1.     What are the Prepaid Prime Bundles?

The first major move in our new Digital Operator ecosystem is giving you the opportunity to enjoy a refreshed digital life experience.

That means we’re enabling you to enjoy all of the digital engagement, digital experiences and data you could possibly wish for in a single plan. Say hello to our new Prepaid Prime bundles.

The prepaid Prime Bundles are an attractive set of 4 (four) plans that will give you a new digital lifestyle by giving better value and simplicity to the prepaid portfolio. These bundles will include more data for any use as well as data for all our Digital services. We have eight (8) applications ready to give you with the best digital experience.

2.     What are the digital services included in the Prepaid Prime Bundles?

Each of the Prepaid Prime bundles include our full suite of eight (8) Digital Services. And the great thing about our suite of digital services is that there is something for everyone, no matter what they are into.

Prime bundles feature our suite of  eight (8) digital services (or apps) spanning d’Music and PlayGo for music and TV streaming, BiP for messaging, gaming and marketplaces, LOOP for news, Billo for cloud storage, SportsMax for live streaming and news about sports and GoLoud, our new app for Radio stations and Podcasts and My Digicel App to manage your Digicel account- each with its own super generous data allotment so that you can feel, touch, experience and enjoy them as they live their digital lives.

3.     How does the prepaid Prime bundles work?

These are a new Digicel bundles with rich allotments that will allow access and usage to all the digital services.

Once you activate any of the Prime Bundles via MyDigicel App, *147# or Web you will receive

·         Any use data

·         Specific data allotment to each of the digital services

·         Unlimited Local minutes

·         Depending on the plan, you may also get premium access to d’Music, PlayGo, SportsMax & GoLoud apps and more!

5.     Am I able to transit between any of the Prime Bundles?

You can transit to any Prime Bundle once you are in a Legacy plan. However once you are on a Prime Bundle, you can transit upwards only.

 

6.     How can I activate the Prime Bundles?

You can activate your favorite bundle through 3 methods - MyDigicel App, Website or *147#. Activation can happen automatically through auto-renewal feature.

Below more information around these methods:

Activation (MyDigicel App):

1.     You will be able to activate a Prime Bundle with DO Bundles by accessing the MyDigicel App

2.     After gaining access to MyDigicel by entering the Digicel ID, you will go to My Plans section >> Select available Bundles >> Click on the desired Revised Prime Bundle to activate the plan.

3.     After selecting the desired Revised Prime Bundle, the following will happen:

a.     Once you have sufficient credit they will receive a SMS advising that the plan has been successfully activated.

b.     If you don’t have sufficient credit they will receive a SMS advising of insufficient funds to activate the plan, please top up and try again.

Activation (Website):

1.     You will be able to activate the Prime Bundle by accessing MyDigicel Web (p.mydigicel.net) in your favorite internet browser

2.     After gaining access to MyDigicel by entering the Digicel ID, you will go to the My Plans section >> Select available plan >> Click on the desired Prime Bundle to activate the plan.

3.     After selecting the desired Prime Bundle, the following will happen:

a.     Once you have sufficient credit you will receive a SMS advising that the plan has been successfully activated.

b.     If you don’t have sufficient credit then you will receive a SMS advising of insufficient funds to activate the plan, please top up and try again.

Activation via *147# code:

1.     You will be able to dial *147# to access the UMM menu

2.     You will then enter the selection code that will bring you to Prepaid Prime Bundle Menu.

3.     In the Prepaid Prime Bundle Menu, you can enter the desire selection code and activate the desired duration Prime Bundle plan.

4.     Once the activation of the Prime Bundle plan is complete you will receive a flash USSD message and follow by a SMS stating:

a.     That the plan successfully activated if the customer had sufficient credit for activation.

b.     Or if there was insufficient credit available for plan activation, the SMS would advise to please add the required funds and try again.

7.     Can my Prime Bundles automatically renew?

Yes, your Prime Bundle will have the auto-renewal feature active by default so you can continue enjoying it without interruptions:

1.     You will receive a notification 2 days and 1 day before their Prime Bundle expires advising that their plan will auto renew

2.     You can also receive notification 4hrs before and 1hr with renewal Opt-in depending on the Bundle

3.     If at expiry you has sufficient credit on the plan will auto renew.

4.     If you don’t have enough credit at plan expiry, the auto renewal would fail and the Prime Bundle will give you a grace period until midnight on that day to renew manually or buy another Bundle

5.     You will also be able to opt out of auto-renewal via *147# or the My Digicel App or the My Digicel Web.

8.     How can I check my Data Balances?

MyDigicel app is the best place for self-service with your Digicel account via a.mydigicel.net.

In MyDigicel app you will be able to check your Main Data balance, App data balances and Add-on Data balances.

You can also check your Main Data balance only via *147#

9.     What type of browsing does the main data cover?

The main data can be used to access any internet medium such as:

·         Streaming the internet 

·         YouTube

·         Social application (Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, twitter, snapchat)

·         There are no restrictions, customers may use the data as they choose.

 

10.  Will I be able to continue enjoying Nuff plans (Nuff Nuff, Nuff data & Talk, Unlimited Social, and Unlimited plans) after using a Prime Bundle?

Yes, you can continue enjoying these plans and all other plans available if you are an existing Digicel customer who joined the network before October 20, 2020. These plans will remain with all features and associated add-ons.

Note that once transit occurs from Nuff Nuff to Prime bundles, all your existing allocations for data, voice and SMS will be carried over to their new Prime bundle.

11.  Will I be allowed to move between Prime bundles and any other Digicel data plan?

Yes, you will be able to move between other Digicel data plans and Prime bundles except for new customers joining the network after October 20, 2020.

12.  Which plan will a new customer receive when joining the network?

New customers will receive a Prime bundle and will only be allowed to activate Prime bundles. Port-in customers will have in addition access to Social+YT plans.

13.  So if I port into Digicel will I have access to Social+ YT plans?

Yes, as long as you Port-in you will still be able to benefit from the Social+YT plans. If you wish to activate a Prime bundle you will still be able to transit between the Prime bundles and the Social+ YT plans. Note that you will receive a free 28 day Prime Bundle on joining.

14.  Is there any data allotment for Snapchat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter (SWIFT) with my new Prime bundles?

No, unfortunately social bundles will not be available with the Prime bundles. However you will be given a super-sized data allocation starting at 1GB for the 1 day plan so you can access to all social media available from that bundle.

15.  Will there be any SMS allotment included in the Prime bundles?

No, SMS allotments are not included in Prime Bundles. SMS sent will be charged from main account at the rate at $3.75 for on-net, $4.75 for off-net SMS and $6.75 for international SMS.

16.  What happens if I have a Standalone plan active for any Digicel App and then purchase a Prime Bundle?

The below will happen:

a.     Your Prime Bundle data allotments will take priority over the Standalone plan

b.     You will continue having Premium access level

c.     Standalone plan will maintain its original validity

          

17.  What if I have an active Prime Bundle but does not have one of the Apps?

You can continue enjoying your Bundles but we strongly recommend you to download all Apps to have the full Digital experience!

No worries, let us help you to download all your Digicel Apps: Starting October 20, 2020 until Nov 30, 2020, you have available a one-time App Store 1GB redeemable bundle which you may choose to redeem anytime for FREE so you can download the required app from the Google Play Store or the IOS App Store.

18.  Tell me more… How can I redeem my App Store 1GB data?

The offer can only be redeemed via My Digicel App, you will receive an SMS notification advising them how to redeem this benefit.

19.  Is there any restriction on when to use the 1GB for App Store?

Yes. After you redeem you code, you can access the Google Play Store or the IOS App Store any time for FREE during 4hrs only. After this time the promotion will expire.

20.  Will I be given the option to check my balance for my 1GB App Store Gift?

Yes. You will be able to check the My Digicel App (a.mydigicel.net) to check your Gift balance.

21.  Would I be notified when my 1GB App store Gift is being depleted?

Yes. You will receive notifications close to the data depletion.

22.  I finished my 1GB App Store gift… is there any other benefit to download the Digital apps?

Yes, we really want you to download these Apps! Starting October 20, 2020 until December 19, 2020, you can download your Digicel Apps through the Google Play Store or the IOS App Store for FREE between the hours of 10:00pm and 5:59am every day.

23.  Let’s talk about the App allotments in my Prime Bundles, what can they be used for?

24.  If I finish my App allotment from the Prime bundle, where would I be charged when using the apps?

You will be charged from Main data in your Bundle. However, you can also purchase an Add-On for the respective app prior to the App allotment depletion. Check below for more information around Add-ons.

25.   Will my App allotment rollover?

The Digital App Bundles will allow rollover of data not exceeding 56GB which is the equivalent of 2 times the 28Day Plan data allocations.

26.  What are the Add-Ons for the respective apps?

27.  If the data allotment for one of the Apps has been exhausted, can I use the data allotment of another App?

No. You bundle comes with exclusive data allotment for each App, it cannot be shared.

NB: PlayGo bundle access PlayGo ONLY, d’Music bundle can access d’Music Only etc.

28.  Will I be notified when I have exhausted my App data bundles?

Yes, you will receive several SMS notifications once during the time you are depleting your App data allotment.

29.  Let’s go deeper around my Main data, is rollover allowed?

Yes, you will be given unlimited rollover for main data. It is yours!

30.  Will I be notified when my Main data is being depleted?

Yes. You will receive several SMS notifications during the time you are depleting your Main data for 50MB, 25MB and 0MB remaining

31.  Are there Main Data Add-Ons for the Prime Bundles?

32.  When the Prime bundles expire, will there be a grace period for unused data?

After your Prime Bundle expires, it will keep the remaining MBs from any digital app and Main data with a Grace Period until 12 AM of the day of expiry. 

 

33.  Let’s talk about Voice, is rollover allowed?

Yes, however as part of the Fair Usage policy, rollover can go up to 5000 minutes from plan to plan. Fair Usage policy will also include a daily cap of 120 minutes that will rollover in-plan as well for the duration of it.

the Unltd Social + Talk will also be carried over upon transiting and will still be accessible.

34.  Will I be notified when I have reached the Fair Usage policy for voice calls?

Yes, you will be notified accordingly close to the cap of the Fair Usage Policy.

37.  Can First of the Month (FOTM) bonus or DigiLoan credit be used to activate the Prime bundles?

Yes. FOTM bonus and DigiLoan credit can be used for activation of Prime Bundle. Note the FOTM bonus will be used first when charging for a Prime Bundle.

38.  Will customers be eligible for the 25% bonus when they activate a Prime bundle?

No. Customers will not benefit from 25% more data for the activation of the Prime bundles.

39.  Will the Prime Bundles be eligible plans in the Shake It promotion?

Yes. Prime Bundles are eligible for the Shake It promotion.
