1. What are Quick Pick Plans?
Quick Pick Plans provide selected Digicel prepaid mobile customers with a bundled plan that includes ‘ Anywhere’ Voice bundles, ‘Anywhere’ Text bundles and an allotted Data Bundle. The ‘Anywhere’ Voice Bundle allows calls to local Digicel mobile, Digicel Fixed (DigiHome, WiMAX, and Play), other local mobile and other local Fixed numbers, International numbers in USA, Canada and UK Fixed lines. The Text Bundle allows the sending of text messages locally to Digicel and Lime mobiles, as well as USA and Canada.
 
2. Who will qualify for these plans?
The Quick Pick Plans will be available only to selected prepaid mobile customers who meet the following criteria:
  • Customers active on the Digicel network for minimum 3 months.
  • Customers using a smartphone.
Eligible customers will receive a text message advising that they have Quick Pick Plans available for activation

Customers may avail of their Quick Pick Plans regardless of their active prepaid rate plan. This includes all five (5) rate plans as follows:

  • Gimme 5 Plan
  • Gimme 5 11.99
  • $2.89 Sweet Plan
  • $2.95 Plan
  • Double Dat

Note: Hybrid, Dual and VIP Attraction customers are not eligible for the Quick Pick Plans.

3. How does the Quick Pick Plans work?

  • The Quick Pick Plan gives an allocation of Voice, Text and Data to Prepaid customers who have paid the required subscription fee to activate the plan.
  • Customers will be offered plans allowing activation for durations of 3, 7 and 30 days.
  • The subscription fee is deducted from Main Account and/or Digi-Loan balance only. I.e. your bonus credit cannot be used to subscribe to a Quick Pick Plan.
    • You may repurchase your Quick Pick Plan as often as you would like
    • Quick Pick Plans will automatically renew once you have sufficient credit on your account.
    • TCT + GCT charges are included in the subscription fees and therefore will not be deducted from the main balance for voice calls.
    • You can check your Quick Pick balances by dialling *147# send, and selecting the respective option within the menu or by using the My Digicel App to manage your plan.

6. How do I activate the Quick Pick Plans?

Quick Pick Plans may be activated via the *147# Services Menu or by using the My Digicel App.

  • You are required to have sufficient credit on your account to purchase the plan.
  • Once the plan is successfully activated, you will receive a confirmation text message.

7. Is there a benefit to activating a Quick Pick Plan?

8. Why are my Quick Pick Plan offers different from another customers’?

Your selection of Quick Pick plans will be done based on your usage patterns and will attempt to best suit your lifestyle.

9. Can I reactivate my Quick Pick Plan after it has ended?

Yes. You will have the option to reactivate the plan via My Digicel App or via the *147# Services Menu.

10. Can I deactivate my Quick Pick Plan

No. Once the plans have been activated, cancellation may only be done by means of opting out at the renewal prompt, thus, preventing the automatic renewal of the plan.

11. How do I check my Quick Pick Plan balance?

You are able to check your bundle balances for voice, text & data using :

  • My Digicel App
  • *147# Services Menu.

Your Quick Pick bundles will rollover once the plan is automatically renewed/ repurchased or a new 4G Data, LTE Data or LTE Smart Plan is activated.

12. When will my Quick Pick bundles expire?
Your Bundle balances will be available for use right up to 11:59 pm on the last day of your plan duration.

Example: If you activate a 3-day plan at 10:00 am on February 17, 2017, the plan will expire at 10:00 am on February 20, 2017. However bundle balances will be valid for use up to 11:59 PM on February 20, 2017. That means any remaining data, voice minutes or text messages may be used until that time and available for roll over to another activated plan, once the activation is completed before 11:59 PM.

 

13. Am I able to use my Quick Pick bundles after my plan expires?

Yes. You will be able to use your bundles up to 11:59 pm on the day the plan expires as outlined above.

 

14. Will I qualify for other promotions while my Quick Pick Plan is active?

You will not qualify/benefit for the following promotions while the Quick Pick Plan is active:

  • Double Data Bonus Offer
  • Gimme 5 Offers
  • Double Dat Voice & Data Offers
  • Match Credit Bonus Offers
  • Digicel Discount Zone
  • Rewards Offers
  • First of the Month Bonus Offers
  • Prepaid Free Nights

These promotional benefits become available for use once your Quick Pick Plan expires.

Note:   

  • If you have qualified for any of the above Bonus Offers prior to activating the Quick Pick Plans, you are able to claim and use your respective bonuses.
  • International Nights will remain available to customers on the Quick Pick Plans.

15. Can I benefit from bonuses associated with Diaspora Online and In-store top-ups while on a Quick Pick Plan?

Yes. Eligible online and in-store top-ups will result in the associated bonuses being applied to your account.

16. How will my bonuses received from Diaspora online and in-store top-ups be treated while on a Quick Pick Plan?

Diaspora Boost My Bonus Offer

  • Bonuses added to your account resulting from a Boost My Bonus Offer (topped-up online or in-store) will see your Quick Pick bundles used before affecting your aforementioned bonuses.
Diaspora Bundled Plans Offer
  • Bundled Plans purchased online or in-store will be used before your Quick Pick bundles are affected.
17. If I qualify for Prepaid Free Nights before activating a Quick Pick Plan, will the Quick Pick voice bundle be used first?
No. Your Prepaid Free Nights free calling benefit will be used before your Quick Pick Plan voice bundle.

 

18. If I activate my BFFF and have Quick Picks bundle available, will my Quick Pick balances be used first?

Yes. Quick Pick bundles will be used before your BFFF balance once making a call to your BFFF partner.

 

19. If I qualify for Prepaid Free Nights before activating a Quick Pick Plan, will the Quick Pick voice bundle be used first?

No. Your Prepaid Free Nights free calling benefit will be used before your Quick Pick Plan voice bundle.

 

20. If I have an active Quick Pick Plan and DigiLoan credit available, which balance will be used first?

Your Quick Pick bundles will be used before your DigiLoan balance is affected.

 

21. Can I activate my Quick Pick Plan and an International Calling Plan at the same time?

You will be able to have both the Quick Pick plan and Int’l Plan active at the same time.
Quick Pick’s anywhere voice minutes should take priority over the Int’l calling plan minutes for the below destinations
  • USA
  • Canada
  • UK landlines
When the Quick Pick Plan’s anywhere minutes are exhausted the charges will be deducted from the Int’l calling plans bundles.
Should both your minutes for your Quick Pick and International Plan become exhausted, the overage rate of $5 per minute will be applied for calls to the plan’s destinations.
 
22. What are the rules concerning auto-renewal and roll-over of unused bundles?
The following are the rules concerning auto renewal of a Quick Pick Plan.
  • Auto renewal notifications will be given at the usual two (2) days and one (1) day prior to plan expiry. You will have the option to opt out if you choose to.
  • Voice - Unused voice bundles will roll over when plans auto renew, with the activation of existing 4G and LTE Data and Smart plans.
  • Text - Unused text bundles will roll over when auto renew, with the activation of an existing 4GLTE Smart plan.
  • Data - Unused data bundles WILL roll over.
  • All Quick Pick Plans will auto-renew, once there is sufficient credit on the account.

23. How do I change plans?

You may be eligible for more than one Quick Pick Plan at a time and may want to move from one plan to another. You will be able to change between available Quick Pick Plans.
  • Plan changing is immediate and you are only be allowed to transit to higher Quick Pick plans.

Voice and Text and Data bundles will roll over upon transiting.

 

24. What happens when the Quick Pick bundles are depleted before the plan period?
  • Out of bundle voice rate will be applied to the destinations listed below. Once your Quick Pick voice minutes have been depleted, you will be charged JMD5/min plus tax for calls to the below destinations;
    • Local Digicel to Digicel mobile numbers.
    • Digicel to Digicel Fixed (DigiHome, Wimax, and Digi Play)
    • Other local Mobile and other local fixed local calls.
    • Calls to USA/UK Fixed /CAN.

Text messages will be charged at regular rate from your Main balance

Data charges will be rated at $45 per MB or charged from any other Data balance available

Note: Voice calls will be charged per Rate Plan once the Quick Pick Plan has expired.

 

25. Will I receive a message to tell me when my bundles are completely used?

Yes. You will receive the following bundle notifications as your Quick Pick Plans bundles are being used.
26. Will I be able to browse at an overage rate should my Quick Pick Plan data balance be depleted?
Yes. Overage rates will be charged at $45/MB once an active data plan balance has been depleted.
  • Overage rate of JMD45/MB for customers accessing data with an active Quick Pick Plan and no available data bundle.
  • PAYGO rate of JMD45/MB for customers accessing data with no active Quick Pick or regular 4G/LTE Data/Smart Plan.

 

27. Can I activate a 4G Data Plan while a Quick Pick plan is active?

Yes. You will be able to change from your 4G Data plan to a Quick Pick plan and from a Quick Pick plan to any 4G Data Plan.

You will receive additional bundles from the Data plan activated.

If a plan change was completed from a Quick Pick Plan to a 4G Data plan, Quick Pick voice and text bundles will remain on account for the duration of the Quick Pick Plan.

 

28. Can I activate an LTE Data/LTE Smart Plan while a Quick Pick plan is active?

Yes. You are able to change from your LTE Data/LTE Smart plan to a Quick Pick Plan and from a Quick Pick plan to any LTE Data/LTE Smart plan.

You will receive additional bundles from the plan activated.

If a plan change was completed from a Quick Pick Plan to a LTE Data/LTE Smart plan, Quick Pick voice and text bundles will remain on your account for the duration of the Quick Pick Plan.

 

29. Are there any special dialling formats to be used in order to access the Quick Pick Plan?

No. There is no special way to dial the destinations included in the ‘Anywhere’ minutes.

 

30. If I am roaming can I use my Quick Pick Plan?

No. You must be in Jamaica on the Digicel Jamaica network to benefit from this offer.
