1.      What is the Champions League PlayGo Pass?

The Champions League PlayGo Pass is a special plan designed with you in mind. The PlayGo Pass gives customers who purchase the plan 5GB to enjoy their favourite Champions League matches on the PlayGo app on select Champions League match days between April 10th and May 26th 2018.

2.      Who can activate the Champions League PlayGo Pass?

This plan is available to all Digicel Prepaid and Postpaid customers.

3.      How do I activate this plan?

Prepaid and Postpaid customers may activate the plan by dialing *147# or visiting the My Digicel app.

4.      How long is this plan valid for after activation?

The Champions League PlayGo Pass will always expire at midnight on the same day of activation by the customer.

5.      How much data do I get with this plan?

Your plan comes with 5GB of data that can only be used to view content on Digicel’s PlayGo app or website.

6.      Are there any special offers with this promotion?

Yes, if you purchase the Champions League PlayGo Pass on the My Digicel app, you will receive a 50% discount on the standard price (see table above).

7.      Where can I download the My Digicel app?

You can download the My Digicel app for free from either the Android PlayStore or the Apple App Store.

8.      Can I use the data from this plan to browse content other than PlayGo?

No, unfortunately, the 5GB allocation that comes with the plan can only be used towards browsing content available on PlayGo only.

9.      If I activate this Champions League PlayGo Pass, will I be able to activate a regular data plan/mixed bundle for voice calls and regular data browsing?

Yes, you may activate any other data only plan or mixed bundle to continue making calls and browsing data.   

10. Can I purchase and use this plan at any time during the day?

Yes, on select Champions League match days where the plan is available and after activation, customers may use their 5GB data allotment to browse their favourite channels on PlayGo at any time during the day. Please note however, that the plan will expire at midnight on the day of activation.

11. Is there a limit to how many times I can activate this plan?

Yes, unfortunately, a plan can only be purchased once on the Champions League match day that the plan is available.

12. Does my data rollover?

Unfortunately, your data will not rollover and will expire at midnight on the same day of activation even if you repurchase this plan after expiry.

13.  Will this plan auto-renew?

No, the Champions League PlayGo pass will not auto-renew.

14. Why can’t I see this plan on *147# or MyDigicel app?

This plan is only available for activation on the following Champions League match days:

  • Quarter Finals - April 10th & 11th 2018
  • Semi Finals 1st leg – April 24th & 25th 2018
  • Semi Finals 2nd leg – May 1st & 2nd 2018
  • Finals – May 26th 2018

15. What is PlayGo?

PlayGo is an online streaming service that allows you access to select live local and premium TV channels and several options of On Demand content. 

16. What can I watch on PlayGo?

You can watch live sports, top quality TV shows and movies on PlayGo channels including:
SportsMax 1 & 2, NBA TV, Fight Sports, Catch & Catch 2, and Revolt TV over the internet.

17. Can I stream in HD on PlayGo?

Yes, you can stream in HD on PlayGo.

18. What is the required internet connection speed?

The required internet connection speed is 464 kilobytes per second (kbps). For the best quality, an optimal internet connection speed is required.

19. What happens if my internet connection speed is not fast enough for PlayGo?

If your internet connection speed is not fast enough, PlayGo will adapt to give you the best quality for your internet speed.

20. What devices can I use to stream PlayGo?

You can use your Android phone, Android tablet, iPhone, and iPad to stream PlayGo.

21. What is the minimum requirement for my devices to be able to access PlayGo?

The minimum requirements for your devices to be able to access PlayGo are listed below:-

    Android Devices - Android OS 4.1 and above

    Apple iOS Devices for iPad and iPhone - iOS 8.0 and above

    Not sure what version you’re running?  Check your “Settings”

NB. If your device was purchased within the last three (3) years it should be compatible with the PlayGo app. If you are not sure what version Operating System you have, you can check it under “Settings” at “About device” for Android devices and for iOS devices you can check it under “Settings” at “General” and “About”.

22. How do I use PlayGo on my computer or laptop?

You can use PlayGo on your computer or laptop by typing in your browser and clicking on the direct download link thenfollowing the setup instructions.

23. I don’t have a Digicel ID, what do I do?

If you do not have a Digicel ID, click on the “Register” option in the PlayGo app and follow the instructions. Connect with your Digicel ID/Sign Up for Digicel ID. If you use the mobile data network to access PlayGo, you will be automatically signed into the app.

24. How many devices can I use the PlayGo app at the same time?

You can connect as many devices as you wish.  However, you will only be able to watch TV on one of the devices at a time, so keep this in mind if you plan to share an account with your household. If you try several times to watch TV, it will result in an error message stating that you are “Unable to login. Too many connections”. Once received, you are required to end any other active session and retry your login.

25. Can I use PlayGo when I travel?

Yes, you can use PlayGo when you travel. However, you will only be able to access it via a Wi-Fi connection. Your PlayGo package on a mobile network connection will only be accessible in the country where you subscribed to it. It will not work while you are roaming in another country.
