LAUNCHES NEW BEST VALUE ‘DIGIHOME’ PRODUCT
Telecommunications provider, Digicel has today unveiled its new best value consumer fixed line product, DigiHome. The new fixed line offering follows the recent announcement made by Digicel CEO, Barry O’Brien to move into that market and provide better options for consumers who want to have a phone at home.
DigiHome is a convenient and great value fixed line voice service that is billed per second. This new service for postpaid customers uses a wireless unit in your home to deliver voice and data services.
“We have heard the dissatisfaction from customers with their current options and we are delighted to be launching our best value DigiHome product. It is affordable, convenient to set up and unlike other options in the market, comes with bundled minutes as a part of your subscription fee,” said O’Brien.
Continuing he said “We know that with DigiHome, we will be giving customers a better choice and better value and that will enable Digicel to secure market share in fixed line over the next few months.”
As part of the package, customers pay a low monthly subscription fee that includes bundled minutes to call Digicel local fixed & mobile phones, plus other landline numbers in Jamaica. Internationally, customers can use their bundled minutes to call the USA, Canada, UK landlines, Spain landlines, China,  India & Digicel regional and Caribbean territories.
With no installation fee or waiting period, this cutting edge new landline product also offers value added features such as voicemail, caller ID and call waiting for free. Customers who prefer a prepaid landline service can look out for that offering next year. For more information on DigiHome customers can text 1020 to 137.
