1.       What is the More Credit offer?

  • With the More Credit offer, new and existing prepaid customers will have the option of choosing to receive an extra 25% in bonus credit on all top ups of $200 or more.

2.       How does the More Credit offer work?

  • Customers, upon completing a qualifying top up ($200 or more), will be in receipt of a confirmation message outlining their ability to receive an additional bonus (25%) by selecting the option for More Credit.
  • More Credit may be activated by accessing the following options:
    • By dialing the short code *147*25#.
    • By accessing the Services Menu via *147# and selecting the ‘More Credit’ option.
    • Via the My Digicel App under the ‘My Plans’ section.
  • After successfully activating the More Credit offer, all qualifying top ups done thereafter will result in an extra 25% added in the form of bonus credit.
  • Activating the More Credit offer will see the following airtime validities for top ups to the main balance as well as for the bonus credit:

NOTE: ALL other aspects of the Prepaid Life Cycle remains the same.

  • If a customer does not select the option to activate the More Credit offer, they will receive their top up as a regular recharge. I.e. no bonuses, no reduced airtime.

 

3.       What are the eligible top ups for this promotion?

  • Eligible top ups for the promotion are electronic top ups and plastic cards only.
  • Diaspora (Online & Retail) top ups are not eligible for this promotion and will not allow for the 25% extra bonus credit.

 

4.       How do I check my bonus credit?

  • You may dial *120*216# send to check your bonus credit.

 

5.       What can I use the bonus credit for?

  • The bonus credit received for the More Credit can be used for the below:
    • Calls
      • Local Digicel mobile and landlines (Play/ WiMAX/Digicel Home phone numbers)
      • Local Off-net mobile and landlines numbers
      • International numbers (USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, both mobile and land lines and landlines in UK and Spain)
  • Text Messages
    • Digicel to Digicel
    • Local Off-net
    • International numbers (USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, both mobile and land lines and landlines in UK and Spain)

Calls and text messages made using bonus credit will be charge at the same rate as per your 6.50 One Rate Plan.

6.    How do I cancel the More Credit offer?

  • You may cancel the offer using any of the aforementioned methods of activation.
    • By dialing the short code *147*25#.
    • By accessing the Services Menu via *147# and selecting the ‘More Credit’ option.
    • Via the My Digicel App under the ‘My Plans’ section.
  • After cancelling the More Credit offer top ups will then revert to giving the original airtime expiry.
  • Unused bonus credit will also expire.

Note: The $5.49 Rate Plan will remain active after cancellation of the More Credit offer.

 

7.     When will my bonus credit expire?

  • Your bonus credit expiry will match that of the top up completed. (see table 1 above)

For example: Kim’s airtime is scheduled to expire on May 3, 2017, she made a Top Up of $400 on May 2, 2017. Her airtime will be extended to May 7, 2017.

 

8.    Will I receive bonus credit if I top up with less than $200?

  • No. Only top ups of $200 or more will qualify for the More Recharge offer.

Note: Diaspora (Online & Retail) top ups are not eligible for this promotion and will not allow for the 25% extra bonus credit.

 

9.    Will I be eligible for bonus credit if I receive a Credit U of $200 or more?

  • No. Credit U transfers are not eligible with this offer.

 

10.    What Value Offers will be unavailable while on the More Credit offer?

  • Customers with the More Credit offer active will not benefit from the below promotions:
    • Best Friend for Free.
    • Double Data
    • First of the Month Top-Up Bonus (Data and Main)
    • Free Nights
    • International Free Nights
    • Gimme 5 (Voice & Text offers)

Note: these value offers will remain unavailable while the customer is active on the 5.49 Rate Plan.

 

11.     What Value Offers will I have available while I am on the More Credit offer?

  • The following benefits will remain available:
    • Digi-Loan
    • Loyalty Points
    • Diaspora/ Online Bonuses
    • Data and International Call Plan purchasing

Note: Your More Credit bonus balance will be used before charges are applied to your other bonuses received from Digi-Loan, Diaspora etc.

 

12.     Are there any services that my More Credit bonus balance will not be used for?

  • Yes. The bonus credit received from the More Credit offer cannot be used for the following:
  • Quick Pick
    • Roaming plans
    • Plan Gifting
    • Credit U
