First Top Up of the Month Terms and Conditions

These “First Top-Up of the Month Promotion” (the “Promotion”) Frequently asked Questions (“FAQs”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in this promotion.

“We” or “us” means Digicel (Jamaica) Limited a company registered under the laws of Jamaica with the registered offices at 14 Ocean Boulevard. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.


1.      What is the First TopUp of the Month Bonus?


The First Top-Up of the Month Bonus is a promotion that awards all Prepaid customers who TopUp with a single J$200.00 or more from the 1st to the 7th of each month. As a prepaid customers you will receive the opportunity to claim an additional J$200.00 bonus credit for any use to make local and International calls, to send local and international SMS or purchase any prepaid bundle or plan.


2.      How do I claim or redeem the bonus credit?


After a qualifying TopUp, you will receive a notification SMS confirming that you have qualified to claim a bonus credit. Note that you will only have 24hrs to claim it.


You qualify for $200 bonus credit in the First of The Month Bonus promo. Claim it within 24 hrs at or dial *147*1#. Text 2 to 137 for info.

You can claim it via the MyDigicel App option: Claim My Bonus  or using *141*1# code.


3.      What happens if I don’t claim it in 24hrs?


You will not be able to claim your Bonus after 24hrs


4.      If my first Top-Up was below the qualifying amount, and the second top-up was $200 or more, will I receive the bonus?


Yes, if your first top was less than the qualifying amount you will not receive the bonus, however once a qualifying top-up is done before the 7th, you will received the bonus credit.


5.      How many times can I receive this bonus?


You only qualify once per month.


6.      What is the bonus credit’s validity?


The bonus will be valid for 24hrs days and expires at 11:59:59PM on the last day of usage.


7.      Which top-up methods are eligible for the bonus credit?


All direct top-ups are eligible for the promotion. Flex card, online, retail and bank


8.      Can Credit U be used to qualify for this promotion?


No. Only direct top-ups will be qualified for this promotion


9.      Would I be eligible if I have an outstanding Digiloan?


Yes, If you have an outstanding Digiloan and make an eligible top-up, that customer will still receive the bonus credit, if the remaining recharge amount after loan repayment satisfies the eligibility requirement, i.e., the remaining recharge amount is $200 or more.


10.  How can the bonus credit be used?


The bonus credit can be used to make local and international calls, to send SMS, and all Prepaid plan purchases. 


11.  Can the bonus credit be transferred?


No. The bonus credit is not transferable.


12.  What if a top up with a $108 and $120 credit is done, will the bonus credit be applied?


No. The top-up has to be a single $200. After doing those top-ups, if you then top up with a $200 credit, being that it is the first single $200 for the month, you will receive the bonus.
