In response to concerns about being charged a different rate and why the call rate has increased, the below responses can be given:

Ø In order to reflect the rising cost of providing this service, we continue to invest in upgrading our network, we’re making a slight adjustment to our Voice PayGo service rates. 

    o Having realized that our customers are desirous of paying less for voice calls, we have included an unlimited local call offer in our diverse and competitive portfolio of plans that provide more value compared to the standard voice rates per minute.

    o Customers can visit our website or MyDigicel app to learn more about our new Prime Bundles that offer unlimited local calls. Plus, our Bundles come fully loaded data.

Ø In response to the increased demand to pay less for voice calls, it has become necessary for us to revise our current Voice PayGo service rates in order to provide more value and benefits that satisfy our customers’ needs.

In response to concerns about being charged a different rate and why the call rate has increased:

    o This is our new standard rate for calls that are made while not on a plan or bundle. It is based on changes to the costs associated with delivering the service.

    o Since most customers are on a bundle or plan, they are not charged for calls at this rate.

    o To save on the cost of calling, activate a Digicel Prime Bundle that gives you unlimited local calls at less than $1 per minute.

Ø In response to concerns around future price increase, we’re continually improving our network to ensure our customers receive the best quality service and simply more value. In order to do so seamlessly and reflect the rising cost of providing voice and data services, the business may adjust rates accordingly. Our team will continue to provide the necessary information to keep you up-to-date.

Ø We understand how you feel about price increases and this is why we make very careful consideration whenever we are making these changes. We always look for ways to add more value to our plans and services, for example, by giving you a compact voice and data plan to enhance your digital life.
