These “First Top-Up of the Month Promotion” (the “Promotion”) Frequently asked Questions (“FAQs”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in this promotion.
“We” or “us” means Digicel (Jamaica) Limited a company registered under the laws of Jamaica with the registered offices at 14 Ocean Boulevard. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.
1. What is the “First Top-Up of the Month” bonus credit promotion?
a. Digicel is providing prepaid customers with an opportunity to receive $200 additional credit (Bonus Credit) provided that you top-up with credit valued $200 or more from October 1, 2020 - October 7, 2020 (the promotional period).
2. How does the promotion work?
a. You are required to Top-Up with a single transaction via direct Top-Up of $200 or more within the promotional period and you shall receive $200 bonus credit that can be used to call, text or activate a data plan.
b. Note: If you top-up with less than $200 or conduct multiple top-ups equalling to $200 during the promotional period, you will not qualify for “First Top-Up of the Month” bonus credit.
3 Will I be notified when I receive the bonus credit?
a. You will receive a text message from Digicel notifying you that you have received bonus credit once you have added the qualifying amount of credit to your account during the promotional period.
4. What top-up methods are eligible for the bonus credit?
a. All Top-Up methods, except Credit U transfers, are eligible for this promotion.

6. How much bonus credit will I receive if I Top-Up with more than $200?
a. If you Top-Up with more than $200, you shall still receive $200 bonus credit.
7. What if I Top-Up with a $108 and $120 credit, will I still receive the bonus credit?
a. No. You will need to make a single Top-Up of $200 or more.
8. Can bonus credit be transferred to another number?
The bonus credit is for your personal use only and cannot be sold or transferred to another customer.
9. Do I have to claim the bonus credit?
a. Once you Top-Up with the qualifying amount of $200 credit, the bonus credit will be automatically added to your account.
10. How many times am I eligible to receive the bonus credit?
a. The bonus credit shall only be applied to your account once (1) during the promotional period.
11. How long is the bonus credit valid for?
a. The bonus credit will be valid for 7 days from the date of Top-Up and is valid until 11:59:59 pm on the expiry date.
12. Can Credit U be used to qualify for this promotion?
a. No. Only direct top-up methods as per Section 4 of these Terms and Conditions.
13. Will the bonus credit be used before my main account balance for calls, texts and plan purchases?
a. Yes. The bonus credit will be deducted for any activity that requires the use of credit such as calls, texts and plan purchases. Once the bonus credit is depleted or expired then credit usage shall be deducted from your main balance.
14. How can I check my bonus credit balance?
a. You may check your bonus credit by dialling *120*27#.
15. Will I still get the $200 bonus if my first Top-Up of the month goes toward repaying my DigiLoan?
a. You will receive the $200 bonus credit, provided that the balance of your Top-Up after repaying the DigiLoan exceeds $200. For example: You Top-Up with $500 and automatically repay your DigiLoan of $240; your balance of $260 will qualify you to receive the $200 bonus.
