CUSTOMERS GET PAID TO TALK IN DIGICEL’S LATEST VALUE INITIATIVE
Digicel today unveiled the latest addition to its suite of great value initiatives for customers. The telecoms leader is now introducing a Cash Back reward programme, which sees its Jamaican customers getting paid to talk.
“Our prepaid customers will get Cash Back every single time they pay to make a call from 7am to 7pm each day. For every whole billed minute they spend on local Digicel to Digicel calls in the day, Digicel will give our customers one dollar back in bonus credit to be used from 9pm to 12 midnight the same day,” explained Chief Operating Officer at Digicel, Richard Fraser. “The accumulated credit is placed in a dedicated account that customers can use to call their friends and family on the 2-million strong Digicel network,” Fraser added.
The Cash Back programme follows a 12-year history of Digicel plans and offers that deliver real value to customers, the most popular being Gimme 5 which gives customers free talk, free text, free international and free nights once they top up with $200 or more in any given day.
“We want our customers to know that we understand the financial pressures in our country at this time and so we are always actively looking for innovative ways to give customers more value, hence this historic introduction of the Cash Back in Jamaica,” said Fraser.
To start receiving cash back, Digicel customers simply need to opt for free by dialing *159#. The initiative is in keeping with Digicel’s ongoing commitment to give back to customers and always provide the best service, the best value and the best network.
