Commenting on Digicel’s readiness for the storm, Donovan Betancourt, comments; “We have done everything possible to ensure that we are ready and able to ensure that from our point of view, Ernesto passes without incident. Our cell sites are checked and ready and our technical teams and field engineers have been mobilized across the island.
He continues; “Our primary concern is the safety of our customers and our staff and that we keep people connected to friends and family no matter what. We would like to take this opportunity to remind people to stay safe, keep their phones charged and ensure they have credit on their phones so that they can communicate with their loved ones.”
