Prepaid Starter Bundles FAQs

Selected Prepaid customers who are on a special whitelist will be able to benefit from these bundles.

Starter Bundle users will be able to purchase the Voice Packs as Add Ons.

Voice Packs Portfolio

Billing type while on Voice Pack/ Starter Bundles: In the 1st minute, per 15 sec billing; when in the 2nd min – revert to per sec billing

Once the customer is within the first minute of the call, per 15 second billing will be applied. They will be charged per 15 second billing for any duration less than 15 seconds.

Local minutes:

· Local On-Net mobile numbers

· Digicel + landline

· Flow Landline

· Flow Mobile

Following depletion of minutes, customers will incur a cost $9.99+tax ($10.49) per min if the plan is still active. Regular per second billing will be applied.

NB- Effective November 1^st, the rate will be $10.99 + tax ($11.49)

The Starter Bundle add-ons will not be capped.

Add-on is valid for the main bundle duration and will only be available while on the particular Starter Bundle. Once the bundle expires or customer transit to another plan (whether Starter or Prime), access to the Add- On will be removed.

No, these add-ons will only be available only while on the Starter Bundles.

Add-Ons can only be purchased once while on a bundle.

No, customers on the 30 Day Starter Bundle will not be allowed to activate the Digital add-on. This already comes with the plan.

No, Customers on the 30 day Starter Bundle will not be able to purchase the Whatsapp Add-On, as this bundle already comes with the benefit

*Digital app add-ons will be added at a later time; 30day to be modified to exclude the digital apps as well

No, the Add-Ons are unlimited and is valid while the Bundle is active. 

Activation of Starter Bundle via UMM

Yes. All Starter Bundles will auto-renew except the 1Day Starter Bundle.

The new bundles will allow early renewal and transit.

Data and minutes from the bundle will rollover once a bundle is activated before the current plan’s expiry date. If the customer moves to a Prime Bundle or other compatible plans listed, they will have both data bundle to be used. 

No. When the Starter Bundle expires, unused data will be removed at 11:59:59 P.M. on the day of expiry. If the customer re-purchases a plan after expiration, only the new plan allotment will be applied to the account.

Once the plan expires access to the services will be removed. 

Yes. A notification will be sent to the customer via SMS.

All-Net/Local Minutes

· The Starter Bundle will be available to new sim activations

· As a one-time offer, customers can activate the 7 Day Starter Bundle or the 3 Day Prime Brawta Bundle

· Customers on Legacy Plans, will NOT be able to transit to the Starter Bundle

· New and Port-In customers will NOT be able to transit to the Starter Bundle

· 30 Day Unlimited Port-In will NOT be able to transit to the Starter Bundle

· Customers on SC 1006 (Vacation Plan) will NOT be able to transit to the Starter Bundle

· Customers on a Diaspora (Big Data Plan / Stay Connected) will be able to transit to the Starter Bundles.

· Customers on a Prime Bundle will be able to transit to the Starter Bundles.

· Customers on a Quick Pick will be able to transit to the Starter Bundles.

· Customers on a Voice & Data Pack will be able to transit to the Starter Bundles.

Prime Brawta and Brawta Bundle:

· Starter Bundle

· Eligible customers who have active Brawta (2Day, 5Day) and Prime Brawta (1Day, 3Day -, 7Day, 14 Day, 28Day) will be able to activate a Starter Bundle and will receive the new data allotment (DA159); the main data (DA 150) will remain with the existing rules on validity.

    o Eligible customers who have active Brawta (2Day, 5Day) and Prime Brawta (1Day , 3Day, 7Day, 14 Day, 28Day) will be able to activate a Starter Bundle will receive main data (DA 150); the new Starter Data allotment (DA159) will remain with the original plan validity.

· Voice :

  Eligible customers who have active Brawta bundle (2Day, 5Day) and Prime Brawta (1Day, 3Day, 7Day, 14 Day, 28Day) will be able to activate a Starter Bundle and will receive the minutes from the Starter Bundle; the (all-net or on/off-net) voice mins from Brawta will remain with the existing rules on validity.

    o Eligible customers who have active Brawta (2Day , 5Day) and Prime Brawta (1Day , 3Day, 7Day, 14 Day, 28Day) will be able to activate a Starter Bundle and will receive the new (on-net/local minutes) minutes (DA 22); the (on/off-net) voice mins from brawta will remain with the existing rules on validity.

Other Plans (Diaspora Plans & Quick Pick)

Starter Bundle- Data:

Eligible customers who have active plans and bundle which are included, will be able to activate a Starter Bundle and will receive the new data allotment (DA159); the main data (DA 150) will remain with the existing rules on validity.

    o Eligible customers who have active plans and bundle which are included, will be able to activate a Starter Bundle and will receive main data (DA 150); the new data allotment (DA159) will remain with the original plan validity.

· Starter Bundle-Voice:

 Eligible customers who have active plans and bundle which are included, will be able to activate a Starter Bundle and will receive the new voice minutes; the (all-net or on/off-net) voice mins the other plans will remain with the existing rules on validity.

    o Eligible customers who have active plans and bundle which are included, will be able to activate a voice and will receive the new (on-net/local minutes) voice minutes (DA22); the (on/off-net) voice mins from other plans will remain with the existing rules on validity.
