plan within the eligibility and promotion period. The below criteria is applicable:

 

·       The Promotion starts on November 28, 2022 and ends on November 28, 2023 [11:59PM] However, first eligible plan activation/upgrade must be done during the eligibility period which commences November 28, 2022 and ends December 31, 2022 [11:59PM].

·       If your first activation/upgrade of an eligible plan is completed after December 31, 2022 you will not be able to enter this promotion.

·       Your 10GB Bonus Data will be awarded instantly upon eligible plan purchase/upgrade and renewal.

·       Your 10GB any-use data is only applied once per month and will not be allowed to roll-over or accumulate.

·       You will be able to check your balance via MyDigicel App or UMM service Menu.  

·       You will receive data depletion notification when you have 150MB and 0MB remaining.

·       Your 10GB any-use data will be renewed every 30 days as long as activation is completed within the cycle (including grace period).

·       You will have until the end of day of original expiry date/time plus an additional 24 hours to renew or to purchase an eligible plan to stay in the promotion.

·       You must maintain consistency on eligible plan purchase/renewal and should not allow grace period to expire before completing an eligible purchase/renewal.

·       You will not be allowed to re-enter promotion if grace period expires and any value in your Bonus allotment will be removed.

 

7. How do I redeem my prize?

Prepaid subscribers:  

Your 10GB Bonus Data will be awarded instantly upon eligible Prepaid plan purchase/renewal.

 

Post-paid subscribers:  

Your 10GB Bonus Data will be awarded instantly upon eligible Post-paid plan upgrade/ auto renewal.

 

Bonus data can ONLY be redeemed once every 30 days.

8.    Will this 10GB Bonus Data be separate from the data allotment that comes with my plan?

Yes, the 10GB any-use bonus data will be separate from the regular data allotment that comes with your Prepaid/Post-paid plan.

 

9.   If I purchase another eligible prepaid plan within the 30 day validity period, will I receive       

      another 10GB Bonus Data valid for another 30 days?

No, Bonus data can ONLY be redeemed once every 30 days. Activating eligible plans during the 10GB’s 30-day validity period ensures that the 10GB remains accessible, it does not increase the allotment

 

10.     Will my 10GB Bonus Data rollover / accumulate monthly if I don’t use it?

No, your 10GB any-use data will not be allowed to roll-over or accumulate. Bonus data is renewed monthly

11. Will I be able to track/view my 10GB Bonus Data balance?   

Yes, you will be able to check your balance via MyDigicel App or UMM service Menu.  

 

12. What should I do to continue receiving my 10GB any-use Bonus Data each month?   

Pre-paid subscribers:  Renew your plan each month [upon expiry or within grace period] throughout the promotional period to maintain eligibility for bonus

 

Post-paid subscribers:  Maintain your upgraded postpaid plan upon auto renewal each month throughout the promotional period to maintain eligibility for bonus.

 

The 10GB will be renewed every 30 days as long as activation is completed within the cycle (including grace period).

 

13. Will my Eligible Plan and 10GB Bonus Data expire the same time?   

Prepaid subscribers:  

No, your eligible plan validity is based on plan type (3Day, 7Day, 30Day etc.) however bonus data is valid for 30 days, so you will need to keep renewing your plan in order to maintain your bonus data.

 

*Post-paid subscribers

Yes, the 10GB Bonus data post-paid plans maintains the same 30 day validity as Post-paid plans.

 

14.    What if my first activation/upgrade is completed after December 31, 2022?   

If your first activation/upgrade of an eligible plan is completed after December 31, 2022 you will not be able to enter this promotion.

 

15. What happens if my plan expires, is there a grace period to renew?

Yes, you will have until the end of day of original expiry date/time plus an additional 24 hours to renew or to purchase an eligible plan to stay in the promotion.

 

16. What happens if my post-paid account is barred?

Bonus stops once you are barred; Bonus is resumed when your clear debt [To be confirmed by Post-paid team]

 

17. Will I be notified when my plan is about to expire or reached grace period?

Yes, you will receive an auto renewal SMS prior to plan expiration and a re-join SMS upon plan expiration.

 

18. What happens if my plan is not renewed upon expiry or within the grace period?

You will not be allowed to re-enter promotion if grace period expires and any value in your Bonus allotment will be removed.

 

19. Will I still retain my 10GB Bonus data, if I choose to upgrade or downgrade my plan upon

      renewal?

Prepaid subscribers:

Yes, so as long as you don’t allow the grace period to expire before completing an eligible plan purchase/renewal.

 

Postpaid subscribers:

No, you must maintain your upgraded postpaid plan upon auto renewal each month throughout the promotional period to maintain eligibility for bonus.

 

20. Will my 10GB Bonus Data be used up before my eligible plan data allotment?

Yes, you will consume your 10GB Bonus Data first before you start consuming your eligible plan data bundle.

 

21. What will happening in regards to the 10GB Data when Roaming?

            Your 10GB Bonus Data will be any use loca data , as such you will be recquired to

purchase a roaming plan just befor travels.

These Digicel 10GB Any Use Data On Us (the “Promotion”) terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion. You should read these Terms carefully before participating.

 

“We” or “us” means  Digicel St. Kitts & Nevis  a company registered under the laws of St.Kitts & Nevis with registered offices at Koi Building , One Airport Road References to “we”, “our”, “us” and “Digicel” in these Terms also include our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

 

“I” or “you” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

 

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

These Terms incorporate our Prime Bundle Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy which you can access via our website.

 

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of eighteen (18) and have not received parental consent by way of the execution of the applicable Participation & Consent form you should not participate in the Promotion.

 

1.     What is the Digicel “10GB Any Use Data On Us” Promotion?

The Digicel “10GB Any Use Data On Us” Promotion is a limited promotional offering whereby new and existing prepaid and post-paid customers who participate in the Promotion will receive 10 GB of any use mobile data and thereafter the benefit of receiving 10 GB monthly mobile data during the Reward Period (defined below), (collectively called the “Offers”).

 

2.     What are the Offers?

                        i.         Existing Customers:

A.    For any  prepaid or post-paid Christmas plan purchased during the Promotional Period you shall receive 10 GB of any use mobile data.

B.    After the Promotional Period, for any pre-paid or post-paid Christmas plan renewed monthly for a period of thirty (30) days, you shall receive 10 GB of any use data during the Reward Period.

 

                       ii.         New Customers/New Purchases

A.    For any  prepaid or post-paid Christmas plan purchased during the Promotional Period you shall receive 10 GB of any use mobile data;

B.    For any new SIM purchased during the Promotional Period, the Customer will receive a three (3) day plan and 10GB of any use mobile data;

C.    For any new Acaltel 1 or Samsung  smartphone bundle purchased during the Promotional Period, the Customer shall receive 10GB of any use mobile data;

D.    After the Promotional Period, for any pre-paid or post-paid Christmas plan renewed monthly for a period of thirty (30) days, the Customer will receive 10 GB of any use data during the Reward Period.  

 

 

3.     What is a Christmas Plan?

A Christmas Plan is any of our following plans:

3 Day Prime Bundle

7 Day Prime Bundle

            14 Day Prime Bundle

30 Day Prime Bundle

 

 

4.     When does the Promotion start and end?

The Promotion is valid from November 28, 2022 [DS2] to December 31, 2022 (the “Promotional Period”).

 

5.     When is the Reward Period?

The Reward Period is valid from date of purchase during the Promotional Period until  November 30, 2023.

 

6.     Who can participate in the Promotion?

The following persons are eligible to participate in the Promotion.

a.     New and existing Digicel prepaid mobile customers, and

b.     New and existing Digicel postpaid mobile customers.

 

Participants must also be at least eighteen (18) years old.

7.     How do I participate in the Promotion?

Follow these steps to participate in the Promotion:

 

Existing Customers:

Step 1: Purchase a Christmas Plan through the MyDigicel App or UMM code between November 28 [DS3] and December 31, 2022. Upon purchase, you will receive 10 GB of mobile data.  

 

Step 2: Renew your Christmas Plan for a period of thirty (30) days or up to two (2) days after plan expiry to benefit for the duration of the Reward Period.

 

Step 3: Continue to renew your Christmas Plan for a period of thirty (30) days or up to two (2) days after plan expiry every month for the duration of the Reward Period to benefit.

 

New Customers:

Step 1: Purchase an Alcatel 1 or Samsung smartphone bundle in a Digicel store. Upon purchase, you will receive 10 GB of mobile data.

                                                           OR

Step 1: Purchase a SIM in a Digicel store. Upon purchase, you will receive a 3-day plan.

 

Step 2: Purchase a Christmas Plan through the MyDigicel App or UMM code between November 28, and December 31, 2022. Upon purchase, you will receive 10 GB of mobile data.

 

Step 3: Renew your Christmas Plan for a period of thirty (30) days or up to two (2) days after plan expiry to benefit for the duration of the Reward Period.

 

Step 4: Continue to renew your Christmas Plan for a period of thirty (30) days or up to two (2) days after plan expiry during the Reward Period to benefit from the Promotion.

 

 

8.     Will I be notified when to participate?

Yes.  During the Promotional Period you will receive daily alerts via SMS, push and/or in-app notification inviting you to participate.

 

9.     Will my unused mobile data rollover when I renew my Christmas Plan?

No, you must use your 10GB Data before your Christmas Plan expires or up to a maximum of thirty (30) days.

 

10.  Are there any restrictions on how I can use my 10GB Data?

No, you can use your 10GB Data in any manner you choose.

 

11.  Can I check my data balance?

You can check your data balance in the MyDigicel App.

 

12.  How long will my 10GB last?

Your 10 GB mobile data will last for the duration of your Christmas plan or up to two (2) days after the expiration of your Christmas Plan for a maximum of thirty (30) days

 

13.  Can I switch my Christmas Plan during the Promotional Period?

No, you cannot switch to a different Christmas Plan during the Promotional Period. You must continue to renew the Christmas Plan you initially chose in order to benefit from the Reward.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions

 

A.    This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.

 

B.    You are required to use a compatible smartphone to run the App and participate in the Promotion. A compatible smartphone is an Android (OS 4.0 or higher) or Apple (iOS 2.0 or higher) smartphone.

 

C.    We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused.

 

D.    We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you, at our discretion.

 

E.    You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for connectivity and data usage in relation to your participation in the Promotion, including but not limited to withholding tax or any other applicable tax.

 

F.    You may not participate in this Promotion while roaming.

 

G.    We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the MyDigicel mobile application. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.

 

H.    Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and country and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the Selected Customer) and any other purposes to, which you have consented. I.      You agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel.  By participating in the Promotion, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the world in perpetuity.
